Mission The Library is committed to realizing the mission of the University to enhance the quality of learning and research

through continuous updates of resources and services.

The students of Christ University have access to two different library facilities namely the General Library and the Online Library. The General Library comprises of 1,35,000 books and subscribes to 300 journals. The Library has a good collection of audio and videotapes for use of faculty and students. The Library uses KOHA, open source Integrated Library System, for its inhouse activities. The OPAC page has a modern appearance and features a quick simple Library Catalogue search box and other information pertaining to the Library. Search for a book can be made Authorwise, Titlewise, Subjectwise, ISBN and keywords on OPAC catalog. The catalog is available at http://library.christuniversity.in. The call no. (Classification number) will appear prominently on the catalog entry and will help you to trace the book on the shelves. The Advance Search provides with more specific search for a title. The Library has OPAC terminals at various points in the Library and is open from 8 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Annual Reviews Annual Review is a full-text E-database and provides a definitive academic resource in 37 scientific disciplines. Editorial committees comprised of the most distinguished scholars in the discipline select all topics for review, and the articles are written by authors who are recognized experts in the field. EBSCO - Business source Premier is a research database providing full text for more than 2,300 journals 1,100 peer-reviewed business publications. This database provides full text back to 1886, and searchable cited references back to 1998 in all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics, top scholarly journals including Harvard Business Review, Academy of Management Journal is available back to 1958. EBSCO Tutorial EBSCO - Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection is a comprehensive database providing over 560 full text publications. The database covers topics such as emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational and experimental methods. Full text information in this database dates as far back as 1965. EBSCO Tutorial HeinOnline This Image based legal research database has more than 1400 law and law related periodicals. It provides Web access to almost 3-million full-text documents from some of the world's most highly cited publications in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics. The content in IEEE Xplore comprises 151 journals, over 900 conference proceedings, more than 3,400 technical standards, over 400 ebooks and 200 educational courses. Over half-amillion pages of statistical data have been qualitatively analyzed, condensed and presented in a user friendly format. Data and statistics about India available on indiastat.com can easily be downloaded in MSWord/Excel/ HTML formats. How to Start: Users can start navigating for data available on the site by clicking on IP Login.Navigating for Data: Click the requisite Data category, under Statistical Information shown on the left panel. You get on your screen the alphabetical list of its sub-categories. Clicking a sub-category will lead youto a further sub-category or to the list of data table headings pertaining to the subcategory clicked. The page showing data table heading shows you data at India level or State-wise consolidated data. If individual state level data is available under the selected category, you would find a drop boxdisplaying the names of the states for which the data is available. Select the State Name from the drop box provided on the page, it would further take you to the data table listing page under the said heading. Click the table heading to view the data table that will be shown in a separate window. JSTOR JSTOR offers a high-quality, interdisciplinary archive to support scholarship and teaching. Manupatra Tutorial Mathscinet A bibliographic database offering access to a searchable database of reviews, abstracts and bibliographic information for much of the mathematical sciences literature. Over 100,000 new items are added each year, most of them classified according to the Mathematics Subject Classification. British Council Library This membership category provides ready access to British Council Library resources and information services including a vast range of electronic resources. Rules and Regulations

British Library borrowing cards are available with the Main Library and you may request for the same. DELNET services DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. It aims to collect, store, and disseminate information besides offering computerised services to users, to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible. IIM Bangalore IIMB Library encourages the use of its library for academic and research purposes. Members interested in access to electronic resources may visit on Wednesdays & Thursdays only.
