Father God, I thank you for being a God of generations, a God that takes care of a man seed, a God that takes care of a man household and a God that takes care of man personal life. A God that believes in family, love and togetherness, I praise you forever, I love you forever more and I will always lift your name up, there is no one like you Lord, no one can come close to you Father God, you are the beginning and the end, your mercy is better than pure gold, your grace is far better than houses and land, which is why I put my hope, love and faith in you Father God. God because you are a God of the past and the present of generations, you know the way of my future, you have prepared my pathway in advance. Now I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you will destroy, kill and remove all curses, generational curses and it residue from over my life, the life of my children and their children. Father God I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you remove ever curse, generational curse and witchcraft potion, every word that was spoken against me in judgment and against my children, every negative comment that comes against the will that you have for my life and the life of my children that has lingered, laid, and housed itself over my life and the life of my children and their children, Father God I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you teardown, destroy and remove completely every stronghold of addiction, fear, worry , doubt, disbelief, anxiety and stress from over my life and the life of my children and their children, Father God I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you will loose your peace upon myself, my children and their children because you said in your word that (John 14:27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you I pray for peace in my home, peace in my ministry, peace on the job, peace in my business, peace with my children and spouse, peace in my marriage, peace among the saints, peace in my spirit, peace in my mind, peace in my heart and peace with my enemies. Father God I ask in Jesus name that your mercy will compass me and my children, and their children about, that you will always look over us and let your grace and mercy fall on us, that you will show mercy to us in a time of pain, sorrow, a time of when we are in trouble, when our bodies are failing us, when our household is lacking, when our relationships is in trouble, when we have gotten ourselves in trouble on our own, when you have

allowed the enemy to come in, when we have walked outside of your will, when we have been slothful, when we have put our faith in man and things, when we have lost confidence in you, when we have not been prayful, when we have not been in the word of God, when we have not been obedient upon a request from you and we have lost time on things and people that mean us no good, Lord God show mercy and bring us into the fullness of you once again, reminding us that you alone are God and that we have been bought with a price, and that all that we can need or want is in you because you said in your word (John 6:35) I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Now Father God forgive us for being disobedient, forgive us for having an unforgiving heart, forgive us for stepping out of your perfect will for our life, forgive us for not being in the word of God, not fasting when we knew we should be fasting, forgives for not putting our trust in you, forgive us for not having faith in you and putting our faith in man and things, forgive us for not consecrating when you told us to, forgive us for being idle, forgive us for a forward mouth and unclean hands and forgive us for an unrighteous heart and any other thing that has not been covered here. Lord God remember your word (Deuteronomy 7:9) Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. Father God in your word (Luke 9:1) it says Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Your word also states in (Luke 10:19) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Proverb 18:21) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Now God I take authority right now in Jesus Christ name and in the power of God over every tormenting spirit, fear spirit, spirit of oppression, depression, every spirit that comes to stress out, every spirit that comes to try and bring on anxiety attacks, panic attacks, worry, every spirit of low self-esteem, every spirit of loneliness, every spirit of doubt, disbelief, pain, confusion, suicide, and every spirit that tries to attack the mind. I immediately snatch away all authority from every high and low ranking evil spirit and I

strip away all power of the enemy that has tried to bind me and my children. I command every evil spirit assigned and unassigned to flee from the presence of me and my children and I take authority in the name of Jesus Christ and shut down completely every scheme and plot of the enemy from over my life and children life. (John 8:36) If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I speak that I and my children and their children is free indeed, we are free from bondage and I speak life, and love and peace in the name of Jesus Christ. PRAY FOR THE MIND Father God it states in your word (Philippians 2:5) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, it also states in your word God (Second Timothy 1:7) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. And God without a sound mind how can I serve you? How can I praise you? How can I tell of the goodness of you Lord God?. Without you men cannot exist, he cannot live, move or have his being and Lord, Its going to take a mind to serve you and now is the time to serve you Lord God. God I thank you for a mind to serve you, I thank you that you did not let the enemy come in and take my mind, I thank you for regulating my mind in the season of going through trouble and pain, you even gave me peace in the storms of my life and Now God I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you would deliver me from every stronghold, every curse and generational curse that come against my mind; Father God tear down, kill, destroy and remove the spirit of anxiety, panic attacks, anxiousness, worry, fear, schizophrenia, depression, oppression, nervousness, bipolar disorder, stress, attention deficit, autistic disorder, psychotic disorder, delusional disorder, dementia, dependent personality disorder, disruptive behavior disorder, down syndrome, dissociative disorder, emotional disorder, Huntington disease, hallucinogen disorder, insomnia disorder, mental retardation, mood disorder, nightmare disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, paranoid disorder, personality disorder, hypochondriac disorder and any other mental disorder that has not been named. Father God in the name of Jesus Christ I ask for a sound mind, a stable mind, a Christ like mind, a mind to stay in my word, a mind to pray, fast, consecrate, and meditate on you Lord, a mind to serve you and you only, a mind to walk

upright before you, a mind to always stay in the house of the Lord, a mind to always seek you first before I set out to do anything, a mind to love without judging, a mind to look pass people faults and flaws and love them anyway, a mind to minister the word of God when needed, a mind to be obedient to you at all times, a mind to hold on and be patient and wait for you Lord, a mind to forgive and move on, a mind to bless, a mind to encourage myself and others, a mind to put my confidence in you Lord and not man, a mind to mine my business and stay out of others business, a mind to stand on the word of God, a mind to build up your kingdom and a mind to save souls, a mind to praise you through all circumstances and situations, a mind to keep the faith in you God, a mind to pursue my dreams and goals, a mind to look past obstacles, a mind to finish things that I start, a mind to be optimistic, a mind to dream bigger than what I believe, a mind to smile and laugh through the storms, a mind to speak good things, a mind that doesnt wander and a mind not to waver. Father God, I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that this blessing of the mind would be poured over into my children life and their children life, because I know you are a God of generations to generations. Health Prayer Father God I thank you for making me and keeping me, I thank you that you kept me down through the years, I thank you in spite of some not good days you blessed me to get up and live move and have my being. Lord God you are my help and strength, you are my everything, and I thank you for your word, which comes to deliver and heal. Father God you are a healer, a God that bless the womb of a woman, a God that open eyes, open death ears, open mute mouths and limbs to move about. There is nothing hard for you to do. Luke 1:37 states: For with God nothing shall be impossible. Isaiah 53:5 he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Now Father God I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you would destroy, kill and remove every sickness and disease of high blood pressure, low blood pressure, diseases of the blood, blood clots, anemia, sickle cell, AIDs, HIV, poor blood circulation, lupus, ceberely palsy, diabetes, kidney disease, gallstones, bladder infections, gout, Parkinson disease, hotchkins disease,

liver disease, thyroid problems, over sweating, ulcers, bell palsy, tumors, cysts, obesity, heart disease, heart attacks, strokes, clogged arties, severe allergies, migraine headaches, skin disorders, feet problems, acid reflux, menstrual problems, cervical problems, reproduction problems, sexual diseases, cancer of the brain, throat, breast, colon, lungs, bones, stomach, cervix, prostate, and skin. Father God let your blood cover the health of me and my children and their children, from the crown of the head to the souls of the feet, let your mercy prevail over the body, bless me and my children and their children to always have our sight, hearing, activities of our limbs, every organ working properly, and a sound mind. Father God in the name Jesus Christ I pray that you would bless me to have a hunger and a taste for healthy eating, that my diet includes fresh fruits and vegetables, that you would assist me to be able to control my eating and bless me with the power and strength and the mental ability to exercise daily, to always have a thirst to drink plenty of water, to remove the taste and desire for over indulging in sweets, bless me Lord God I pray with Good health insurance, to always be able to afford good quality knowledgeable doctors, that I will always have favor with the doctors and nurses no matter how small the matter. Father God I ask in Jesus Christ name that you would bless me with long life for in your word Proverbs 3:2 for length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Father God bless me to go beyond retirement age, bless me to see the fruit of my offspring, bless me to see good days in my old age and pour out this pray and blessing over into the second and third generation oh God. PRAY FOR LONELINESS Lord I thank you for being over my life, Lord God I thank you for keeping me and saving me, I thank you God for the precious blood of Jesus, I thank for making my pathway straight, Showing mercy to me down through the years, protecting me and covering me with your blood, Father God I want to give you honor, praise and glory for being who you are, I wanted to let you know Lord God, that I put no one before you, you are a amazing God, full of power, wisdom and strength, youre a God that judge fairly and righteously. Now God I thank you for removing those who meant me no good and bringing in my life those who have been a

