Dragonfly Wind Turbine 3 Times The Power Of Regular One?

The general consciences, based on testing with props, was the air would create a bottle neck and collapse back in on itself. This back flow would be little pockets of air creating a back wash and stalling the entire prop system. As you can see this is not an issue for Dragonfly anywhere in this design! The air flows seamlessly through the entire system. Why because Dragonfly design is based on true turbine technology not propellers.

There is a fundamental flaw in every wind turbine today. None of them actually Speed Up the air. All of them base their functionality on relative wind speed and can only produce energy if the wind is blowing. You will soon discover this is not the case for Dragonfly Wind Turbines.

The first CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamics) test results were created by an independent group SolidWorks to show how smooth the aerodynamics are inside Dragonfly and how much faster the blades spin at the 3 energy power cores. In the graphic above it displays the 3 Power Cores are harnessing the full impact of a 200mph wind. The very nature of its INNER wing design increases the air speed to create more power, not once, like most wind turbines today but 3 times more power. Shrouded systems , as they are commonly called, are not new but no one took idea far enough to worked out the problems to discover their full potential. These problems include 1. They used standard air plane props to capture the air. 2. Past designs merely focus the wind through the props system and did not harness the winds full potential. 3. Props were not created to Capture wind! They were created for powered flight! 4. All of the tube shaped designs did not explore harnessing the wind in layers, using a Fluid Velocity Profiles to channel more air into secondary systems. 5. The results most commonly associated with their failures was Cavitation! Extremely turbulent air from the propeller wash. This issue was always created in a single close looped chamber using a prop system for testing. 6. All of them still have a speed limitation because prop systems only turn so fast before they loose their aerodynamic function and exceed the envelope of there performance. As a result you will see more accidents today as larger wind turbines fail in winds speeds above 55 mph. This also means that any Level 1 Hurricane could wipe out most, if not all the current wind turbines today! Take a look at other concepts and you see why none of them worked out (Shroud systems) Dragonfly is built like a Jet Engine and brings its own solutions to all the past issues listed above. Ironically, as the air passes through Dragonfly the relative speed of the air stream slows down and becomes more manageable. Once it hits the apex of the camber wing inside each spinning blade the air quickly accelerates (shown in Yellow). Current wind turbine systems extract less then 50% of the winds energy and work only 33% of the time! The proof here is that Dragonfly can extract over 90% of the winds energy 3 times over 100% of the time. Look again at the power produced at the Tail of Dragonfly and compare to the chart. The red lines indicate all the power of the winds (200 mph) energy is being harnessed, 3 layers back! Based on this test results Dragonfly destroys Betz Law. Proving once and for all that you can extract more then 59% of the winds power with the right design for a wind turbine. Im sure he based his information on propeller systems and not the Jet turbine technology we understand today. With Dragonfly you can get, 90 100% of the winds true power.
