All our water tanks are manufactured from high quality Tank Grade polyethylene plastics. PineCrest also have a full range of plumbing fittings & Pumps to compliment your tank and any other plumbing requirements you may need . Our Rotationally Moulded Polyethylene Water Tanks are: TOUGH! Tanks are tough, and virtually unbreakable, yet are light and easy to install. NO RUST OR CORROSION! Tanks are made from U.V. stabilised Polyethylene which will never rust or corrode. ONE PIECE CONSTRUCTION! Tanks are made from a single mould. There are NO assembly joints to fail. FITTINGS! Tanks are fitted with mosquito proof strainer, outlets and overflows on all tanks 1100 gals and above. CHOICE OF COLOURS! Tanks come in a range of heritage colours .Mist Green/ Beigh/Dark Green, etc. NON-TOXIC! Tanks are produced using high quality non toxic food grade polyethylene which imparts no taste to water, is fully recyclable and is kind to the environment.

How to place your poly Tank Warranty and installation instructions

It is essential to have your tank on a FLAT LEVEL AND COMPACTED BASE. The base of your tank must be fully supported at all times.

CONCRETE SLAB Concrete slab must be at least 25 mpa and 100mm (4) thick with F62 mesh halfway through the mix. It should be screened flat & level with no high or low spots. The finish surface should have a trowelled finish.

F C R (fine crushed rock) FCR bases must be 300mm (12) wider in diameter than the tank and prepared as follows: 1. Remove at least 100mm (4) of natural earth, ensuring the base is flat and level. 2. Refill with 100mm (4) of FCR. 3. Once spread, thoroughly compact the FCR with suitable compacting equipment. 4. Thoroughly screed the surface and ensure the finished surface is perfectly FLAT AND LEVEL and free of stones, tree roots etc. 5. If constructed on top of ground, then sides of base must be fully supported By a boxing. INSPECT THE BASE REGULARY checking for , and rectifying, any undermining by water run-off or animals burrowing such as mice, dogs & Rabbits etc. The 10 year warranty is limited to 1 owner , 1 site location becoming void on upon re-sale or movement to another site the warranty is strictly limited to making good at the Pinecrest factory at the owners expense * Poly fittings may only be used on the outlets of the tanks . * A flexible hose must be installed in the pipe work between the tank outlet and the pump or existing pipe work. (Available from PineCrest) * On all plumbing installations the connections must be well supported and not depending on the tank walls or outlets for support . * Tanks fitted with over flows ,the over flow must be piped to a council approved storm water connection to avoid erosion of the FCR bed.

* Please note if poly tanks are to be raised off the ground by the means of a stand . The structure has to be approved by a structural engineer or you have voided your warranty. * Flush or clean water tank before first use. * Walking or standing on top of water tank is not permitted.

* Failure to install water tank to above installation instructions will void warranty.
