SAVING YOUR IMAGES

SERVER - Logging into the Server to save your work


1. LOGIN to YOUR Server Account 2. Go to your Documents folder 3. Create a new folder (File New Folder) and name it Geologic Time

New Folder Geologic Time 4. Save your Reference page in this folder 5. Save ALL of your images for this project into this folder

FINDING IMAGES
1. Go to www.google.com
Type in the topic that you are searching for:

Click on:
Images www.google.com

SAVING IMAGES:
1. Choose a relevant image that you like (Earths Landmasses)

7. Click on Save As 8. Name this picture with a relevant Title

9. Save the Image to the new folder you created on the Server (Geologic Time)

REFERENCES
1. Open Microsoft Word 2. Save this document into the Server in your Geologic Time folder named References. FORMAT YOUR REFERENCES LIKE THIS:

7. ADDING TEXT a. Click on the add text box b. Type in the text you would like to add

(Titles of each section Name of Period, Time, Earths Landmasses, etc) c. Click Save d. Move the text where you want it in the video by dragging it 8. CHOOSE MUSIC a. Click on Choose Music b. Choose a genre and listen to the music and choose a song that you like, then Click c. Save and Continue 9. FINALIZING VIDEO a. Click Produce Video and wait b. Watch your AMAZING production 10. EDITING VIDEO a. Login to Animoto b. Find your video in the list c. Click Edit Project d. Click Edit/Create New Video EDIT AWAY!

GLOGSTER
1. Go to www.glogster.com/edu 2. Click on login in the upper right corner. 3. Enter your nickname and password and press the enter key (one will be given to your group)

To Create a Glog:
1. To create a new project, click on create a new glog. 2. Clear the glog of all the default items but clicking on them and pressing the delete key. 3. Use the menu on the left side of the screen to add new items How to Design your Glog: 1. Click on Wall on the menu. 2. Choose a background for the glog wall. 3. This is the inside part of the page. 4. Clicking on it once will display a preview of the background in the small window located to the right of the menu. 5. To insert a background, click the Use it! button. 6. Repeat these steps to change the page wall. This is the area outside of the glog. How to insert text: 1. Click on Text on the menu. 2. Choose a text box that fits your glog's design. 3. To insert the text, click the Use it! button

How to insert images/audio/video: 1. Click the upload icon. 2. Upload the file to glogster. For images, you can add a frame by clicking add a frame, and for audio or video, you can choose the player button by clicking add a player. How to save your glog: 1. Click save and publish button. 2. Choose classic glog from the save options. 3. Name your glog, set the category as not set, and mark the glog as private. 4. Then press save and publish. Saving your Glog: 1. Choose Classic Glog

Click on the icon
