But, in recent, from the secondary data analysis, it has been observed that employee turnover in Incepta is increasing day by day. Some employees may be somewhat dissatisfied.

1.3 Problem Definition

To assess the level of Employee Satisfaction in Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

1.4 Objectives
To identify the independent variables responsible for employee dissatisfaction To determine relative magnitude of the causative independent variables

CHAPTER 2: APPROACHES TO THE PROBLEM

From the secondary data analysis, it has been observed that employee turnover in Incepta is increasing day by day. An exploratory type research has been conducted to indentify the factors that have the most significant impacts on employee satisfaction, which includes qualitative investigation like, discussion with some senior employees, first line managers and top management. Thus I have isolated eight key variables and relationships for further examination from the exploratory research. Bearing these in mind, the research tried to find out the answers of the following questions What are the factors employees take under consideration to be satisfied? What is the rank order the factors involved in employee satisfaction?

Answers of these questions construct the overall research design. Details of the research design are given in the following section.

CHAPTER 3: RESEARCH DESIGN

Research Design:
Under this heading there are details of the research design including- type of research design, necessary information, Collection of secondary data, Collection of primary Data, Scaling technique, Questionnaire development, Sampling technique, Fieldwork etc. which I will try to use to conduct this research.

3.1 Type of Research

Through exploratory research I have already identified the problem employee dissatisfaction. So, the problem was already identified. Just the factors needed to be studied to measure their relative magnitudes for creating the problem. Thus I thought that descriptive research, particularly survey method will be the most appropriate research design and it will be carried out.

3.2 Information needed

Here the information regarding the factors employees consider most for their satisfaction is needed and analyzed.

3.3 Data collection from secondary sources

Secondary data was collected from the Human Resource Department of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd in order to conduct the exploratory research.

3.4 Data collection from primary sources

To maintain this research project survey method was followed. In this case employees of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd were the respondents. A structured questionnaire was

prepared to survey the feelings or thought of the respondents about different factors involved with their satisfaction level with Incepta. In these questionnaires a limited, explicit alternatives were provided from which the respondents answered according to their thought.

3.5 Scaling technique

In this questionnaire a set of response categories were involved. Respondents were asked to identify the state of agreement/disagreement against each of the statement. For scaling purpose Itemized Rating Scale, a subgroup of Noncomparative scales was taken under consideration. Specifically a 9 point Likert scale has been used to measure. In case of conducting the report the scaling technique was as follows*For positive or favorable statement: 1 means the respondent was extremely disagree with the statement and 9 means that the respondent was extremely agree with the statement. *For negative or unfavorable statement: 9 means the respondent was extremely disagree with the statement and 1 means that the respondent was extremely agree with the statement. Thus the total score was put into the SPSS for further analysis.

3.6 Questionnaire development

The development of the questionnaire was done taking different aspects under consideration. Different questions depending on different aspects were asked to the respondents to get the expression regarding their extent of agreement and disagreement toward the preset statement.

The respondents were asked the questions. For the development of questionnaire the guidelines was maintained like no ambiguous words were used, ordinary words were used, researcher explained clearly the intention of the survey etc. In most of the cases 15 to 20 minutes were taken to complete the interviewing task.

3.7 Sampling technique

In this research the target people that mean the target respondents were employees of Incepta Pharma. The sample size was 30. As the sample size was very small regarding the size of the population (employees) so it was not necessary to use random sampling techniques. A mix of convenience and judgmental sampling was performed to select the sample for this research. The respondents were selected from different departments. For the simplicity of calculation and getting more Accurate results respondents were selected from different levels of designations and from various departments.

3.8 Fieldwork
I was personally involved to conduct the survey among the employees of various positions working under different departments of Incepta Pharma. Thus I think the information which I collected is relevant to the topic.