help to me, I want to thank you for allowing my life to have just what is needed. Father God you know just what I need and you know just who to put around me. Father God my space in my home and in my heart is lonely; I have no one to share in my joy, happiness, pain and blessings. Though I rejoice in the house of the Lord, though I have people I have worked with and grew up with in my outer circle, yet I do not have anyone close to me, though I have relatives yet I have no one close to me. My days are empty though I try to fill them with some things to do but yet my heart is empty and my residence is not complete. Though I may have a pet here or there, it is not enough for me to forget my loneliness. In your word (Genesis 2:18) and the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him. Lord remember me your child, in my time of loneliness, give me the strength to be patient and wait on my spouse, fill me with good and productive activities to do, bless me to be financially able to have hobbies and other activities to do, allow me to know how to manage my time concerning activities in the church and outside the church, Father God, when I am at my residence give me what to do to stay busy, give me what to pray for, and what to read in your word to stay encourage. Put the right people in my life at the right time to encourage and up lift me, to be a blessing and to be there for those rough days. When I have no one to talk to talk to me Lord, when I have no one to share in my happiness make me smile the more Lord, when my strength is down due to pain, lift me up Lord, for you are my best friend, my husbandman and my parent, you are first in my life and I need you to sustain me in my loneliness. Prayer of deliverance of a Lazy Spirit Father God, I thank you for being very merciful, I thank you for tolerating and having patience with me, Lord you have given me another day to complete the assignments that you have given me. Now Lord I ask that you would forgive me for wasting so much time, time on doing nothing, time on not completing your will. Lord forgive me for not doing the things you have called me to do even when I knew I was suppose to do them, Father forgive me for being slothful and lazy, forgive me for not appreciating the opportunities to that you have set before me to accomplish goals. Now God I thank you for another day to be able to

complete your will, I thank you for another opportunity to pursue my dreams and goals. I thank you that you have been merciful to me by given me days that have been completed. Father God I know that I have wasted time but I pray in the name of Jesus that you would allow me to catch up to time and do the things that I need to do to complete your will. Lord God I ask that you would deliver me from the spirit of laziness and the spirit of slothfulness; God I ask in the name Jesus Christ that you would help me overcome and conquer laziness and slothfulness. I pray God that my procrastination that I have had for years that you would grant me strength, help and counsel on how to overcome. Father God I am asking for complete deliverancefrom every slow, lazy, slothful, lingering, procrastinator, non ambitious, undecided, uncooperative, idle, sluggish, depressive spirit, Lord I need you to destroy, kill and remove every spirit and its residue that had me bound and blinded. Father God in the name of Jesus Christ I ask that you will instill in me the vision that you have for my life, instill the goals that you have allowed me to dream, instill the drive to look past every obstacle and mountain that stands in my way, bless me to inherit your gift of strategic organization and time management. Instill in me the ability to know how to plan and prep for new adventures, new projects and new goals. When you bless me to wake up allow me to look at each day as an opportunity to complete the things I need to do, to set new goals each day that will grow me spiritually and mentally. Allow me to see that day to do and complete your will, give me what to pray for and who to pray for and bring forth the new me that is ready and willing in Jesus Christ name. PRAYER FOR FAMILY TOGETHERNESS Father God I praise you because you are a God that believes in family and in your word you said Be fruitful and multiply. You increased Israel and you increased Abraham family. You are a God of generation to generation; you even gave Job all new children. Now God I thank you for my family and the opportunity to grow up with them. I do realize we are not the as close as I would like us to be, disagree, we dont communicate like I always finding fault in each other. I best family, we are not we sometimes fight and would like and we are know that we cant pick

our family and I do believe you pick the family for us and I know you have your reason. So I do thank you for the family members you have given me, I thank you for allowing me to realize that some people family have more problems than we do. Now God I ask that you will look in on my family and know that we need help, we need you to come into our life, change us and make us improved in a better relationship with one another. Father God I asked that you would save my household and bring them to the fullness of Christ Jesus. Present your word at every opportunity via, phone, internet, television, and radio. Set your people in place to be ready to minister the word of God to them, to encourage them, to prophesy to them, to console them and to teach them. Give them dreams of salvation, of hope in you; give them dreams of being free in Jesus name. Visit them Father God when they take a nap, or when they drift off in thought, or when their mind goes blank take, every opportunity to enter into their mind and conversate with them. Lord God I know that you deal with the heart and you look at the heart and not the outer appearance. So Father God I ask in the name of Jesus that you would chip away at their heart and get to the core of their problems, situations, and concern, let them know you are the only one that can change them, youre the only one that can teach them righteousness, youre the only one that can understand them, for you created them. Give them a new heart in you. Touch their ears to accept hearing your word, guide there feet to the house of the Lord that you have chosen for each of them. Give them the right shepherd to watch over their soul and pray for them. Give them a heart of repentance, accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior and fill them with the Holy Ghost, riding on your coat tail of mercy and grace. After all that Lord whether you do it afterward or in between draw our family together in love, peace, joy, happiness and celebration. Sew us together we the thread of love, mercy and grace. Give us patients with one another and understanding. Give us a heart to accept each others flaws, build a community of fellowship with each family member and bring us together with pure love, forgiveness and acceptance in one another. Bless our family to be fruitful and multiply branching us out with more family members as never before, bless us with more grandchildren, in laws, nieces and nephews, even children that

has a chance of a new life in our family, grant us stepbrothers, and stepsisters. Give this family a new starts in Christ Jesus from generations to generations and allow our family to be as large as the sand on the beach and I will give you the praise for all my days. PRAYER FOR THE RIGHT HUSBAND Father God, I thank you for being a God of mercy and kindness, I thank you for a plan and purpose in my life, I know that I am complete in you and there is nothing that I can ever want or need. You are my counselor, advisor, provider, my best friend and a true and real husbandman; you know the true meaning of love when you offered your only begotten son Jesus Christ for me. You have sacrificed, so that I may have life and have it more abundantly. You have been concerned about my well being, safety and even the people that are in my life and God I appreciate it very much. Now Lord I ask that you would allow me to share my life with someone that you know is best for me. Someone hand picked by you; Someone that will immolate you and respect you, someone that will fear you and trust you, someone that will be obedient to your will, someone that has a heart that you can reach and convict when he knows he has done wrong, someone that will encourage me in you to be strong, someone willing to pray for me and with me, someone willing to listen to the word of God, someone that is righteous in your sight, someone that you know will love me as you would love me. Lord you know what is best for me; you know what I like but you also know what I need and Lord I would like for you to remember what my type of mate is, how tall, color, smile, eyes and now Lord I ask that you would hand pick my mate as you see fit, because I know your way is the better way. Father God give me the strength to hold on and hold out for the one you have for me and when I am lonely and just want some company give me the strength to talk to you instead of calling the wrong person. Give me the strength to not to fall for every guy but to give me the gift to discern the fruit of each guy I meet and bless me to be ten steps ahead of every intention of the guys I date.

Show me what I am to look for concerning my husband, what qualities, what type of personality and physical appearance I am to look out for so I know I know that I wont make the wrong decision. Now God bless me to learn how to be the wife you have called for me to be, show and tell me how to live a life of marriage and commitment. Show me how to endure when my marriage have problems and show me how to handle a household and juggle life in marriage. Show me how to deal with disagreements that my husband and I may encounter and to be a friend to him as well as a wife, bless me to allow space that is needed in order for us to remain close and always be in charge of our marriage, delegating every problem and counseling every decision. Be the thread that holds our marriage together in Jesus Christ name. Prayer for a closer walk with God God I love you and I need you in my life even the more, I am not comfortable with just going to church and one prayer a day but I need to have a personal relationship with you, I need to be closer to you. I want to be able to hear you when you speak to me and see what you have planned for my life; I want my heart to be accepting of your will and not mine. Lord bless me with a reminder of when I have time to spare to spend that time in prayer with you, and when I am lounging around give me a reminder to read my word. Father remind me to pray as often as I can, and when I am looking at television reminder to mediate on you, bring to my remembrance all the things that you have brought me out of and brought me through. When I get bored and want to find something to do remind me to call out to you in pray. Remind to leave time open for us to commune. Help me to use my time wisely when it comes to you Lord, bless me to share all my thoughts and every problem on my heart with you. Remind me that you are my savior and King. Reminder me to let you handle all the problems that are too big for me; to give you full control of my life, this way I know I am trusting you. Speak to me in song and scripture and speak to me in dreams and through my heart, let me know when you are pleased with me and

let me know when I need correction, nudge me to put me back in the right direction. Lord God I want to have a close and you and I am not satisfied with just that you bring back to my remembrance in the first place. Generational curses Father God, I know that you are a God of generations to generations because your word says so(psalms 146:10), you are the God of the beginning and the end, you are the God of Abraham, Jacob and Moses, the God of the twelve tribes of Israel and not only the children of Israel but also claimed the Gentile nation to be called your children and for that I am very gracious; gracious to be called your child, gracious to be an heir to you and a joint heir to Jesus Christ. So, Thank you Lord for washing me in the blood of the lamb of Jesus Christ and thank you for filling me with the Holy Spirit and thank you for forgiving me of my sins. Lord God your word says you will never leave me nor forsake me(Deuteronomy 31:8) and right now Lord I need you in my life every step of the way, for you are the truth and the light(John 2:8) and without you man would be lost in darkness. Lord God I need you and my family needs you, you are our rock, salvation, strength and hope. You are the God that can mend back broken families and relationships, the God that can cause husband and wives to stay married and sibling to forgive one another and right now God I call on you to answer pray. Father God in the name of Jesus Christ your word says in psalms 79:8 Do not hold against us the sins of the past generations, may your mercy come quickly to meet us, for we are in desperate need. Lord God my family is in desperate need. Our family have experience through the blood line generational curses of neglect, abuse, verbal abuse, shame, alcoholism, drugs abuse, fornication, adultery, whoredom, divorce, prostitution, singleness, wedlock, childlessness, poverty, low class living, poor education, gang lifestyle, gambling, homosexuality, division, poor family communication, teenage pregnancy, incest,

