Your Missionaries to Costa Rica

Training Campus Leaders

Above: April Preaching. Below: Leticia, Aprils English student going to India.

This past year we have begun presenting workshops called Proyecto U to University students all across Costa Rica. The themes of these workshops are How to survive as a Christian on the University Campus and How to start a Campus Ministry. Weve had students, pastors and adult Christians in secular jobs all express interest in starting prayer and Bible study groups based on the format presented in the workshops. Its very practical. This fall we helped host a retreat for National Youth Leaders and I (Josh) was able to present Proyecto U. We are now scheduling workshops for 2012. Our goal in 2012 is to train student leaders in all 26 zones in Costa Rica. Proyecto U will equip this generation to make an impact on their campus and ultimately the world!

This young man wrote, Find an infallible argument to convert people to Heredia- the most liberal University atheism. This is why we are here. Students are searching for in the country. English Students Nearing Graduation

We are nearing the end of the Costa Rican school year in December. This past year, I (April) have been teaching English at the language school CINCEL, and my students are about to graduate. Two of my students are Argentine missionaries to Costa Rica, one is the wife of our A/G Superintendent here, and the fourth is a Chilean woman who will be going to India as a missionary. Leticia has worked hard this year and her studies will pay off as she continues her missions adventure in India some time next year. (Her picture is on the front of this newsletter.) Keep her in your prayers as she finishes her fundraising for the next leg of her journey. Pray that her supporters would be faithful in their commitments. Its been such a rewarding job for me to know that Im helping Leticia do what the Lord has called her to do. The fruits of my labor will extend to India now, and thats very exciting!

Wishing You a Very Merry Christmas!

Wow! The Lord has been so faithful to us in 2012 and we are so grateful for our faithful supporters. Several times this year our monthly support has come up short, but miraculously the Lord has provided for us each and every time! We know times are tough back home, but we serve a generous God who doesnt use a spread sheet. Psalm 37 says, I have never seen the Righteous forsaken or their children begging bread, they are always generous and lend freely. We can trust God to take care of all our needs. If you have a prayer need, we would love to pray with you. Feel free to contact us. Also, if you are looking to support us monthly or with a one time donation either contact us by email at josh.amiot@agmd.org. Or you could use the Assembly of God secure giving website. God bless you for your giving! http://worldmissions.ag.org/search.cfm?Display=Yes&churchdetail=AGFM3637 .

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours!
