FIVE THINGS I LIKE IN HISTORY Since high school, history takes a big part of my mind.

This is one of my favorite topics when it comes to Social Study subjects. History encourages me to revisit what is in the past; the amazing events, controversies, discoveries, and things that contributed to the improvement of todays society and life. I have five likes about history: One, I like the series of events mentioned and discussed in history like the 1896 Philippine Revolution and World War II. It helps me to realize what are the true stories and ideas behind those events; what is the reason of conflicts between different countries, why the Roman Empire government was fall down, and many more. I feel Im coming back in the past and witnessing or experiencing the events that change the ideologies and aspects of the humanity in their lives, customs and traditions. Two, history tackles the early civilizations in the world. This one is the most I liked because I enlightened how the different technologies, cultures and traditions built and preserved by the early peoples, for example, the hieroglyphics of Egyptian Civilization. It contributes a big improvement in the field of writing and communicating with other peoples in the different parts of the world. Three, I like the persons that contributed much fame and power in the series of events that happened, for example, King Tut of Egypt. At his very young age, he became a powerful person in Egypt. Another example is Andres Bonifacio. He leads the Philippine people to revolt against the tyranny and imperialism status of our country. We are not able to know their life stories and contributions without History. Four, history revives the happenings in the past and relive them at the present time. This will guide and teach us to become aware of our past. As one saying, Ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan, hindi makararating sa paroroonan. I strongly believe in this saying. The history teaches and guides us to the paths of truthfulness and conciseness. A man who knows his history will continue to pursue and fulfill his dreams. Lastly, I liked that history corrects the misconceptions in our generation and fill it with facts and concise ideas. Without history, we are all dumb. No one will enlighten us to the truth and ideas that changed the traditions, culture, and religion aspects of the humanity.

I want to protect the rights of every citizen especially the farmers, and give them a true and genuine reform in the agricultural sector.