child molestation, jealousy, strife, witchcraft, poor relationship between parent and child, lack of affection and love, lack of attention, favoritism, quick temper, selfishness and any other curse that has not been named that goes back seven to ten generations on. Now Lord God I ask that you would cut off from the root every generational curse that was named and the ones you know to be harmful towards my family and give us new seeds, new branches, new leaves and prune away all of those sinful ways that are not right in your eyesight in Jesus Christ name. Amen. Prayer for fornication and lust Father God you are a God of righteousness, holiness, purity and truth and God your commandments are of righteousness and holiness; Lord God, your way is the right way and it leads only to goodness and holiness and perfection. Now Lord God I have battled with lust and fornication and many times I have lost the fight, I have allowed myself to fall weak under pressure and give in instantly, not thinking about the consequences of how you may feel and what this will do to my relationship with you and to me. In your word it says Flee fornication (Corinthians 6:18) and I ask you Lord God to help me flee fornication and lust. Your word also says mortify fornication (Colossians 3:5), I need you Lord God to strengthen me in my time of weakness and help me over every hurdle. I cannot do this on my own strength, I need you to come to my rescue when the temper comes to make me fall to lust and fornication, in your word you state that you will not suffer me to be tempted above what I can handle but will make a way of escape when temptation comes (Corinthians 10:13). Lord I also ask that you will forgive me for lust and fornication, for allowing my flesh to lead me and not your word that does make me strong, your word that cleanses down to the soul. Father God forgive me, for lust in my heart, forgive me for every unclean impure thought and unclean spoken word and have mercy on me, wash me clean and sanctify me with your word, cleanse me of all unrighteousness that leads to destruction. Come into my life and make every crooked path straight, deliver me from lust and sexual immorality and cleanse my heart of any residue that has lingered for years of all uncleanness.

Touch my eyes to see beauty and not lust, touch my mouth to speak love and not unclean words, bless my hands to do the work for you Lord and not to touch out of lust; bless me to have a desire for that one person that you will give me, bless me to have a mind of marriage and faithfulness to my spouse, help me to view my spouse as my other half that I will respect and honor and not as a object. Give me a heart to love and kill every destructive spirit that will pull me away from you. Father God I love you and I need you to be in my life; keep me Lord and I will keep your word forever in my heart so that I do not sin against you. Prayer for peace Father God I thank you that you are in control and that you are a God of righteousness and holiness, I thank you God that you are a God of truth and justice, I thank you God that you are perfect and pure and that you are a God of peace. Your word says your thoughts are of peace (Jeremiah 29:11) and that you purposely give peace (John 14:27) not as the world gives peace. Father God, your peace is full of love, purity, holiness and truth, your peace father God can even make my enemies sit with me and right now Lord God I pray for peace, not just peace in general but peace in my heart and peace in my mind, when I make a decision and consult you and I pray that your peace will come with the answer, when I dont know what to do I pray for peace and patience to wait on your answer. When it feels like the world is on my shoulder I pray for peace, when bills and other financial situations comes I pray for peace. When people have turned their back on me I pray for peace and when love ones forsake me I pray for peace. When news is not good Lord God I pray for peace, when I am put to shame I pray for peace and when my enemies have did me wrong I pray for peace. Father God I ask for peace in my relationships and I ask for peace in my home, peace on the job and peace with my spouse, peace with my neighbors and peace with my children and I ask for

peace with my family even the ones that causes mischief and confusion. Father God keep me in perfect peace and bless me to speak good and peaceable things, let your peace abide with me until the day you take me home. Prayer for a new baby Father God you are the God of creation and heaven and earth belongs to you (Nehemiah 9:6) and you have created men for your word says so (Isaiah 45:12), without you Lord God nothing could be, for every thing that man has made was made by you. Your Glory is shown every where and every day, you give us the moon, the stars, the sun, you give power for birds to fly and leopards with speed, every creature on this earth was wonderfully made by you. Father God your Word told Noah to be fruitful and multiply(Genesis 9:1)and replenish the earth, you wanted men to subdue the earth and have dominion over things in the air and things in the sea, you wanted men to till the land and take care of it, you created the earth for your plan and purpose and every person that is here is made by you for a purpose and I know you are not a God of confusion or of mistake and when you make an individual you know what path they should take. Father God when you created John the Baptist his mother was thrilled that you blessed her with a son, though she tried for years and Sarah who was Abrahams wife even though she was well stricken in age and pass the prime of life, You Lord blessed Sarah womb and she brought forth Isaac, and let me not forget Rachel though young and beautiful she could not have children but her husband Jacob prayed the prayer of faith and she brought forth a son name Joseph. Lord God you are a miracle worker and you are the God of Life and Death and Lord I pray that you bring forth life within my womb, I Pray in Jesus Christ name for children or a child; I pray that you bless my womb to be fruitful and to multiply. Lord whatever your will is for me to have, whether it be on or more, let your will be done, because you know what is best for me.

Lord you know the time and season to bring forth life; as well has a plan for each mans life, you also know if a male or female shall come forth in the womb. Prayer can be a powerful thing if it is done in the proper way, and prayer can be harmful just as well. First lets discuss the power of prayer. What is prayer? Prayer is simple communication with God, a conversation of true words from your heart to his. Prayer can be for an hour or even for a mere sixty-seconds; the most important thing is that prayer comes from your heart. You must be truthful with the Lord because he knows the heart of men (Acts 1:24). So if you insist on praying for world peace when the only thing on your heart is for your your marriage to be fixed, then your prayers are not sincere, for God is a God of truth and righteousness (Jeremiah 9:24). So to be honest with the Lord is a start to a wonderful relationship between you and him. God makes mention many times concerning prayer and how important it is to pray everyday, everyday decision from what to wear to who to marry ;God wants you to pray to him, for this builds your relationship with God and your trust for him as well. Romans 12:12 states to be instant in prayer, meaning do not let one day go pass without any communication to God, Philippians 4:6 states that dont be concerned about what you dont have but to always remember to pray to God and thank him for what you do have; because he supplies all of your needs. God wants us to pray consistently not just to build a relationship with him but to be able to fight against the enemy when the times comes, The word of God says that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), so God wants you to be able to fight the enemy in prayer, (which will be discussed at a later time). God also wants us to pray to cleanse our mind and to be delivered from the very thing that has us tied up in knots, for example you maybe concerned about your bills and how you may pay for them, and

you have tried so many ways to figure out how to do it and finally you send up a pray to God, however, your still nervous about lights going, out, mortgage not being paid and childcare, so you pray again and again but it is not until you honestly believe that God will supply all of your needs, its not until you know that without faith it is impossible to please God. Mark 9:23 states that if you believe anything are possible, so when you pray believe in your heart that God is able to do what it is youre praying for. (Remember you must believe that he is able when you pray). Finally who is it that qualifies to pray to God, simple.those who believe in him and trust him; a lot of times people will go to a minister to have them to pray for whatever is on their heart and that is okay but God wants a relationship with you and to have you to communicate with him daily and you may say to yourself; well I am not good enough to pray to God or I cant pray as good as the minister or a pastor, or the famous preachers that are on television. I have not been good enough to pray to God, the truth is you dont have to be a minister to pray and you dont have to feel like you are not worthy of talking to God, that is far from the truth(The enemy will have you believing that you are not special enough to go to God) that is why God sent Jesus Christ into the world that you might believe and be saved and when you trust God and accept him into your heart it is so much easier to go in prayer. There are those who do pray and dont believe hoping to receive something of the Lord, those who pray only for ill gotten gain and those who pray to bring hurt, these pray are automatically cast down by God and picked up by the enemy. Be true to yourself when you pray and pray what is in your heart because God already knows what you will pray for before you even pray. Prayer for Financial Need Father God I thank you for supplying all of my needs, I thank you for taking care of me and my family. I thank you for being Lord over my life and my savior and my keeper, I cant do anything without you, I dare not have you in my life, because you are the breath of my air, my safety net, the handle bars of my life.

Father God your word is power and life and in your word it states (Philippians 4:19) you shall meet all of my needs according to your riches in glory. Father God I put my trust in you for your word say Trust in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and truly you will be fed (psalms 37:3). I put my faith in your hands because I know you will take care of me; your word says again They that know your name will put there trust in you; for you Lord have not forsaken them that seek you (psalms 9:10). So I know I can lay my faith in your word because your word is true. (Psalms 119:160) For your word is true from the beginning and everyone of your righteous judgment endureth forever. Father God I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you will meet all my financial needs; I ask Lord God that you will give me financial wisdom so that I may know how to budget my finances and handle my checking and saving account. That I will know what to spend my money on and what is important financially when it comes to shopping. I pray for financial wisdom so that I can learn what to invest my money into and how to make my money grow and how to save. Father God blesses me with wisdom so that I can determine who I can invest my money in and who not to trust around my finances. Father God bless me to pay all my bills in full and on time, bless me to financially be able to afford childcare and other household expense, even bless me to be able to take care of my pets. Bless me to be able to make double payments on mortgage, rent and car note, grant me the lowest interest rate possible, In Jesus Christ name. Amen. PRAY FOR ADDICTION Father God I come to you and thank you, thank you for today, thank you for new opportunities to improve my life and thank you for the plan that you have for my life. Father God I acknowledge that you are a God of liberty and justice, a God of righteousness and purity. In you Lord is no guile, no uncleanness; only perfection lives within you. This is why I come to you because I know youre able to handle my problems and carry my burdens. Your word states For my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Matthew 11:30) and no one can understand my problems better than you.

