Unit 3B and Unit 6B of Biology, Chemistry and Physics contains a written examination which is offered as an international alternative to internal assessment.

# Mathematics units (Core Mathematics, Mechanics, Statistics, Decision Mathematics and Further Pure Mathematics) scheduled for the same session will be examined consecutively. Please note the commencing time on the Admission Form. The pre-release material for Biology (unit 6BI05) will be given to candidates one month before the examination date of 22 June 2012 through schools (school candidates) / by post (private candidates). The pre-release material for Geography (units 6GE03 & 6GE04) will be given to candidates four working weeks before the examination through schools (school candidates) / by post (private candidates). The GCE Chinese Unit 1 (6CN01) Speaking Tests will be held in mid-April 2012. Candidates will be notified of the examination dates, time and venues through schools (school candidates) / by mail (private candidates) in late March 2012.

CAUTION: DON'T TAKE A SUBJECT AT MORE THAN ONE SYLLABUS WITH THE SAME TITLE.
