Dear Parents/Carers
On Monday the Power of One Theatre Group presented a fantastic production to the children which reinforced the themes we have been exploring through our SEAL Unit Say no to bullying. Thank you to all families who donated towards the cost of this visit. It really was a valuable experience. Please look out for our Oath Board in school. Sadly today we said our farewells to Sue thanking her for all her hard work over 28 years and sending her our best wishes for a happy retirement.

CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN THE BENEFICE OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

If you popped in to school at the beginning of term you would have seen the boxes mounting daily ready for collection by Ann Jerome on behalf of Operation Christmas Child. We did manage a quick count and in excess of 55 were collected from St Christophers! The boxes have now begun their journey please see Anns letter below. Join us this Christmas time to celebrate the great news that God is with us in his Son Jesus Christ. Below are Family Friendly services across our villages this Christmas.

Dear All Our boxes have all gone now and only 5 came in after Friday! They have gone to Belarus, Liberia, Ukraine and Serbia. The final total is 1255. Please convey thanks to anyone who helped in any way. In these times of economic hardship that's an incredible total and 1255 children who will experience the joy of Christmas this year. Please encourage people to start collecting gifts for next year - you could start with the cracker gifts. Thank you all Happy Christmas! Ann

PARKING & THE SCHOOL BUS

It has been necessary again to bring to your attention and remind everyone to respect our neighbours when parking near the school. From time to time we do receive complaints please help us keep this to a minimum by not blocking drives and gateways. As the roads to and from school are narrow, please do also ensure that the road access and the zig zag lines in front of the school are kept clear to enable the school bus to arrive and depart school safely. Thank you for your co-operation.