Right now God I need your help; I have tried to help myself and I have tried to have others help me but Lord God I have not been strong enough and those that did help me gave up on me or wasnt strong either; youre the only one Father that can bring me up and bring me out. Lord God you hold all power in your hands and with that power youre able to heal all diseases, turn the rivers into dry land, make the land fruitful or make a womb barren, your power is unlimited and your wisdom infinite. Father God deliver me from my addiction(s) and make me whole; I wanted to be set free from my addiction(s) and I want to be restored whole and healthy. I know in your word it states whom the son set free is free indeed (John 8:36). I cant handle this addiction(s) on my own, I am too weak and not girded in the word of truth fully so that I can fight the enemy when he present temptation my way. I have not prayed enough or fasted enough, I have not read your word which hold the truth enough to fight off the enemy but what I do know what to do is lift my hands and surrender to your will and I throw my burdens on you because you can carry them and once I start to read your word and pray, I ask that you will deliver me every moment of the day and when I get enough strength and surrender to your will to be done in my life I will fast as well and by doing all this I pray each day you will deliver me and complete me into a new person in you. Father God deliver me from every strong hold that is keeping me from having a relationship with you and a relationship with those who love me, also deliver me from my past so I can look forward to the future, come into my life so that I can resist the devil, and heal my heart of everything that has been tainting it for years, sanctify me and fill me with the Holy Ghost so that I wont sin against you. Father God deliver me and my children and the next generation from every addiction that would cause division, chaos, confusion and death. Father God curse and destroy every addiction of alcohol, drugs, gambling, over eating, anorexia, sexual perversions, hoarding, nicotine, caffeine, pornography, psychics, television, vulgar conversation, prescription drugs and pain killers and any other addiction whether it is minor or major Father God bind the residue of any spirit of addiction that is or has lingered in my life, keep me strong when temptation comes, give me the strength when I am alone facing demonic temptations. Let your word rise in me so that I will be able to fight off the enemy. Remove the taste and hunger for these

addictions off of my tongue, mind, stomach and heart, purge me and complete me with a spiritual makeover, so that I can become the child that you are glad to receive in Jesus Christ name. Amen. Chapter Two Addiction The definition of addiction is: to be enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit forming. Many times we do things repetitiously because it is comfortable to us and we know what to expect, other times we do things out of habit because it is safe and it feels good to us. Addiction is not just a drug or alcohol problem but it is a problem when it comes to abusing are minds and bodies; that means anything you take in more than necessary is a possible hazard to you and when something is a hazard to you it becomes a danger. The most common habits of course are drugs and alcohol but sometimes the things we look at as pleasures are just as damaging. For example coffee, even though a person may drink it every day the habit is when a person may drink it three or four times a day or may drink a larger quantity than they should or maybe youre a soda drinker and you have to have that fizzle at least three times a day; so you say what is wrong with that, well everything of course. First look at the fact that not only are you addicted to having cold or hot caffeine but now your body has to adjust,(your kidneys, bladder, liver, pancreas, heart, sugar glucose etc..) itself in trying to fit more than what is expected other than fruits, vegetables, protein, water and minerals. Also the cost adds up, and the longer you feed your habit the harder it will be to break it, which will cause for you to fall weak, irritable, agitated, disturbed, angry, and psychological emotional. Other habits or addictions that may go undetected are things we do and not so much the things we put inside our bodies, watching to much television, or pornography, using the cell phone constantly, gambling, hoarding, shopping, even over working yourself is an addiction. We must remember anytime something is being used or abused more than normal or is not normal to be used often, then it is an addiction.

Addictions are hard to break because most time we are not disciplined enough to stop the habit or addiction ourselves. Have you ever heard someone say that he/she stop smoking for two years but something in their life caused for him/her to relapse back into their old habit or the new year resolution started out strong and you stop overeating (yes overeating is an addiction) for at least two months but the office party was too much for you to take. Yep, I think we have heard it all or said it once before. So you may be saying well how do you get rid of an addiction? Well, it is not as easy as it looks and dont let anyone tell you that it is easy, there are many programs that are out there for addiction, programs for eating, sex, drugs and alcohol, even programs for stress but it must start with the person admitting that he/she has a problem with addiction and then support from family, friends or group members is also needed, dedication and termination are the key and you must be sick and tired of being sick and tired of going through the same habit(s). Now there is an another way to break an addiction and that is the Lord Jesus Christ himself, he can deliver anyone from anything no matter how long he/she have been struggling with it. Accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and having him as your personal savior is the beginning to a process. Letting God have his way in your life and removing your will so that his will can be done for you is the best solution ever. Remember God wants you to be free of the sins of the world, he wants old ways and habits broken off of your life, in his word he states you are a new creature in Christ Jesus, this way God will be able to use you for his glory and also he will be able to speak to you the more and the more distractions that you take out of your life the better it will be for you to hear God. Remember once you accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and receive the baptism of Jesus Christ as your savior then(Acts 2:38) you are washed and clean and presented holy before God. (Colossians2:12:14) and God looks at you as perfect, he just want you to stay on the path of righteousness. There have been testimonies of people being delivered from addictions that he/she had had for years and just in one service or at home waking up God delivered them strongly in a matter of moments, others have testified that theirs was a process and then the deliverance came, we dont know why God chooses to deliver in a process way; maybe it is a learning experience or maybe there was a struggle in

the spirit realm concerning ones deliverance but one thing is for sure God is a strong deliverer and once you are delivered you are cleaned and as long as you stay with God you will not experience that addiction again. Dont trust yourself to go and beat an addiction that has had you bound for years but trust in the Lord your God and he will bring you out of every strong hold in your life. I might add that getting a pray partner to help encourage you to get pass your addiction, somebody that has strength, someone that can pray for you and God will bless, some one to speak positive things in your life, it is good to have a support group in your life that cares enough about your well being. Although there are people that may not have a support group, they may not even have a friend and in that case, I would suggest that you should find people famous, non famous, rich or poor, educated or non educated that has similarities in addictions has yours and read up on or speak to them about how they over come and incorporate that with the power of pray, reading your word and having faith to believe that God will bring you out; because remember you are never alone there is always someone who is going through the same if not similar situations that you are. Pray for Career Father God I always give thanks to you in how you direct my life, I thank you for already knowing the path that I should go in. Lord God let your will be done in my life; let my heart be open to your will. You have given me the opportunity to go after my career goals everyday you allow me to wake up and I know that what I do I do with all my heart for you and not pleasing men; because you are my provider, counselor and way maker I trust you to lead me in all ways. Lord God I desire for my career to be blessed by you, I ask that you will give me wisdom in the career path that you have gifted me in, the knowledge in you to stay grounded and focused and humbled before you so that I wont stray from your truthful words. Grant me insight on new ideas and stragedies to improve my gift(s); bless me to lie down at night with greater visions of opportunities in my career, Bless me with favor with the right people and bless me with the mind to be in the right place and the right time.

Allow me to know how to manage my time so that I still may worship and praise you and to pray and to continue in the word of God. Bless me to always have a mind to pay my tithes to what you have allowed me to accomplish and to sow in the ministry for the building of your kingdom. Lord I know life does not come without its challenges; even in ones career there are highs and lows but I pray that you will walk with me through every struggle, setback, success, pain and mistakes, let me see when I have step outside your will, let me know if I get puffed up, bring me back before your word, bring me to my knees in prayer. Lord God bless my career in the way you see fit, take me in the direction you want me to go and when I cant go forward any more bless my eyes to see the blockage whether it be me or not. I trust you Lord with my life so I also trust you with my career, I know you will always help me make the right decisions, so I trust you always, in Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for the Holy Ghost Father God, I thank you for saving me and rescuing me from a world of shame and sin, a world of destruction, I thank you for saving me from destroying my own self. I did not know I was dead while I yet live, I did not know that I was causing my own self misery and pain in eternity but I thank you for opening my eyes to the truth, your word caused me to have faith in you and I havent let go since. Now I ask in Jesus Christ name to receive your spirit Lord, the Holy Ghost, because in your word it says that rivers of living water shall flow from my belly (John 7:38). I want to speak in other tongues just has your disciples, I want to utter new language to you in praise and worship. I look at others and see that they are full of joy when the Holy Ghost is upon them, I see them rejoice in dance and song, I want that Lord; I want a new dance and a new song, I want a fresh anointing in you, I want to feel your spirit. I dont want to come in the house of God continuously and not feel your spirit, not hear from you, I want to be sealed with the Holy Ghost until the day of redemption.

