I was fond of watching movies but I never watched a type of movie like this before.

I never expected that this movie will touch my heart. At first, I thought it was boring because of the title but as the movie goes on, it made me sit still on my chair that I dont want to miss any scene of it. I can see it from both sides of the fence. On one hand, a father should be willing to do anything to save his child's life. It shows that parents love is absolute. It also proves that parents will do anything for the sake of their child. We should all be thankful for our parents, because of their unending love and sacrifices just for our sake. But on the other hand, he should not endanger others to do so. On one hand, hospitals should not charge so freaking much for some services. I never thought that the most powerful and rich country in the world had this kind of awful health services to their people. It seems like those who dont have money will be served last and those who have lots of money will always be first. But on the other hand, medical expertise & equipment is undeniably expensive. We cant blame them for their slow assistance on Michaels illness, money is needed and unfortunately, they dont have enough. John as a father did everything to save his son. As his sons condition became worse, he was able to do things he never thought he would do. Maybe because of being desperate, John was forced to hostage hospital people and patients as well. He just wanted a reform in the states health services but still his way of communicating is inappropriate. The movie help me realized how important my life is. Sometimes, or should I say most of the time, we abuse our self. We didnt even realize to take care of it or to give it a break. We should not take our health or life for granted. Maybe we can feel physically healthy, but who knows? Possibly we can be Michael. And I dont want that to happen! Moreover, if I am in John Qs situation, I would also react the same way John did for its my sons life in risk. Who knows I may even do worse things. I just felt sad on Johns fate in the end. But the law people just did what is right. He violated the law and he should pay for his lifethreatening action. Still, the ending made me very happy. Michael recovered from his illness and I think John is still very happy to see his son alive even though hes on jail. At first, I was confused about what is the connection between John Q and that car crash at the beginning of the film. The girls heart was indeed a great gift for Johns son. And to end this, I just want to give the film a round of applause. It showed a great fathers love, the government in taking actions, the health care team in their services and how miracles can actually save lives.
