OUT CAMPUS LEARNING Mode of study By Abdul Halim Abdul Manaf

Out-campus learning is a flexible mode of study where the students are required to attend the classes occasionally. One of the advantage as the out campus students, they could have a fulltime job as they do not have to attend the classes daily. The disadvantage of the out campus students is they require a large amount of self-motivation and discipline. It is easy to get distracted, so they must have good time management and organisational skills. In my opinion, the distance learners were more motivated, better organized, disciplined and able to manage time better. Majority of the out campus students had a good

grasp of the subjects they were studying and had less difficulty making sense of new information. The out campus students should be exposed to information technology such as internet where they can obtained so much information to enhance their skills and knowledge.
