DEEPEST FEAR IS THAT WE ARE

The first step is always the hardest one. And where to begin? is always the hardest question, but in order to start something, sometimes we need to jump into it. As we think we always have a better idea tomorrow than today, but this circle has to be broken at some point. Thats why this pre-release issue is distributed. to give all the potential participators a clue about how the Journal probably will be.

Procrastination is ruining everybodys life. Everyday we say to ourselves Tomorrow we will do it, and tomorrow we just say it again. ln my opinion procrastination is a psychological defence against a universal phobia, everybody suffering from , which is the success phobia. Its deep implemented within us. fear from doing something that may fail, and if succeeded, how would that affect our lives. It may carry on more responsibilities, demands, less Time, & and less joy. we are not ready for all of that now, So lets postpone it a few days later. this is the circle where millions and millions of people are going through, unfortunately most of us die before we broke through it. Carrying on the publication of this medical journal seems to be a too much for our young association. we still few in number, poor in experience, and limited in time. Also a medical journal is not a something for fun, every word in it should be scientifically accredited. and I can stay putting obstacles to the end of this assay, but this is not the thing we are looking for. here we are looking to the promising opportunities to produce a scientific and professional journal that gives a portal of information about our association, and a source of information and experience exchange between its members. The job it self is not a big deal, especially when the association get more active, stronger and mature. when we spread the essence of team work, and express the organizational tendencies of our selves. That is the real challenge. and Indeed we need to cultivate and master these skills to survive the modern life challenges. All what we have now is the will, that will bring us the way to pass all the stated obstacles.

the real world workings of the ZDA association. A lot of deficiencies may be found through out this work, thats normal and the gaps will never sealed all at once. by your participation and the feedback from the readers well improve it every time. for a while I tried to catch the attention of the members to rush and start the work, but because of the very soon start and the vague idea about the association and the journal, I think a lot of them are doubting the seriousness of the efforts behind them. that's another thing I want to prove. at some point in the liberation war the primary Zintan Hospital was the best and most effective medical center in the whole western libya, because of no technology and no facilities But be cause of honest efforts and wills to do the best of our people. So its all about our will and intent. Realy I peg to get the members interest to participate in such activities to produce something that may risen the level of care that our people are receiving and to reflect our love and passion about them. This release was done in a few days in my free time. it took me late in the night in a trial to make it as better as possible. its was really hard for a sole individual, yet necessary to conduct the ideas behind this journal to you. Once we get you involved soon it will be an easy and interesting to post an article of yours in a fashionable rich manner.

Management, management, management. our exposure to this word is ever increasing. despite its importance, most of us possess a little knowledge of its basics and applications. Today the demand to utilize the right principles of management can not be ignored. we already developed or inherited the rules and techniques of managing our selves and our businesses, which rarely be revised or updated. and we tend to produce the same mistakes over and over again. that's why developing the right skills of management to all aspects of our lives is of a vital importance. Going further, the classical pattern of management and administration is going to be invalid in the future. moving to the next generation of tools as soon as possible is a smart step. today we have less time great expectations and strong competitors as well we have more available knowledge and more efficient tools and the power of web. in our modern life style we have to break the limits of time and place, as we all have our homes and careers. and we only have a little time to devote for this community. so we have to make much of it, as productive as possible. we all are scattered all over the world, with different agenda and different time zones and hard to know when to be available .ZDA relayed on an online project management system that provides a lot of solutions to our problems and making real-time collaboration possible. For more than 2 weeks we established our site with glasscubes, few of the members of ZDA has registered their. maybe because the whole concept of online collaboration is still unclear for all of us. because all of that in this article I will try to shed light on the Glasscubes Collaboration System and how it works. I am sure that within a few minutes you will find it quite easy to work with. a very simple yet powerful productivity tools implemented every where in its internal system. For a better understanding of it , imagine that we have a company named ZDA. the company has departments, each with a number of employees. now we call the departments as workspaces. for example in the ZDA we have Journal workspace. in this we have all the members who are involved in the journal. the journal has a team leader, and a group of contributors. although the classic commanderworkers model is not and can not be applied here,

every work is divided into small tasks. to reach your goal you need to complete these tasks one by one. ideally, each member will complete a task assigned to him. and so a big job will be easier and finished quickly.

DISCUSSION
the common dream will be drawn here. and the tasks will be defined and assigned here. this is the meeting room.

DOCUMENTS
all the needed files, pic, and documents will be stored in the documents part.

CALENDAR MEMBERS

you will work in the workspace. their you will have tasks to do, and a place to make discussion with your friends, here you talk with other members define tasks and put suggestions. In the document part you will put any kind of files the workspace members will work on. other less important thins are the calendar to organize your work and the members log where you see other members of your workspace.
the workspace leader is working as a coordinator and organizer of tasks. all the members are decision makers and independent leaders. for a better understanding refer to the appended diagrams. WorkFlow As the border lines of the ZDA and the journal had sketched up, and may get modified as the members want in the future. there is a number of workspaces you will be a member of one or more, according to your interest and energy. in that workspace you will find other members who share you the same interest, and those are your co-workers and the job is done (ideally) in the following sequence. First, the members of the workspace will open discussions and put comments. there you can put your idea and talk with other members who to make it more reliable, achievable and smarter .Through this discussion a certain idea grows and mature. after reaching an executable plan (final picture). the whole job will be broken up into smaller tasks, which in turn will be assigned to the members according to what they're good in. and how much time they have. then, each member may work on the task before his hand independently. As the tasks get done, they will be assembled together to reveal the final result. This is the whole philosophy behind this Glasscubes system. up to now we talked about the Discussions part, and the task part, which are the core competencies of our system (you can say the CPU and the RAM of our machine). what we need now is a store or a cupboard to put or files in. It's the Documents part. here you can upload any kind of files you want to share with your co-workers. also you can create new documents and edit them online. and give permission to a selected members to view, read, or edit them. a whole world of capabilities.you can creat folders to better organize the cupboard. Im sure quickly you will find it an easy and fun.

great tool will be in front of you just when you login to y o u r a c c o u n t . I t s t h e SUMMERY. here you will see the current week of your calendar with any inputted tasks, appointments, and notifications. also you will see a log of activities that other members did such as, a new discussion or comment, a newly uploaded or edited files. From there you will move to the workspace you are working in.
edited a file you have, you will see it. So to know what is going on you have to check the activity log. If your style is to work organized and will the maximum productivity and to go well with your co-workers you must be a friend with the calendar. and to put all imporatant tasks and meetings in it, so you never miss them. you will see the the current week pf the calenad in the summery page. the bottom line is :

Below is a screen shot of what you will see when you login to your account .The dashboard tab will show the workspaces you have, and your tasks. from there you choose the workspace you want or you move to your tasks. Once you enter to the workspace, you will come to see the summery page. it's a very good way to see the activities going in the workspace. any going discussions will be posted there. if someone completed his task or uploaded a file you can see a notice there in the summery. if some commented on something you said in a discussion or a task you did. or even
