MACROTEACHING REFLECTION STRENGTH

The first strength identified in this presentation is that it has raised interest in students, particularly during induction set. Pupils are too excited and wondered what is in the ' Mystery Box . Using Powerpoint with pictures, sounds and colours get their attention and they showed strong interest to participate themselves by providing the name of animals and it sounds correctly. During group activity, I see the pupils involvement and cooperation are very good .When pictures shown , they answers correctly, I can see the joy and satisfaction shown at their faces. Also,questions asked have been answered accurately, proving that they have understood the lesson.I also feel very satisfied because the pupils can enjoy and very appreciate in this lesson .Their have learnt and achieved the objectives for the topic being taught that day. The second strength is the clarity of voice throwing in providing direction and delivery in P n P play important role as a clear and concise directions to facilitate the pupils understand what to do and how the activity should be conducted. . Next, they are doing group activities correctly without making any mistakes and learnt new knowledge in that the day. The third strength is the volume of voice. Pupils can hear clearly and it really helps them to understand more.It also showed firmness in the delivery . This makes pupils more focused and reduce other things such as chatting with their friends.When, questions asked, they can hear clearly and understand what is required by the question. They can answer correctly and show understanding of what is presented as well as makes them more respect for teachers

WEAKNESSES

First identified weaknesses in the implementation of the teaching assignment is the use of vocabulary.While this makroteaching recording was done, I found errors in saying few words in the presentation. This was happened when I gave them explanation or ask them question, I mentioned that there were words that pronounced wrong without I realized. Things like this must to be corrected immediately so that students do not learn the wrong things and continue to lead the offense in the future. That's why I quickly correct the mistakes . This factor arises as a result influenced by Malay and readings will be taken seriously and be more careful in presenting a skill to the students later. The second weakness is in terms of monitoring the P n P in the class.While process is running, Ill just stand infront of the class and less concentrated on the back . The arrangement of their position would make their position more narrow and difficult for me reach them. Using Powerpoint make me has to stand close to a laptop and manage it. This was also the factors that I cannot monitor the activities in every corner of the classroom. Sometimes they talked and less focus in the teaching and learning is process. By spending a little time to comment on them, P n P continue without a problem again. Teachers need to stress on disipline and manners, especially respect for their teacher. always disciplined, maintain decency and respect their teachers and receive blessings in the study.

The third weakness is, the accuracy of teachers according to the specified time. Accuracy is very important to ensure that the P n P to be going smoothly. Comparison based on recordings and daily lesson plans (RPH) has been made, that the time used to carry a measure of teaching because there is not togethe, disorders and other things that cause a longer time taken to do something else .However, the entire teaching is not very much affected and can be done well. HOW TO OVERCOME

For the first problem, I need to make arrangements early enough to prevent the same thing happened again.I should be more alert and focused while performing P n P.Reading and pronounciation of words and references are very important because it is a step for students to know the name, sounds, places, st other things for the animals concerned, especially for Year 2 pupils who just starts their second year learning english.Every animals have it sound ,own name and needs to be emphasized in the P n P. When introducing new vocabulary, if teachers are wrong in pronunciation, The mistakes will continue and to the next level. Secondary education students be ridiculed because saying wrong the word and feel ashamed ,inferior and less interested in the subject cause it .As a teacher, reference in the reading is very important that why if the teacher read or pronounce wrong word, he'll have to give a correction to the students on the spot. The second problem, I should run and monitor each student activities., All LCD and projector with the remote control. Using the remote control may be less I was in front of the class. Only need to press the button on the device while walking along and watch the students at the back. Displayed slides can be converted from a distance where I was.With this way, I can control the situation more effective.In the classroom, teacher should help students get close too him during the activities and it more easily to identify the weaknesses among the students through observation.By doing this,teacher can provide tutoring to students who are weak and they can also interact with teacher easily and ask questions about what they are unfamiliar. For the third problem, the P n P set is that we are not consumed with RPH.Time to move out from the class.This element that should be considered by teacher in each P n P. By taking the time available, teachers need to think what kind of ABM, instructional materials that can be used and according to the level of his students. Method of teaching is something that can be determined by teacher are important and flxibel.Students can learn more and achieve the objectives for the lesson .Therefore, teachers should be wise to plan their P n P so that students can acquire skills in a timely manner.
