Truth has never gone down one's throat sweetly. Truth is always considered bitte r and has been.

Whether its the truth about a student failing in his test or one losing his dear ones, truth always has surprised if not angered and shocked. I firmly believe that truth has always questioned humans an d will continue to do so. I support my views from the examples of copernicus, Fourier and Tiger woods. People always believed that Earth was at the center and others revolved round it including sun. It was even a religious belief and was considered sacred. But copernicus who was fascin ated by the planets didnt just let it at there and researched on the topic. He observed the planet and there mo tion and was surprised that the the motion of earth was in no way affecting the motion of other planets leave al one sun. He made much more studies and concluded that it was not the earth but the sun which was at the cen ter of the solar system. When he proposed this he was widely critised by the church of the times and was finally beheaded for going against religion. But today we know that sun is at the center and truth is earth revolves round it. Now consider the case of Fourier. One of the greatest mathematicians the world h as ever seen, he didnt know himself then his work would solve the problem of aero dynamics of a plane, or problems o n simple harmonic motion. Fourier was constantly involved in politics and was the right hand of Napolean. When he was posted as the head for invasion in germany he went in for conquering. At this time the lust fo r maths in his mind started taking shape and he started analysing the propogation of heat in solids. He came up wit h an wonderful idea of represeting the motion with a single equation. When he sent his theory to the society of mat hematics in Britain headed by great mathematicians like Legendre and Laplace, it was flatly rejected as a humor. In this thought he constantly thought and met his death. But 10 years later a group of meritorius students read his works they realised there was much more to it than it appeared and read to depth. They finally agreed that wave motion c an indeed be represented by a single wave equation. By then Fourier was long well into heaven. We shall look at a more recent one and the one which caused quite a sensation ar ound the world was the fact that Tiger Woods had extramartial affair!! The flamboyent yet one of the best golfers of all time and the number 1 in the world had an affair outside marriage!! No one could believe it at first including his wife. B ut as the women who slept with woods came forward one by one and the truth settled with woods not challenging a nything it was out there openly for everyone to see. It was unbelievable. The iconic player, the inspiration for mil lions around the world the god for golfers had failed them (though i believe that it was more belief of people than anything to do with woods that failed them). Tiger woods finally appeared on TV and confirmed that it was all true. No one could imagine he could have done such a thing. We see that right through the history truth has not been spoken and the few who

chose to speak have met their perils. Humans by their very nature are egoistic and assuming. We dont like being challe nged or proved wrong.When we are done so we dont leave those who challenged. Truth has always stood tested of times. It h as just been the wisdom of people that has not yet evolved to digest it.
