CIRCULAR
Principals of MBA & MCA colleges under the jurisdiction of Telangana University are hereby informed that, the First Internal Assessment Examinations of I Semester for 2011-12 batch is scheduled on 7th,8th & 9th December, 2011. Time-table, Proforma of students

Attendance statement and Proforma of Award List are available at University website. The structure of marks for all courses from I Semester onwards is in 30:70 ratio for Internal Assessment and University Examination for each paper. Internal Assessment Examination(Theory) for each paper should be conducted for 30 marks which includes: Multiple choice questions Fill in the blanks Internal Seminar Total : : : : 10x1 = 10 Marks 10x1 = 10 Marks 10 Marks __________ 30 Marks __________

First Internal Assessment should be conducted preferably from I & II Units and Second Internal Assessment from remaining units in each paper. Internal Seminar should be organized by the concerned Head of the Department. Internal Seminar I on 12-12-2011 to 13-12-2011, Internal Seminar II on 30-122011 to 31-12-2011. Signature of the students should be taken in attendance statement during Internal Assessment Test of each subject and Internal Seminar. Students Attendance sheet, Answer sheets and Award list of Internal Assessment Examinations should be submitted to Controller of Examinations, Telangana University, after completion of the examination within a week without any delay. Average of two Internal Assessment examination marks obtained by the candidate will be considered for recording in memorandum of marks. The Minimum pass marks shall be 40% of the Maximum marks of Internal Assessment examination in each subject respectively.

No Internal Assessment re-examination will be conducted for absentees. The Minimum pass marks shall be 40% of the Maximum marks of the University examination in each subject respectively. Of the total allotted marks for Practical paper, in each subject, 30 percent marks is for Internal Assessment and 70 percent marks for University practical examination. (Internal Assessment test in practicals comprises of Practical Assignment assigned to the student by the concerned teacher) Final Semester Project Report (Major) of the concerned subjects should be submitted to the Examination Branch.

Hence all Principals of Post Graduate colleges are requested to extend highest priority to this issue and cooperate fully with the Examination Branch in the interest of the students of your respective colleges.
