poor community by providing the latest medical treatment. The issue was the discussed in details in the meeting of general body as well as prominent figures of the target areas. In the light of this decision, Dar-ulShifa charitable family hospital is being established in Mauza Pahoor at Adda Ghazi Wala on the main old Shuja-Abad Road, Sher Shah Town, Tehsil & District Multan at a total cost of Rs.4610.812 million. The proposed hospital is located 30 kilometer in South of Multan. ShujaAbad city is 13 kilometer in south of the project site. The hospital is situated on the boundary line of the two tehsils Multan and Shuja-Abad. Ground floor of the hospital has been constructed at a cost of Rs.45.463 million which include cost of land, map, service and approval charges /fee etc. Remaining amount of Rs.4,565.349 million is required to complete the hospital as per plan with latest facilities and equipments. The project area is economically very poor and least developed with high pressure of population. In health sector, the condition of the people is extremely miserable. There is one Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Union Council Khokhar (Tehsil Multan) which provides only cosmetic services. If the doctor is available, the medicines are not available. This has pushed the poor people in backwardness. The majority of the population helplessly goes to the Hakims, Quacks, & Pears who make the people fool by false/ imitation medicines contrary to the treatment of their disease. On other side, the private qualified doctors are completely unavailable in the target area. The construction work of the hospital has been completed at the lintels level of the ground floor. The total covered area of Ground floor of building of hospital is 7699 Sqft. This proposed project will provide all kinds of health facilities. A specification of building of hospital is as follows:
