Simply stated, streaming refers to the process of delivering audio and video clips or other digital media files such as text, images and animations in real-time to online users. With streaming, users can play an audio or video file as soon as their computers have received the initial part of the file from the streaming server. The user keeps playing the file while the remaining parts are downloaded. For example, a student can start listening and/or viewing an hour lecture over the network almost instantly if it is delivered via a streaming server. With no streaming, the students need to download the entire file before they can play it back on their computers. Streaming can be live or non-live. About VoxFORCE VoxFORCE Media solution is a Video Management Platform from Winfoware which allows the user to view the videos that are stored in a media server and as well can stream live video over a network. The users of this application can view the video of their choice at their own leisure time. Multiple users can simultaneously view the same video on their own personal computer.
