Functional description
Three-section composite voltage block direction over-current protection This device sets up three-section over-current protection. Each has three time delays.
By setting the control word soft strap, it can be set that whether each of the protection is on or off and whether it is equipped with direction judgment( it can be set as positive or reverse), and whether it is blocked by composite voltage. Direction operating zone is -60~120when it is in positive directionsuppose U is 0the phase of I is changeable when in the opposite direction, the operating zone is the remaining 180in whichIa corresponds to UbcIb corresponds to UcaIc corresponds to Uab. Composite voltage component consists of negative sequence voltage U2(over-vlotage) and phase-to-phase low-voltage U the minimum line voltage is used .It for block over-current protection when any fault occurs. When either negative sequence voltage U2 or low-voltage U is satisfied, over-current protection can be on, otherwise, over-current protection is blocked.

The protection is only on for bus charging for a short time. When the device detects its side breaker changing from trip to close, bus charging protection will be on for a short time. When the operating condition is met, the protection will trip its side breaker after set delay. The on time can be set. When the on time is over, the bus charging protection will be off. Fig 2-7 Operation logic of Block voltage regulation 2.8 PT failure alarm The criteria of PT failure differ depending on different wiring mode. When PT failure block function is on, if PT failure occurs, the device will block the complex voltage components and current direction components. The criteria of PT failure are as follows V-V wiring mode The current of the phase with the maximum current is less than the maximum load-currentuse the load-current setting. The maximum phase-to-phase voltage is less than 30V and the maximum phase current is more than 0.1In Negative sequence voltage is more than 8V, When any of the above condition is met, the device will report PT failure after delay (settable). When the failure disappears, the alarm will return. Y-Y wiring mode The current of the phase with the maximum current is less than the maximum load-currentuse the load-current setting. When |Ua+Ub+Uc|>7V and the difference between the maximum line voltage and the minimum line voltage is more than, it is considered as one-phase or two-phase PT failure When |Ua+Ub+Uc > 7V and the minimum line voltage is less than 18Vit is used for checking two-phase failure. When MAX{UabUbcUca}<7V and the maximum phase current is more than 0.1In, its considered as PT three-phase failure. When any of the above condition is met, the device will report PT failure after delay (settable). When the failure disappears, the alarm will return.

When no DC control power supply or control system is available on site, but a 110VDC control power supply is available, a 110VDC control power supply may be used for direct connection through local hardware adjustment, or the 24V power supply of the device may be used as the input power supply (when the input common terminal is +24V, terminal number: B14, Terminal B01 is kept float). However, this must be specified upon ordering

In the diagram, KK is the traditional operation switch used for manual trip/closing operation. ZK is the shift switch used for shift between local and remote control. When ZK is in the Remote position, the remote control circuit power will be connected, i.e., Terminal A22 of the device is connected to +KM, while the manual operation circuit power will be cut off and manual closing and manual trip wont work. On the contrary, when ZK is in the Local position, the manual operation circuit power will be connected, while the remote control circuit power will be cut off. Note: In the dotted frame, there is the internal circuit of the protection device. All of our devices marked with anti-trip circuit are designed according to this operation circuit. Terminals Tn1, Tn2 corresponding to protection relay Jn are determined by the corresponding protection output control word. Jn can be any one or more of Protection outputs 1-8. Whether in local control or in remote control, jump phenomenon occurs on the premise that terminal A15 of the device is always connected with +WC. After manual or remote closing, if a short-circuit fault occurs, the protection will operate to trip the circuit breaker. Though Terminal A15 of the device is connected with +WC. The closing circuit is disconnected by TBJ1. Therefore, the circuit will not be closed again. The circuit breaker jump phenomenon can be effectively avoided in this way.