Whether I receive the Holy Ghost at work, school or in my car I receive your spirit willing. I want to be able to discern and I want to be able to pray in other tongues, so I am encourage to know that If I ask, I shall receive and patiently wait for you to fill me and seal me. Amen. Prayer for friendship Father God, I thank you very much for the people you have placed in my life to be a blessing and a help to me, I thank you for the family members that have supported me and I thank you for those people who have had a short season in my life but left a powerful impact and I thank you for those who have encouraged me, prayed for me and taught me and mostly I thank you for you because you are all great things to me, a parent, a friend, a lawyer, a counselor, a teacher, a comforter and the love of my life. Lord God, I trust you and your decisions and that is why I have come to you and asked that you would bless me with God given friends, friends that are hand picked by you. You know my character, personality, morals and values, you know me better than I know myself, which is why I trust you to pick out my friends for me. I dont see the heart like you can see it, I dont know the intentions of men like you know it, which is why I trust you to make the right decision for me concerning friends. I wont ask for a certain age, or color, I wont even ask if male or female, I trust that you know who should be in my life. I pray that you bless me to be able to discern my true friends. I also pray that you help my heart to be open to the friend(s) you have for me. I will always keep you in the forefront of my heart and no one can replace you Lord, because I know who I am in you. I thank you Lord in advance for what you will do for me in Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer for the right church

Father God, I want a place that I can feel your spirit, a place where your anointing does fall, a place where your angels are in place, a place where the prophetic word of God is real, a place where I can worship and praise you in freedom, a place that fellowship is real and love does flow, a place that is concerned about your people, a place that is concerned about building up the kingdom of God, a place where souls are saved, a place that allows the Holy Ghost to move willing. I rather praise you in a basement as long your anointing and spirit dwells there, I rather worship you in an attic as long as your spirit comes to visit, because I know it is not about how many stain glass windows or gold plated cups on an alter but the true house of God will worship you in spirit and in truth, a true house of God will willing let the Holy Ghost take over, the real house of God will allow men and women, boy and girl to praise you in song and dance. If I have to travel far to get to the right house of God just to feel your spirit and have a touch of your anointing then it is well worth the travel. So I pray that you will lead me to the right church home, the church where my blessings flow, the place that is hand picked by you and not me or any one else. I pray for your peace when I get there and I pray for direction in what type of work you want me to do for you there. I also pray that I will grow in teaching, grow to higher heights and deeper depth in you, so in Jesus Christ name I pray and believe for you to guide me to the right church home. Amen. Prayer for my enemies Father God I know that you are a God of love and in your word it states to love my enemy (Matthew 5:44), for you have made all creatures and the only way that your children can be distinguish is to have the love of God on them. I must admit to love someone that hates me or jealous of me, or envious of me or treats me mean for no apparent reason is hard for h me to understand, to smile at someone who wish harm to you or trick

you into hurt is not something I care to but when I think of who you are; a God of is merciful when mercy should not be given gracious in blessings and a God slow to sense to me.

You loved me before I knew you and had mercy on me, you showed me much love by sparing me of much harm and you extended your love on me by allowing me to receive your love and kindness. To be called your child and given the inheritance as Abraham. You could have condemned me but I thank you God that you spared me and showed me much love and saved me and gave me another chance into salvation. I am asking that you pour out love in me so that I can love with the love of you in my heart. I am asking that you wash my heart of envy, jealousy, strive, malice; covetnous and anything else that will hinder me from loving with a pure heart. Let me see my enemies from afar off, let me see my enemies in my circle of trust and let me be wise as a serpent but gentle as a dove, when it comes to my enemies. Give me power to talk right before my enemies and to live right before my enemies, allow me courage to be a help to my enemies because in your word(Romans 12:20) it says if I am nice to the enemy I shall put him/her to shame. Always give me a mind to pray for my enemy not for hurt but they may be saved in Jesus Christ name and I know you will take it from there. Lord remember me and rescue me from my enemies when they have preyed against me for your word says (Psalm 106:10) that you saved them and redeem them from their enemies. I trust you to take care of me for you saved me and delivered me from Satan hand, so I trust you to deliver me from my enemies, in Jesus Christ name. Amen. Prayer for getting past hurtfulness in church Father God, I know that you have sent me to the right church and I knew it the first time I sat down in the sanctuary, when you led me

to this church I saw the blessings flow, I saw miracles take place, I felt your anointing on me, I see that the leader of this place is a true person of God and only have your interest at heart, he/she is concerned about your people and building up the kingdom of God. Lord I also am appreciative of the people that is also connected to the church and those who continuously prayed for me as I for them. So this pray is very hard for me to say but I have been hurt by some in the house of God, the place where peace is, the place of worship, the place of fellowship with the saints. I have struggled many times to understand why this thing has happened but I dont understand and what I do understand it just doesnt seem to pass. I know that I am suppose to forgive because your word says so but it is so much harder to forget who has hurt me in the house of the Lord. I thought this is the place where love flows, pain is stopped and celebration of newness begins but I dont see that because all I see is the hurt, anger, jealousy, strive, self will, covetesnous, I see myself turning away from the church, seeking after the perfect church home but I also know that you sent me here, so I am asking that you would get me over this hurdle of confusion, give me the strength and peace each time you allow me to walk into the place you called me to be, destroy the enemy that has allowed me to remain hurt, destroy the spirit of division, destroy the spirit of spitefulness, set things straight so that peace can flow once again, blessing can come down and your anointing which will destroy every stronghold. I know that I need a covering, someone who has power with you God that will keep me in prayer, someone that will fight for me in the spirit. This is why I know that I need a church home. So I am asking you to grant me conformation on the place I come to worship you in and send peace to me, encourage me, strengthen me, and remove the hurt that has stained my heart concerning the church, in Jesus Christ name. Amen.

Hurt in the Church (ouch!)

Getting hurt in the church is one of the main reason why people dont come back, someone has spread a bad rumor about that person, or someone told something that was in the strictest confidence to

someone else and now the truth is around the church or maybe someone is envious or jealous of someone else gifts or talents; There could be a hundred reasons why a person was hurt by someone else in the church. Many members starting out in church have a name and that is baby saint and most baby saints have a picture of what a church should be and how it is suppose to act, perfection should be in church, everyone loving everyone, sharing, fellowshipping with smiles, being best friends, hugs and kisses,,STOP! This is something that should be but remember Christians are a work in progress and Christians are born again, that means that he/she have to be taught how to live holy, righteous and just; being born again in Christ Jesus does not mean your instantly pure and perfect, the new testament tells us constantly to improve ourselves and to keep ourselves unspotted from the world. We are a work in progress, we have to be taught how to live holy and the new testament tells us, how to love, to be friendly, to be compassionate, to be kind, to help one another, to be patient with one another and so on but if a Christian doesnt stay in the word of God and practice to live according to the word of God then he/she has failed instantly and he/she will be sitting in the class of holiness only to repeat the course again, and again. You see Christians must practice living saved each day the Lord allows them to live and the only way to practice living holy is to stay in the word of God, because the word of God is a cleanser, the word of God convicts you that you are wrong (it doesnt condemn you to feel damnation), the word of God delivers you from strongholds in your life. Praying constantly helps build your relationship with God and will cause you to be more sensitive to God word and obedient to him. Another way to becoming a good Christian is to continuously worship the Lord and worship him in truth. Meaning be honest with God, tell the truth of how he makes you feel and why you love him. Lastly fast, I wouldnt suggest a thirty day fast if you are not strong in the Lord but maybe a one day fast or maybe a two hour denial of food or soft drink. A fast is not always food; a fast could also be denying television or your cell phone, maybe hanging out with friends. When you show God that you are willing to sacrifice things

that are important to you just to spend time with him, whether in solitude, meditation, worship or praise, you are on your way to a healthy relationship with God; now that is a good Christian. So if you know of a Christian that hasnt lived right maybe he/she is lacking in those areas and it is very important for you to pray for them because they have strayed away from the truth. So when your strong in the Lord you will know how to deal with church hurt a little better because you will know the truth of how a real Christian should live and follow Christ and if your fellow brother or sister is not acting Christ like just know they have strayed from God in one way or another. Chapter Three Prayer for protection Lord God, I give thanks to you, not just being in my life and not just supplying all of my needs but also for being my protector, for keeping me from danger and far off danger, for protecting me when I even caused myself to be put in danger. You had mercy on me and I thank you. Father God, I ask you in the name of Jesus Christ for a protective covering over my family and me, I ask that you will be merciful and watch over us while we yet live. To keep us from the violence of this world, from tragedy of mishaps, from far off danger, and even accidental danger in the household. I pray that you will cover our home with your blood, every door and every window with your blood, just has you had told Moses to mark the doorpost with the blood of a pure lamb and the enemy of death would pass over the children of Israel, so I also pray that you mark our door post with the blood of Jesus Christ. Shield us from break- INS, robbery, intruders, home invasions, fires and carbon monoxide. I pray that you would cover our children with your blood, keep them safe from seen and unseen danger, when they get self willed and puffed up in their own way have mercy on them and keep them, when you speak to them and tell them to go right to avoid danger and they turn left, have mercy and make a way of escape. Keep them from crowds of destruction, keep them from peer pressure danger, set your guardian angels on the left of them and the right and have their back Lord

