To give students adequate materials and tools to improve their knowledge about United States. MATERIALS: pictures, vocabulary. III. MAIN AIMS: Encourage students to involve about the culture of U.S.A country, through activities which they are going to practice writing, speaking, listening and reading skills. PROCEDURES STAGE ACTIVITIES Teacher greets students; teacher starts the class with a funny activity in this activity, students have to select a partner, then they descript their clothes. Then teacher checks descriptions about typical clothing of U.S.A. Suggesting them, how to correct their descriptions. Students have to improve their papers in order to present them again. Then, Students select their clothes giving the information to their partners about what they are going to wear in the final presentation. Each one selects a partner. They write their final descriptions, all time teacher checks and Suggests them, how to correct their descriptions. Students present again their papers and the teacher helps them with the pronunciation and intonation, about how they should present the fashion, their attitude. She picks up their papers. 2) AIMS MAIN AIM: Students will know about typical dances in the United States of America. PERSONAL AIM: * To provide students historical info about typical dances in the United States of America. * To create a story in order to construct western choreography. * To show student How to do basic western dancing steps. MATERIALS: Slides, copies, Board, Marker, Eraser, recorder, cds. Stage Activities
- Teacher will greet students and ask what they found about typical dance. - Teacher will show the students slides with three significant dances in United States. Teacher will focus on one of them and show what is the western dance about, what are the costumes, basic steps, appropiate posture for dancing western and students will participate answering questions related to the presentation and perform some instruction, teacher will be a guide during the activity . - Teacher will give them a copy which they will read in couples in order to offer them historical information related to Western. Then the teacher and the students will socialize the copy. - Students will use the previous knowledge in order to write a short story which - Will be used for creating the Western choreography.

STANDARD: escribo resmenes e informes que demuestran mi conocimiento sobre temas de otras disciplinas. Opino sobre los estilos de vida de la gente otras culturas apoyndome en textos escritos y orales previamente estudiados. MATERIALS: power point presentation about typical food VI. PROCEDURES STAGE Introduction ACTIVITIES Teacher is going to review students homework about USA typical food and students read their homework.
Then teacher is going to present a power point presentation in order to introduce more information about USA typical food, during the presentation teacher will ask some questions about the slides and students will read some slides. Then students have to write which typical food they like the most and why. And answer some questions about the slides.

Ss will have time to prepare what they are going to say during the video. Teacher is going to review their speech and give some suggestions.

Stage Activities - Organize the group of the S which the T is going to work in order to say hello to them and in this way start to have a good relationship to them, all this with the intention to develop an excellent work. - Stat a conversation with the students in which the T is going to realize some questions about this country like; when is the independents day? What is the actual president? What are some important places to visit? What is it currently money? In order to know how much the students know about this country. - Then the T is going to start socialization with the information they already have, and through this the T is going to show them a slides with intention to explain and reinforce their information. - Thought the slides the S are going to read some information and socialize between them. - .S start to write a short composition in which they are going to say some important aspects about this country, if the S cannot finish this they are going to finish it in the next class, during the writing process the T is going to help them making some corrections in the text.

Stage Activities - The T is going to ask the S for the previous homework in order to read it and review with the intention to make some corrections if is necessary. - Before the review the S are going to rewrite the text correcting the mistakes they made. - In order to have a better text and improve it the T is going to give the S a group of texts with some information about the country in which they can find information like, the currently money, some presidents, history and culture. - S has to read the information and socialize between them and then make a kind of report in which they are going to say what they have read. - .S are going to continue writing the text now based on the copies that the teacher gave them with the intention to have a better final text. - They will continue writing the text at home and bring for the next class.

Stage Activities - The first thing the T is going to do is to ask the S to give him/her the text in order to read and correct it, while the T is doing this the S are to continue reading the copies in order to improve the text. - As the time is to short the T is going to help the S to write the final text giving to them some important points about it. - Now with the final and a short text, that is so simple and summarize the S are going to read and try to say it in a normal way. - As the S has to say the text without reading they are going to try to read and improving their pronunciation, the T clarified that their pronunciation is so good and clear with some lacks but good.

The Final Text: United States of America is a big country with Fifty one States, his Independent Day is on July 4, his more memorial presidents are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and the last one president of this country is Barack Obama. This Nation as our, Colombia has some important dates like New Years Day, St Valentines Day, Halloween and Christmas Day. USA has beautiful places and parks to visit like The White House in Washington, The National Mall and Memorial Park in Washington too, and The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. His Currency money is a Dollar, a cent and a penny. This is a multicultural country with a big variety of cultures from different parts of the world, in the same way his typical food, clothes and music has a wide variety.
