Khairuddin stated that Lalang Extractor is simpler than hovercraft and stretcher, it also have fewer parts to be manufacture. Khidir stated that Lalang Extractor is a green technology because most of the parts can be recycle, also the design does not need high capital to be manufacture

-Khairuddin acquired the lawn mower blade from the hardware shop. -All team members have found all suitable material in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering machine workshop which is mild steel hollow bar, plates and solid rods.

The handle bar consist of two component (component 1: hollow bar 65cm x 2.5cm x 2.5cm),(component 2: hollow bar 24cm x 2.5cm x 2.5cm)

Handle bar was fabricated by Shafiq by cutting the hollow bar by using hand saw and bending the bar according to the design angle. Zikri, Khidir and Ghazali cut the hollow bar to the appropriate dimension and do some grinding on the surface. Checked by,

The chassis consist of three component (components 1: hollow bar 30cm x 2.5cm x 2.5cm x 2 pieces), (component 2: hollow bar 34cm x 2.5cm x 2.5cm x 3 pieces) and component 3 : hollow bar 26.5cm x 2.5cm x 2.5cm)

Hollow bars were cut by Zikri and khidir by using power saw and Ghazali continued to drill a hole for 8mm diameter on the chassis.

Solid plate was cut by Shafiq and Zikri by using power saw and was grinded to have the appropriate shape according to the design of blade and both blades components was ware welded together by using MIG welding. Shafiq and Khairuddin do some welding for the handle bar and the main frame components by using MIG welding. Khidir and Ghazali focusing on completing the Morphological Chart and the Gantt chart. The brackets was fabricated by Ghazali by cutting plates to the appropriate dimentsion and then Khairuddin and Zikri continued to do the hole for diameter of 8mm by using hand drill. Shafiq weld by wheels axle and the main frame by using MIG welding. Blade cover was fabricated by Khairuddin by using rubber tube and aluminum plates.
