The Napa Chambers Annual Dinner and Awards event offers a point in time for the Napa Chamber to show appreciation to you, our membership; to update you on the Chambers accomplishments and strategic vision; and for you to help us honor those significant contributors who routinely go above and beyond to support building a strong local economy and ensure that Napa is a healthy, prosperous and inclusive community. Breathe, Balance, and Bold are terms typically used in evaluating wine vintages and reflect the industry of our incoming Chair, Debra Dommen from Treasury Wine Estates. In 2011 our economy experienced a year similar to our 2011 harvest... the kind of year that tests nerves, skill and the capacity to deal with conditions out of your control and find ways to be creative and sustainable. We took a deep breath and worked more with our networks, managed more with less and reflected on fundamentals. Balance brought a process of harvesting the good out of challenges and reconnecting with whats important. The boundaries have been stretched and they wont go back to the old shape, so we must take what weve learned and boldly move forward, thriving as a community.

Tues. February 14th, 2012 Check-In: 7:45 a.m. Workshop: 8 a.m. -12 p.m. - Napa Chamber, 1556 First Street, Napa, CA 94559
This first session will be geared towards understanding the Path Elements Profile tool and how it can be used with teams, departments and with clients. This powerful tool gives leaders and those they lead a positive language with which to put the behaviors they observe in themselves others into context. An understanding of the hard-wiring of team members can be used to assign tasks and uncover the source of conflict between individuals. The Path Elements Profile, (which you will take prior to meeting) uses the highly visual and easily remembered elements of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. You will identify the leadership strengths and challenges, work tendencies, and communication styles that go with each element.

Exemplary Leadership and Authentic Teamwork for Outstanding Results

Tues. March 13th, 2012

This second session will be geared toward assisting leaders in becoming more confident and effective (generating positive results) in their leadership role. Participants will identify a personal leadership challenge and one or more specific results they desire. They will be guided through a series of processes to assist them in implementing the principles of exemplary leadership and Authentic Teamwork and gain a solid understanding of the specific steps one needs to take to become an exemplary leader on the path to creating a high performing team.
