NVH User Profile
The new NVH solution is an integration full vehicle NVH modeling and visualization environment. You can manage object oriented assembly definitions, including component representations and their inter-connectivity. New capabilities have been also added to facilitate modeling of lumped parameter models and local coordinate systems within the assembly. A new set of analysis management and loadcase setup capabilities have also been added. In visualization, a full set of NVH diagnostic tools are included. In addition, you can easily access relevant results through the right click context menu available based on result relationships. New Features/Enhancements Module Manager: A tab based GUI system that manages all aspects of modules: Representation files Tagpoints FE entities IDs States Properties Connection Manager: A tab based GUI system that manages all aspects of connections: Connectivity and location States Assembly Browser: A set of browser views that shows information related to Assembly hierarchy and active representations Assembly XML file structure management Assigned FE entity ID ranges Right click context menu options for Show/Hide/Isolate as well as Find Unattached Modules and Tagpoint functions. Connector Browser: A set of browser views that shows information related to Upper pane: 1. Module view module based Show/Hide/Find attached/Find between capabilities 2. Location view Right click context menu options for Show/Hide/Isolate as well as Set Rigid and Toggle owning module functions Templated Representations/Load Cases: Template based lumped parameter model creation mechanism Template based loadcase creation mechanism - the template modeling capabilities allow you to create and manage your own LP model and loadcases in the assembly definition without the need for include files NVH Local Coordinate Systems: Specialized local coordinate system defined based on Axis and plane Angle U-Joint This allows you to create and manage your local coordinate systems for connector and LP model definitions in the assembly. Prepare Module Tools including ID Management: An environment where you can: Renumber FE entity IDs into a range to avoid conflict with other modules in the assembly Prepare module utilities that help you: 1. Add/assign tagpoints and plotel elements 2. Add spiders 3. Orient and translate model Assign damping properties to material cards Analysis Manager: Manage analysis definitions involving: Module representation and states specification Connection states specification and realization Templated loadcase definitions The analysis definitions are saved into the assembly xml files to be easily recalled upon XML file import. XML File Load Save Framework: XML file management allows: Root and sub XML file export in preserve and merge mode Create backup xml files when over writing existing ones Auto load xml content and display in 3D graphics window This gives you the capabilities to manage your assembly in modular xml files, and transfer sub models to other assemblies easily.
