efore Christ came to earth the first time, the early preachers told about it in many books of the Old Testament. In the first four books of the New Testament it tells of how Christ came to earth. It was all just as the early preachers wrote. These same men of God wrote about how Christ will come to earth the second time. We have no reason to believe He will not come just as they told about it long ago. 1. The Bible speaks of Christ Second Coming. It tells of His second coming eight times more

often than of His first coming. It speaks of It 318 times in the New Testament. 2. The Church leaders taught that Christ would return. He will send Jesus back to the world...Act. 3:20 ...This will happen when the Lord Jesus comes down from heaven with His powerful angels in a bright fire 2 Thes.1:7 (see also Ja.5:8, 2 Pe.1:16, Jo.2:28, Ju.14) 3. The angels told of Christ return. They said...This same Jesus Who was taken from you into heaven will return in the same way you saw Him go up into heaven Act.1:11

4. Jesus told of His return. The Son of Man will come as fast as lightning goes across the sky from east to west Mat.24:27 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Joh. 14:3 (see also Mar.1.36, Luk.21:27, Jo.21:22) The second coming of Christ is just what it says it is in plain language. Christ Himself is coming again as a person and will be seen by everyone. See! He is coming in the clouds. Every eye will see Him. Rev. 1:7

WHEN SHALL THESE THINGS BE?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you ...That day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Mat. 24:3,4,36 It is sufficient for us to know that God has appointed a latter day for the restoring of all things; but when it will be is hidden from us all for our sake, so that we may be all the more watchful, so that we are not taken by surprise. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Luk. 12:40 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1Th. 5:2 The signs of its approach have been given but the precise time is not indicated by these things. One part of their inquiry was when those things should be. He now replies to them by saying that the precise time would not be foretold. How foolish then to be figuring out the time of the Lord's coming. Many have announced the day of the end of the world. All of them failed again and again just to disappoint to their followers and be ashamed.

COUNTDOWN: SIGNS BEFORE THE END

ISRAEL:THE FIG TREE (1948)
Israel restored. The Jews returned to their homeland. Now, Israel is one of the most powerful nations in the Middle East. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Mat 24:32. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Isa. 66:8. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Eze. 36:24. The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. Isa 35:1.

THE EU:THE BEASTS HEADQUARTERS (1957)

And as the [10] toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom and it shall stand for ever. Dan. 2:42,44. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns...And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings Rev. 13:1,17:12. For that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God 2Th.2:3-4. The European Union is the old Roman Empire restored to be the Headquarters of the Beast, the Antichrist.

THE UN: THE NATIONS AGAINST GOD (1945)

The United Nations and the Beast will lead all nations to fight against Gods people, Israel, in the battle of Armageddon. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed. Psa. 2:2. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. Rev 16:14;19:19. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats. Mat. 25:32.

THE FALSE PROPHET: THE LAST POPE OF BABYLON (1929)

The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth And the woman which thou sawest is that great city (the Vatican), which reigneth over the kings of the earth And the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies Rev. 17:9,18;18:22. And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast Rev 13:12. The Last Pope of Rome will lead the unity of all religions, with great wonders will direct people to worship the Beast.

NEW AGE:THE RISE OCCULT (1976)

Gnostics, Freemasons, Theosophists, Spiritualists, etc. believe that they are gods. Nowadays, they control most of the media. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Mat 24:5. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Mat 24:11. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders... Mat 24:24. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils 1Ti 4:1. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. Jas 3:15. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Co. 11:14.

DOOMSDAY:THE COLAPSE OF THE MOTHER EARTH
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Mat. 24:6,7. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Luk. 21:25-26. Our planet earth is coming to its end. Most of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes took place in the XX century.

THE SMALLGLOBAL VILLAGE: PLAYING TO BE GOD

The increase of transportation and communication media will allow what before had been impossible even to think. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Dan. 12:4. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Rev. 13:16-18. See! He is coming in the clouds. Every eye will see Him. Rev. 1:7.

WHEAT & TARES: APOSTASY, PERSECUTION & MISIONS

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2Ti 4:3-4. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Mat 24:9,12-14. The church is facing its final challenge. To fill the earth with the Gospel in spite of the persecution and apostasy.

SIN CITY: BACK TO NOAH AND LOT DAYS

Nowadays we see Homosexuality, Pornography, Abortion, Euthanasia, Anarchy, Family break-up, Racism, Exploitation, etc. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2Ti. 3:1-5. And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot (Sodom and Gomorrah). Luk. 17:26,28

THE RAPTURE:THE BEGINNING OF THE END

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Co 15:52. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mat 24:31. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven ... and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Th 4:17. The beginning of the end of the world will be the sudden disappearance of the true Christians from all over the world.

WITH A GRATEFUL HEART: A PRAYER FOR THANKSGIVING DAY

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:4
With a heart full of appreciation because of Your goodness and with thanksgiving in my soul for Your boundless grace, I come in this Day of Thanksgiving, God of loving-kindness and mercy, to join with heart and voice all your people to praise and adore You as wonderful God and understanding Father in Christ Jesus. Throughout this year you have opened Your hands and poured out on me blessing after blessing. You have provided me with all that I need to sustain body and life. You have opened your heart and drawn me closer to Yourself, blotted out all my sin, cleansed my conscience from guilt, and spoken peace to my heart. Richly and abundantly You have offered to me Gospel and Sacrament that my soul be healed, my faith strengthened, my character developed, and my life directed. Accept the thanks and praise of my grateful heart. I sing of Your goodness, I shout for joy because of Your mercies. Let my thanksgiving, however, go beyond words and give evidence in the sharing of my blessing with the hungry, the needy, the lonely. Give me the grace to continue to praise You as a thankful child of Your love and with all the family of Your household to serve you with faithfulness and loyal devotion through Jesus, my Savior and Friend.