God. Protect them in school, on the playground, in their classes and on the way to and from school, grant them traveling mercy when they take transportation to and from school. When we go out of town Lord God protector us on our Journey there and back, when we are in unfamiliar places keep us safe, the food and drink that we will consume watch over it removing anything harmful and deadly, bless it in Jesus Christ name. Keep us from being victimize, bullied and mistreated. When we consume water from other states and country keep us safe, when we know no one gives us trusting people to help us and give us favor in the land. Protector us from diseases that come from this land and man, keep us save from epidemics, known and not known diseases and cover our health and well being with your precious blood, In Jesus Christ name. Amen. Selfish prayer or not As you may have notice prayer is not eloquent words, or hard annunciation of words, prayer is simple again speaking to God with a true heart. I want to let you know that prayer is much needed in your life. Some say there is no special way to pray and others say there is a formula of giving thanks and praise and then to put in your request to God. It seems to be that when you acknowledge God and his good works with a pure heart it sounds fair to me that praising and thanking him before you ask of him things that you want just makes good sense. How would you feel if your love one or spouse constantly kept asking you to always do for them but not one time has they acknowledge how much you mean to them, or how helpful you have been in their life, what if they never said thank you for everything that you have done for them. How would you feel about it? Well put God in your place, God does want you to acknowledge him and his good works, (1 chronicle 16:8, Psalm 30:4, Revelation 11:17), even his word states to acknowledge him (Proverb 3:6,) In all your ways acknowledge God and he will direct your path). Let God know that you have him on your mind, tell him that you love him and need him, for without God you can do nothing. Many people and even Christians develop a pray lifestyle that is so selfish it leaves out God and his goodness and mercy to them. Many

people pray selfishly only wanting to please their own self; wanting things to bring them glory to satisfy their flesh. It is okay to pray for yourself dont get me wrong, maybe you want good grades in school and ask the Lord to make learning easier for you, or maybe to help you pay or bills or heal your body but prays that are selfish would be praying for a five bedroom house that you have no intentions on helping others in a time of need when they are homeless but just want it to show off, or maybe a luxury car that you dont intend on helping out others with a ride because you dont want them to mess up your leather seats but gladly drive pass them and wave showing off, or maybe you want fancy clothes only to throw away your other clothing items instead of giving them away to someone in need. Remember God not only knows your heart he also knows what your intentions are the minute you get what you want. Father God I ask for the spiritual gifts that will edify the body of Christ, if I had to pick one it would be (________), I know that you have many gifts, the gift of healing, prophesying, interpreting tongues, gift of praying, gift of discernment and many more, however I pray for the best gift that will encourage your people, the gift(s) that will draw men unto you, the gift(s) that will draw me closer to you. Always bring my mind into remembrance that it is you that has blessed me with this/these gifts and not in my own power. Always bring in my heart and mind scriptures of humbleness and meekness so that I do not get puffed up and high-minded. Help me to train my mind in spending time in the word so that I can be ready to answer any man questions concerning the kingdom of God. Father God help me to forgive and let go of all the hurt and pain that others have caused in my life, those that have used me, turned their backs on me, talked badly about me, turned others against me, scandalized my name, stolen from me whether it was material or stolen the love in my heart for them, those that deceived me, those that mentally hurt me, physically hurt me, those that casted me out and those that unintentionally hurt me. Help me to get over the fact that the very ones that hurt me are those that are close to me, family, friends, colleagues, children and spouse. I never would have thought hurt could come from the ones that I love but I see that it is true but I do not have to live with the hurt, so I am asking that you would deliver me from the hurt, the more I read your word, the more I pray and the more I go to the house of the Lord let the word manifest in my life to deliver me from all the pain and anguish that have lingered on me. Each day that you allow me to wake up help me over the hurdles of my pain and hurt, counsel me on how to love through the word, how to forgive through the word, cleans my heart from hurt that has had me anchored down. When I see the people or person that has hurt me, remind me of your word of forgiving, and send your peace. Give me power to hold conversations with them, to be cordial with them, even to be a help to them but give me wisdom on how to protect my heart, wisdom on how to not get hurt again, for your word states Guard your heart for out of it are the issues of life but I cant do this alone I need you by

Now Lord help me to forgive myself of all the times I allowed myself to be used, to be tricked to be manipulated, help me to forgive myself for not letting go the past, present and not accepting a bright future for myself. Help me to move forward from unforgiveness to a brighter future. Help me understand that I need to let go of all my mistakes and faults in order to see how you see me. Grant me joy, peace, understanding and knowledge in you to help me over this hurdle of pain that I have brung on myself and that others have caused and let me start to see a brighter future in Jesus Christ name. Amen. Prayer for loss Father God I need you more than ever, I need you to hold me and rock me in the cradle of your love, and I need you to lift the pain and loss that I am and having to endure. Give me the peace that I need to survive this loss, give me the strength to make it through. Console me, encourage me strongly. Just to insure your confidence, everyone has a bad day or two in praying. I remember I very depressed and didnt know why, I could feel the pressure around my head just tighting like a rubber band and what was worst is that I was a baby in Christ, so I didnt know what to do, I called several people that knew the Lord and how to pray and I got several opinions on what to do but in the end I had to pray for myself, I didnt know what to pray for(funny because what I should have been praying for was to get my mind right) so I prayed for my mother, it was a simple pray, I just wanted the Lord to protect her and take care of her. Well no sooner than I closed my eyes and folded my hands

in prayer the Lord gave me a vision of my mother walking, it was amazing, I saw her hair, the clothes she was wearing. It was like looking at her in High Definition. I found out later that God allowed me to see through his eyes and boy what a sight it was beautiful, the colors, the brightness. I guess what I am saying is that I had a pray that I knew was not strong and didnt have much words but God heard my prayer and he proved it by letting me see my mother while I was praying. Some of the greatest ministers and pastors have prayed prays that they thought was not good enough but God hears, Be honest with God, use words that you are use to, be yourself and God will honor that more than a prayer of fancy words you cant spell anyway. God is faithful and true and his word says those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. If you are not use to praying or your praying life needs to be refreshed start praying for love ones, take time out to pray for friends, pray waking up, lunch time, in the shower, driving to work, in the grocery store, get use to praying everywhere and at anytime, trying praying around noise, praying in solitude, praying doing multiple task. Train your mind to pray at a moment notice. The more you pray the more you are building your relationship with God and the more God will communicate with you. God will bless your pray life, you get a newer anointing and more wisdom in your prayer walk with God. Chapter Four Prayer for Education Father God, I would like to pursue an education in ________________ I have an interest for awhile for this and I know that this is something that I would like to pursue further. God I want to make a difference in my profession, in my life as well. Father God I can not do this by myself because I know school is very challenging and has its ups and downs, so I need you there

Father God while I am in school please provide for my household, put food on the table, please pay the bills on time and in full, keep gas in the tank and bus fare readily available, keep rent/mortgage paid and household essentials stocked, allow money to be saved in the checking account(s), let nothing go to lost or scattered. Father God grant me new friends in my journey of education, mentors, counselors and advisors, give me favor with the financial aid advisors and show me which extra curriculum club I should join. Bless me to get good grades because a C average will not do, bless me learning to be easy for me even the hardest class, open up my understanding in academics and allow me to become of high honors and excel with an outstanding grade point average. All things belong to God and all things were made by God and without him were not anything made. God knows your desires and he wants to bless you but often times Christians forget to spend time with God, Christians forget to pray,

Christians forget to read the word of God, they forget to go to church after doing over time at work, Christian make more time for the world than they do in spending time with God. God doesnt want you to forget where your help comes from, he doesnt want you to get puffed up, he doesnt want your heart polluted in the world systems of doing things, this is why God says seek him first because when you seek God first and truly seek after God, God will begin to make ways in getting you that possession you desire but you must be sincere in you spending time with God, he knows if your serious in him. Go after God as you would go after that jobs you want, or car you been dreaming about or that spouse that you have been eyeing. Go after God with truth, love and honesty. What makes you interested in him what makes you want to spend time in pray with him, what makes you smile when reading his word. If you have no interest in reading his word, no interest in praying and fasting, no interest in going to different levels in God, building his kingdom and having a relationship with him then this is a whole waste of time for you. You first must love God and want to draw closer to him, if your interest is backwards and you are a Christian you must start from the beginning and reevaluate your walk with the Lord God. You must realize that you are not as excited as you use to be in him, your attention for him is not the same, you dont come to church expecting to hear and feel God. Your zeal is off or gone. Dont despair God doesnt give up on the backslider, first start out and repent for not spending time with the lord, for being lazy, for wasting the precious time he has given you, not praying, fasting, and seeking him with a pure heart and honest heart and then start and to worship him only; that means go back down memory lane and remember what drew you to him, how he helped you over those hurdles, healing your body, healing your mind. Encouraging you, protecting you when you knew you should have be hurt or worst, blessing you when you didnt deserve it, start to remind him of how great he has been to you, how much he means to you, thank him from A to Z of everything concerning you and your family. Then give him your time in internet, cell phone, turn down God, refuse over time and dont in the word of God, praying and prayer, turn off that cable, that your dinner date and spend time with go in on your day off, spend that day build up your most holy faith in God

