ABOUT DANR The Dominican American National Roundtable (DANR) is a non-partisan, 501 (c) (3) membership organization established in 1997 to advance the educational, economic, legal, social, and political interests of over 2 million Dominicans residing in the United States, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands. DANR is involved in a number of projects designed to empower Dominicans in the US: a summer youth fellowship program; a national council composed of 120 local chapters in the U.S.; redistricting and citizenship projects, a national voter registration drive; and among other initiatives, partnerships between small Dominican-owned businesses, international enterprises and community based organizations. About DAN-R To educate the nations diverse communities in the redistricting process, the Dominican American National Roundtable has launched the Dominican American National Redistricting Project (DAN-R), a national initiative seeking to engage Dominican, Latino and minority communities in the United States in the Redistricting-Appropriation Process with the objective of achieving adequate representation one person-one vote. The Project provides education and technical assistance to the Dominican American and Latino Leadership, and has partnered with organizations and communities across the United States to guarantee a fair redistricting process.
