All the praise belongs to Allah the owner of virtue and beneficence. He bestows upon
whomever He wills to be guided to Emaan [i.e. true faith]. I bear testimony that none
has the right to be worshipped in truth except for Allah alone who has no partners, and I
bear testimony that Muhammad is Allah's servant and final messenger.
Allah has sent him with guidance and the right religion before the coming of the last
hour as a bearer of good news [to the believers] and Warner of punishment [to the
disbelievers] calling to Allah's religion like Siraaj Muneer [i.e. a radiant lamp] by His
permission, Peace and abundant prayers (of Allah) be upon him, his family and his
companions.

As for which follows:
O Mankind, have Taqwaa of Allah [i.e. fear and piety] and know that the most
monumental blessing granted to the servant is Allah's guidance to Emaan [i.e. true faith].
So ask Allah that He makes beloved to you Emaan, beautifying it within your hearts,
making detestable Disbelief, rebellion and disobedience in your hearts.
Verily Emaan is not with adornment [i.e. beautifying speech and action] and wishing;
rather it is what settles in the hearts, confirming it with actions. Emaan is a statement of
the tongue, a conviction of the heart, an action of the body partsincreasing with
obedience (to Allah) and decreasing with disobedience (to Allah).

Emaan's pillars and its branches

Emaan has six pillars, they are: Belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers,
the Last Day and the Qadr [i.e. the decree good and the bad]. Emaan has signs they are
seventy some odd branches its most lofty branch is the statement of Laa Ilah Illa Allah
[i.e none has the right to be worshipped in truth except Allah]; its lowest branch is
removing harm from the pathwayal Haya' [Shyness/timid] is a branch for Emaan.
Allah announces to the people of Emaan in many verses of the Qur'an, commanding
them and prohibiting them (from evil) due to what their Emaan calls them to do in
fulfilling the commands and staying away from the prohibitions.
So he who says with his tongue that verily he is a believer; however he does nothing of
which Allah has commanded him with and nor stays away from what Allah has
prohibited him from is a lair (rejecting) his own claim of Emaan [i.e. true faith], Allah
says:

Verily Emaan springs the person towards doing righteous deeds and having praiseworthy
characteristics, Allah says:

Emaan mends the deeds making them acceptable before Allah, He says:

And on the other hand, the deeds that are not accepted are due to the lack of Emaan
no matter how abundant the deeds are, Allah says:

The people of Emaan are those who settle the disputes and their differences among
themselves by taking them the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His messenger:

As for the people of disbelieve and hypocrisy, then verily they turn away from Allah and
His messenger's rulings, refusing to arbitrate by itthey desire to take arbitration to
their Tawageet [i.e. false judges] and man-made laws, Allah says regarding them:

Emaan without any action

O servants of Allah:
Verily in our present time you have those individuals who want Emaan by name only
they desire for Emaan without any action, Emaan without Prayer, without Zakaat [i.e.
alms], without Fasting or without Hajj. Rather they want to have Emaan without
Tawheed, without 'Aqeedah. They want Emaan by worshipping the graves, making
sacrifices to them, worshipping 'Awliyaah [i.e. friends and protectors] and the
Righteous.
They want Emaan alongside making arbitration by man-made laws and Tawageet in
settling disputes and arguments; although it is incumbent upon them to verify Emaan by
Kufr [i.e. disbelieving] in the Taa'goot, Allah says:

"Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in "Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. It is incumbent upon him in order to have sound worship is to disbelieve in the
Tawageet, Allah says:

Disobedience diminishes Emaan
O servants of Allah:
There are lesser forms of disobedience that doesn't nullify Emaan; yet in doing so it
diminishes (Emaan) and weakens it. So it is an obligation upon the believer to stay away
from the rest of the forms of disobedience in order to preserve his Emaan.
Thus he.
Should not be deceptive in his dealings.
Nor should he act immoral in argumentation and disputes.
Or lie in his speech.
Nor break promises.
Nor should he breach the trusts.
Nor should he double-cross in his oaths.
Nor backbite.
Nor be busy with tale-carrying.
He should avoid earnings from unlawful sources.
He shouldn't consume Riba' [i.e. usury].
He shouldn't take bribes.
Nor consume the orphan's wealth to be elevated in the Dunya'.
So he shouldn't scold or curse.
So it isn't the believer to discredit, curse, be vile or be obscene.

Emaan among brethren/sisters

It is obligatory upon him to love for his believing brother what he loves for himself,
mending the (differences) between them in application to the statement of Allah:
_

Feeling the pain of his fellow believing brethren is in application of the statement of the
prophet:

"The example of the believers regarding mutually showing
affection and compassion (to one another) is just like one body
when a body part complains/bothered (i.e. from an illness or
hurting) the rest of the body is afflicted with insomnia and fever."

Emaan in times of ease & hardship

And among the characteristics of the believers is gratitude in times of ease and patience
in circumstances hardship, the prophet:

"Astonishing is the affair of the believer indeed all of his affairs
are good to him and that is not the case for any individual except
for the believer. When ease comes to him he shows gratitude

Emaan is elevated by obedience
O believer:
Just as acts of disobedience diminishes and weakens Emaan, then verily obedience
elevates and strengthens Emaan. Allah says:

Thus Emaan elevates by way of reciting the Qur'an, by doing acts of obedience, sitting
among the righteous and by mentioning Allah [i.e. Dhikr]. Allah says:

Emaan and will raise your level.
