Meaning: Hands shine with charity and not with brace-let, purity by bathe and not
by sandal paste, Satisfaction with self-respect and not with food, Salvation with
knowledge and not by shaving the head.

Meaning: Body gets purity by water, mind with truthfulness, man by
education and penance and intellect by knowledge.

gauNaona &ayato %vaaya-: kaopao
nao~oNa gamyato .
Meaning: Knowledge is preserved by continuous study. Family is perceived
by one’s behavior. The virtues show one’s originality, (however) the anger can
be sensed from one’s eyes.