AGAIN! You might be saying to yourself well youre not paying my bills or you dont know I have a busy life and family. That is true but I do know when a person wants something so bad that he/she will make time for it and if you make time for God he will help you with your bills, he will put organization in your family planner but you have to give him the first chunk of time, even if it is twenty minutes a day before work, sacrifice and God will clear the way and help.(Trust me I know) and dont just start and a week later believed you put in time and now you expect to get results, God is not a lottery machine, you cant take a gamble on life and expect God to move when you pull the lever. Listen if youre not going to be sincere about spending time in the Lord you cant expect to receive miracles, blessings and an anointing from God. Put God first, be honest with him and live righteous as you know how and will give you the desires of your heart. Prayer or intimidation Just to recap about prayer; you must know by now that prayer is talking to the Lord God, it is not in eloquent words or the length of prayer but it is being honest and praying with love and expressing yourself with truth with God. Sometimes prayer given by someone who is more seasoned in prayer can be intimidating, listening to him/her saying the exact words on just what to pray about or warring in the spirit through prayer on how to tear down Satan attack on man. Binding and loosing, tearing down strongholds and rebuking the devour is a lot of work but just remember these men and women of God have been praying and fasting for some time and some have even been given the gift of prayer. Just know that when you pray, God wants you to pray with honest, a clean heart (your heart must not have unforgiveness in it) and with love, remind him of what he has done for you, remind him of his word, remind him that you are man and he is God. Everyone wants to feel loved and everyone likes a compliment every now and again. So why not God, he created the earth and the fullness there of, he created man, he is a healer, a protector, a provider, a mind regulator, a marriage counselor full of wisdom and power. Remember pray the way the Lord has given you to pray; if you have an urge to pray for countries, or strangers or certain churches or maybe

Prayer for nutrition Father God, I thank you for my health and strength and I thank you for allow me to be able to prepare and eat on my own; I thank you for providing my daily bread. God you created my body a great engineering tool, you made everything work together and everything is in need of each other and because of that Lord God I will take great maintenance in taking care of it. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you will look in and bless my health lifestyle, give me an appetite for fruits and vegetables, an appetite to eat healthy snacks, to learn how to cook healthy meals and shop for healthy items. Remove the taste of unhealthy foods that would allow me to gain weight and would interfere with my vitals and organs. Remove the taste and appetite for rich fast foods that will cause for me to gain weight, bless me to learn how to make healthy home cook meals that will nourish my body and keep my mind active. Give me ideas and inventive ways of how to cook with fresh vegetables and fruits Give me a thirst to drink plenty of water and remove from my taste buds soda pops, energy drinks, alcoholic beverages and sugary drinks. When I am on a budget and funds are low give me wisdom on how to shop healthy and buy meals that will sustain me and my family for days. Give me strength, power and the enthusiasm to exercise within my limits, help me to organize my time to fit in exercising, walking and any cardio that will fit my lifestyle. Look in on my metabolism and regulate so that my body will stay firm and fit. Bless me to have wisdom to set aside some time whether it is five or sixty minutes to exercise. Now Father God bless me to understand that I can only achieve what is in my power to do and to know that everything else will take you get me through. Remind me not to be hard on myself when the weight does not come off or results are not as fast as I would like them, remind in

me to be patient with myself and not to over load myself with guilt, overworking my body and under eating to get results in Jesus Christ name. Prayer is a process Praying is for the most part a process, although it may seem that some are gifted in praying and some are but still life is a process and so is prayer. When you were young, you were told to pray that God will keep you and your family safe at night or you would ask God to bless your mom, dad and siblings and that is far as you would go before getting in the bed. However you know now that prayer is more detailed than a few words. The majority of people are not taught how to pray to God and they are definitely not taught on how God responds to prayer but the keys in a successful prayer life is to spend time in prayer, attend a bible base church and attending Sunday school and bible class will help tremendously; these are the keys in learning about Christ and learning what God expects and what things he has promised to those who would follow after him. Now if youre the type of person that dont pray a lot or u dont have time to pray because of work, family or your just plan busy, the good news is that you are allowed to pray and shower, pray and shop or pray and drive, there is no specific time of day to pray, prayer is universal and pray is three-hundred and sixty five days of opportunity and twenty-four hours and seven days a week of communicating with God, for the word of God says he will not sleep or slumber(Psalm 121:4), God doesnt take breaks or vacations like us; God is the God of generation to generation. So dont be hard on yourself if you have a full day and you can not devote an hour to God in pray, God understand that you have an active life, start off thanking God in the shower and then while your pouring your orange juice thank him for your daily bread, while your locking up your house and car thank him for those things as well, you see it doesnt take long at all to thank the lord just remember to do it and when you have decided to you have accomplished instant on the go prayer, move on to praying on your lunch or bathroom break or when your standing in line to get your coffee, remember God word says pray without ceasing.(Roman 1:9) Also If you can try setting your alarm clock thirty minutes early before your regular time of getting up and devote that thirty minutes to prayer, God will be extra please that

you took that time for him. Just think if you get impressed when your spouse cancelled his/her plans just to do what you want what do; well what do you think God would think about you cancelling that extra thirty minute sleep for him. Now if youre the person who believe that youre not worthy to even seek God in prayer or maybe you went backwards and left the church and stop praying or you have done wrong in his sight and it just no use in praying because God wont hear you or answer you. Well guess again! God is a forgiving God; that is why he sent Jesus Christ into the world so that you can repent and ask the Lord to come into your life and receive salvation. Nothing that you have done would cause God not to accept you into his arms if you are serious about repenting and accepting him into your life full-time, Remember God has seen everything unimaginable and heard some very unholy things. Just only repent and repent means to be seriously sorry for all the unrighteous things you have done in his sight and not to do them again, for example if you have stolen hundreds of dollars worth of equipment from your job or you have lied to get some one in trouble, or maybe you have had an affair with a married person and you repent asking God to forgive you and acknowledge all your wrong and you seriously need God to come in your life and help you and save you from sinful nature then good but if you repent and had good intentions for God to help you and you go back to stealing, lying and adultery then God can not help you because your not ready to be helped. God will hear your pray once he knows that you are serious about being with him and sometimes I have seen people ask God for things and God will do it in spite of them going backward because he wants to prove his love to you but to gain the full love and attention from God it is best to surrender fully. There are so many benefits in serving God and honoring his word. (Psalm 68:19, Psalm 103:2, Psalm 116:12). Finally for those who think I dont know how to pray or what to say or even ask God for, well great news for you too. God doesnt look for fancy words or long winded pray, he is looking for someone to pray honestly from the heart and his looking for you to acknowledge him and to know that with God all things are possible. (Psalm 15:2). Always thank God for what you have first and acknowledge that you trust him and then proceed to ask of him your desire. Talk to God has if you are talking to a friend, tell him your secrets, problems at work, issues in your marriage, because guess what he already knows

and you may think well if he already knows why do I have to tell him and the answer is simple! He just wants you to talk to him to build up a relationship with him. Chapter Five Prayer for unsaved love ones Father God you are a God of peace, love, compassion and hope, you God have created man and woman and you told man to be fruitful and multiply, you allowed men to raise families and to bring forth new generations. You God are a God that believe in families, you created Isaac from Abraham and Isaac you created Jacob who became Israel a nation of your people and from Israel mistake you adopted the Gentiles; for you are a God that rain on the just and unjust. Now God I ask in Jesus Christ that you help and guide my family to the road of salvation, that you would introduce them to the word of God in a way that each one understands it for themselves and that at every opportunity that you would make available the word of God. Help them to seek you in pray when in trouble and when in pain, guide them to the right church home that speaks the truth about Jesus Christ, let them realize that this church is where their blessings flow, peace comes and deliverance of problems. Once you reach them start to remove the built up pain, bitterness, anger, hurt, unforgiveness and everything else that is not like you. Teach them your word so that they can continue to grow in you, bless them so they know you have not forgotten them. Give them spiritual leaders that will teach them holiness, give them a desire to seek you and learn more about your word, give the want and a need to go to bible classes concerning the word of God. Give them a desire for the Holy Ghost and show them the evidence of speaking in tongues, show them your wondrous works.

