Drawing Pencils & Pencil Sharpener Watercolor Pencils & Regular Colored Pencils +1 White Prismacolor Watercolor brushes & Container to hold water Kneaded Eraser & White Rubber/Plastic Eraser Mix-Media Sketchbook: 9 x 12 Spiral Bound by Canson Tracing paper: 9"x12" pad or roll Dish to hold wet floral oasis & Roll Viva Paper Towels

Additional Items that we will discuss in the first class:

Masquepen: The Masquepen is an applicator of translucent masking fluid with a nylon .8 nib. Masking Fluid & Inexpensive Brush (for detail work) A film canister: To hold a small amount of liquid dish detergent or a small tub of the Masters brush cleaner. 1 Sheet of your preferred watercolor working surface/paper: We will be we will be experimenting in class with some new substrates and creating a paper swatch sampler to help with your paper choice. I recommend that you wait to purchase your paper for your final project. Botanical Subject: You will be composing and creating a unique portrait of a botanical subject of your choice Optional items (only) if you choose to work with ink: Prismacolor Markers .005/.05 with black waterproof ink or Koh-i-noor Technical Pens 2x0/0 filled with 3085F Ultradraw Black Waterproof ink, embossing tool
