This is a partial list of clubs that international students may join. The following information was collected from questionnaires that were sent to all officially registered clubs at Waseda University. If you are interested in joining a club, please contact the club directly. Clubs are a great way to make friends and to learn more about Japanese culture. Take advantage of this golden opportunity!

The club organizes and runs the Rikoten (Science and Engineering Exhibition), which is scheduled for the first week of November. The 2010 academic year marks the 57th Rikoten , the exhibition officially authorized by the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The club consists of about 100 members who are the second- and the third-year students. In addition to a designated monthly meeting in which all the club members meet for discussion and activities, the club meets regularly at lunch Rikoten Liaison 0332082544 time. The club also meets regularly prior to the Rikoten to prepare for the Group 11_info@rikoten.com exhibition. Members are also assigned to work on each genre of clubs. Furthermore, the club strives to contribute to society by actively providing science education and offering events for locals such as "Unilab", or Science Laboratory hosted by Faculty of Science and Engineering for elementary/junior high school students, and "Eco-summer Festival" hosted by shops and restaurants around the University.

We practice three times a week. We also participate in many matches and lodging for training during long-term holidays such as summer vacation. The team aspires to achieve its goal to become the best succer club in Japan. The club, which also hosts various events, is a fun and strong succer club.

A club that explores Kanze style of Noh , a classic Japanese performing art. Asian Law Students' Association

Asian Law Students' Association, consists of law students from eleven Asian nations and regions, is Asia's largest student organization on international law. Major activities include discussions and debates on legal issues, in addition to performing mock trials and implementing workshop sessions as part of activities upon the club's lodging events.

Archaeology Workshop

Each member explores a field or a region of his/her interest, and makes a presentation about findings at workshop. Our interest is not fixed upon archaeology alone; rather, we approach archaeology as a way to interpret various aspects of history. We occasionally visit museums outside the University as part of our activities.

Orienteering Club

Orienteering is the sport of navigation with map and compass (Foot-O). This club participates in the International Moot Court Competition regarding public international law. Participating teams are evaluated on their preparation of documents and execution of oral arguments. The best team in Japan goes on to the international competition. We train at the training gym on the second floor in the basement of Waseda University Student Center. Members train whenever they want to. Participation to the alumni general meeting in June; however, is a must. Members are also urged to participate in the intensive lodging training and the last meetings held at the end of the first and second terms, respectively. Nabe no kai(Pot club)is a casual outdoor club. Once a week, we go to the surburbs of Tokyo, and enjoy some outdoor cooking using seasonal wild greens as ingredients.

We are an International Exchange Student Organization that facilitates opportunities to make friends and acquaintances and enhances ties and friendship through the understanding of each other's culture. We have members from around the world, and sharing one's culture and showing one's identity is our motto.
