STUDENT COUNSELLING SERVICES

Students are the most important part of any society; rather it would not be wrong to say that they are the building blocks of a society. Student life is always symbolized as the most exciting part of ones life. Often people romanticize student life and describe it as the most exciting part of their life, which is true. Everyone has right to
make best out of his/ her student life and make it pleasantly memorable. This can be done by achieving and maintaining physical and mental health and creating a fine balance in life. So in our project we are going to focus on the

student and the problems of students. This service helps student to overcome their
personal, academic and social problems and to flourish in life.

The idea which we are going to represent is to provide Student counseling service centre in Gujrat. Which deal with the different issues related with the students life in Gujrat and its surrounding areas. There are a great number of students found. There is no place which providing such services in these areas therefore the student is facing a lot of issues and they dont found their solutions our purpose is to solve all type of problems of students and to provide them a full fledge guide line for their career. Our services are available:
For any student experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties relating to

academic or social problems

To all students international, European or home student, part-time or full-

time, undergraduate or postgraduate. Whatever their background and whatever their problem were here to offer them space and support in a confidential environment to work through their difficulties, as well as help them to think more clearly and develop the skills to cope.

Student Counseling Services assists students with a variety of concerns. The student may benefit from personal counseling to discuss: Stress management Career guidance Financial advices Adjusting to university Life transitions and change Difficulties in relationships Depression Anxiety Anger Physical abuse Emotional abuse Thoughts of suicide Self-esteem Loss and grief Other feelings that cause discomfort Moreover we also help them to introduce them with available faculties of scholarships and provide them the guideline for studies in abroad and all the problems faced by them there.

Opportunity assessment:
The opportunity assessment is the first and foremost step for any entrepreneur to make a successful venture. An entrepreneur must have a full proof opportunity analysis for his\her idea. Therefore, here we are going to analyze our opportunity in the market. We observed that in Pakistan there are no services provided to the student to deal with their psychological problem or help them in choosing their career. In abroad these services have a lot of scope but it does not exists in Pakistan. When we conduct a survey in University of Gujrat and we also consider some other colleges and universities we got that there is a huge demand for such type of services the students are missing such guideline. The most of student complaint that before selecting their career line they dont have any idea about what he should do and what not. There was no help or guideline for them. Some students also faced some psychological problems which they feel a big restrain in their student life. To deal with such of problems there is nothing is happening in Pakistan so there is a big opportunity is available for student counseling specially in universities.

Creation and length of opportunity:

The opportunity of our project is exists all the time in the market the students have problems in all the time of year at the time when they want to take admission, when

there exams are near, when they are out of studies and want to do some crash courses to enhance their skills. So our center always is opened for them.

Real and perceived value of opportunity:

We perceived that our opportunity have a long term affect on the society and the student life it similarly like a doctor. Our idea will be a great business of near future most of universities and colleges will demand it rapidly because due to the solution of their problems the productivity and efficiency of students will be increased and they will perform more efficiently in their fields.

Risk and return of opportunity:

The risk is not much but there is a risk because no business is started without risk. Risk involved but not too much. The students of university must acquire our services which provide them a moral training which will be help from themselves. As the return will concern then the charges will be proposed by us not much in starting but will be increased and within 5 years we will get a good amount of returns.

Opportunity versus personal skills and goals:

As our personal skills concerned we are very good in dealing with people our main objective is the happiness we will satisfy our client first but having our aim of profit making in mind. We will make all the students to solve their immigration problems their social, psychological and financial problems.

Competitive Environment:

There is we have the competitive edge in the market because still there is not any organization providing such services. GC University Lahore has such department in their university but this only works within the organization the students of college

level and of other university cant get benefited by this service. So the competitive environment is in our favor.