Teach them your will, precepts, law and commandments so that they may teach their children and their children may bring forth a generation in building up the kingdom of God. Let them realize that your will should be done in their life so that they may continue to walk on the path of righteousness. Now you may say how you repent, well first what is repentance: Repentance is being deeply sorry for all the sins of your life. Looking on your life and all the things you have done that you have been ashamed off or you know was wrong, know that all this time God has looked at your sins and judged you according to your sins, also know that God has the power to give life or death, that he has the power to give everlasting salvation or eternal damnation. That one day man will leave this earth and for once his choice is made by God and not himself and that is everlasting life or eternal damnation. You must be tired of living a life that doesnt prosper, a life of pain and hurt, a life of suicidal thoughts, a life of defeat, and a life of abuse, neglect, unforgiveness a life of mental and physical hurt, poverty, fear, doubt, the list goes on and on. You must be ready to surrender your life unto God believing that he will set you free from all burdens and that salvation(freedom) is the key to success for God word says ( John 8:36) If the son shall make you free, then you are free indeed. The son means Jesus Christ. So when you are tired of being sick and tired of all the things you are going through, turn your life over to Jesus Christ for the word of God says (John 6:44) No man came come unto me (meaning Jesus Christ) unless my Father which have sent me draw them and I will raise them up on the last day. So rest assure when you repent, remember this scripture (John 6:37) All that the Father gives me shall come to me and him that come to me I will in no wise cast out. That is a guarantee by Jesus Christ. So know that when you repent being truly sorry and decide to turn your life over to Christ he says in his word (John 6:35) I am the bread of life, he that comes to me shall never hunger and he that believe on me shall never thirst. This meaning that God will take care of you all the days of your life, not just with your bills and finances, but with peace, love, forgiveness, joy, healing, comfort and all the desires that you have hidden on your heart. Just come with a pure heart, a heart of forgiveness, honesty and a heart ready to repent. Your words do not have to be fancy or long, here is an

Lord I have done wrong in your sight, Lord I acknowledge my sins and ask that you will come into my life and rescue me, save me, save me from destroying myself, save me and help, I surrender to you, let your will be done in my life that I may be saved and have everlasting life. Amen. You maybe saying God loves everybody, why should I surrender and it is true for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever come to him may have everlasting life. See the key is whoever comes to him may have everlasting life, that is the key to access your pray life, that is the key to speak to God and him speaking back to you. This is how you please God by surrendering and giving your life to Jesus Christ, by being honest with him and accepting that he know what is best for you and that what you have been doing all these years have not gotten you anywhere and that God will for life is better, so you might as well try it his way, because your way have not been working. Remember God first, pray and honesty will always take you very far with God and he will be please with you.

Prayer for Marriage in trouble Father God, you said in your word to call on you in a time of trouble, you said in your word to cast all my cares upon you for you careth for me. Lord God you honor marriage and you honor family. I thank you God for my marriage and family, I thank you for blessing me with the experience the joy of children and the joy of companionship. I had my good days and I had my bad days but each time you brought us through. Sometimes I see my marriage headed for the court room and sometimes I see my marriage being shattered but what you have joined together let no man put asunder. Father God it takes two to make a marriage work and I do not put the total blame on my spouse but I know that we both need to work together. So I pray that you will come into the middle of our marriage and that you will be at the forefront of our marriage guiding it into prosperity.

Touch our hearts and deal with our minds strongly that we should put you first in our marriage, that we should pray concerning our marriage that we should trust in you that you will pull us through everything we go through in our marriage. Give us a mind to talk things through that we can not agree on and the things that we have problems with deal with us in our dreams for solutions, speak to us while we work, at home with the children and handling daily activities. Help us to respect each other and each other opinions, put leadership in our marriage, leadership in finances, taking on responsibilities and leadership in household and family activities, show us who is more stronger in what area and wiser in what area so that we can avoid arguments, help us to accept each other advice when we have taken on leadership roles, help us to be more flexible in when taking on household responsibilities, help us to love, honor and respect each other. Give us wisdom to raise our children right, give us a mind to come together in agreement in disciplining our children, help us to stand by each other side when a decision is made concerning our children, so that the children do not tear apart our marriage by trying to one side of each parent. Give us a mind to seek counseling when we can not agree and our arguments are more than are I love you to each other, give us a mind to put everything on the backburner so that we can work on our marriage. Let us both be open minded to accepting whatever solutions work for our marriage. Give us peace in our home, peace with each other, peace with our children, peace with our in-laws, give us peace with a solution that is made we both can agree on. Build a hedge around our marriage that no man, situation or problem will tear us apart. Cover our marriage with your blood. Put your word in our marriage that we may look to you for our help. Look in on our intimate lifestyle and put more pleasure in our bedroom, give us a pleasing in our hearts to please each other instead of ourselves, give us wisdom on how to spice up our love life, bless our sex life to be intensified. Give us flexibility on what would please each other, give us respect on not to pushing

sexual stress that we have not agreed on but allow us to come up with alternatives that will take its place. Now God seal this pray for marriage in your blood that it prosper and be blessed in Jesus Christ name. Amen. Prayer for after a divorce Father God I thank you for the opportunity for marriage, allowing me to live a life of championship, a life of honoring my spouse, thank you for the opportunity to have a family of my own. Thank you for getting me down the aisle (or court room). I look at all the good times that I had with my spouse, the moments that we did share that will be lasting, the times that we pulled together in strength to conquer our problems, the times that we laughed, the time of the birth of our children (or not), I want to say thank you, I experience marriage and all its benefits and those will be the times that I cherish. I put the problems of my marriage in the past and I leave it there, I will not dwell on the hurt and the embarrassment, I wont allow the sting of my marriage to stop me from moving forward in my life, I look forward to a new life, a new beginning and I will start by putting you first God. I pray for strength in my divorce, I pray for strength in getting use to being single again, I pray for strength in handling our children (if there are children involved), are pray for strength in accepting my spouse new life and whomever they choose to be with. I pray for strength when I am sleeping alone and strength doing things by myself. Give me peace through my divorce proceedings and peace after it is all done, give me peace with the friends that we shared, and my spouse family, give me peace when have to share custody of the children(or not). Help me to stabilize my finances because now my income will change, help me to budget properly, though I may still have a decent income. When the income of child support comes in, give me wisdom to do the right thing with the money, when I have to pay child support remind me that the money belongs to the family I once supported and still need to support. Keep our children at peace with us while we go through this trial, give us a mind to respect each other in front of the children, look

in on our children and touch their heart to accept this change, allow them to be strong and not to take sides, be them a mind to adjust and give them peace through this trial period. Now God help us both to move forward in our lives accepting new beginnings, help us to start a new chapter in our lives, give us peace to even come together for the children sakes on those holidays, and special occasion, give us peace with the ones who even will be future spouses that they may accept the change with our children. Bless us in our separate ways, that we may put you first in our lives. Amen. Marriage and what God thinks about it Marriage is honorable to God, it says so right in his word (Hebrew 13:4) Marriage is honorable in all and the bed is undefiled. God loves marriage, he honors a man that will find a wife, it says so also in his word (Proverb 18:22) Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtain favor from the Lord. God created Adam and gave him a wife because the Lord says in is word (Genesis 2:18) It is not good for man to be alone. Ever since then man have been getting married, even in the old testament man have married women for various reason besides love(this you will have to research in the old testament yourself: Hint Deuteronomy) and today people are marrying for various reason besides love. Marriage goes deeper than a man and woman falling in love and buying a house; first of all marriage is between two people; man and woman (some states offers same sex marriages) that have decided to make a commitment under the eyesight of God and make it legalling binding in the state that they chose to marry in. They have acknowledge to the state and before God and family and friends to ever share their commitment of going through trials of financial burdens, sickness, family problems, problems outside of the home, children problems and so on. Marriage was meant to be a bonding agreement to last that is why you have to register with the state in which you marry in. If you notice it is not easy to get out of a long marriage, there is a lot involved and a lot of money to seal the deal of divorce, but it is so easy to marry and inexpensive too, hmmmmm, very interesting. (something to think about.)

Marriage have different meaning for different cultures, countries and nationalities and so to attack marriage as a whole would be wrong, some cultures are still using arrange marriages, others to continue traditional inheritance and some marry to carry on family legacies but still after all of that marriage is suppose to be long lasting. Some cultures use tattoos, piercing and markings to symbolize long lasting marriage. As of today marriage has not been regarded as long lasting. It takes a lot of work to stay married; it also takes creativity, communication, open-mindness, time and forgiveness. Marriage is about compromise, flexibility and open-mindedness. I have always been curious to see people taking years to plan their dream wedding (which usually last three hours), but most couple dont take time to plan for their marriage; going to counseling is great but it does not set the tone for situations that will occur down the road; for example, changing jobs, sickness, in-laws, financial set backs, old exs appearing to wreck havoc on your marriage, intimacy issues. You should know your partner well enough to discuss and plan for things that may arise; these are the things that will be important not a two minute walk down an aisle, sure you will have a lasting memory but your marriage may need to be saved down the road. Marriage for Christian couples (or saved couples) still apply and much more because marriage in the sight of God means that you are not only legally bonded to this person but if you get a divorce, God still consider you married, no matter how many times you got married down the road, the first one is what God is looking at. Here is the scripture to prove this: 1 Corinthians 7:10 speak of a woman staying married to her first husband and if she separate from him and marry another she will have committed adultery but if she goes back to the first she is considered married. Some will argue this scripture concerning staying married, however if situations occur to where a woman is being physically abused or her life is in danger, some will continue to stay in a marriage and endure; others will opt out for a divorce. I personally feel that God wants us to be happy because God is a God of love and peace not a God of evil and I believe that the Lord will forgive that person and will allow that person peace after the divorce. Sometimes we has human make decision based on that feeling at that moment and we dont look at the picture down the road, we dont look

at the signs in front of us, we just let our hearts take over and run its course but the bible says guard your heart for out of it are the issues of life, God knows that temptation and pleasure lurks about and he just want us to be sure not to fall for every thing. Look at marriage as a legal contract and not as a honeymoon trip because marriage takes a lot of work and should not be taken lightly. Getting counseling before marriage and doing premarriage retreats also will be a big help and if you are a Christian always seek counsel from your pastor. Prayer for building up self-esteem Father God for many years I have had negativity in my life, from love ones and friends, from those who I have trusted and loved, I had the worst things spoken in my life, I have felt the pain of hurtful words that crushed my confidence and self-esteem. For years I have not believed in myself, or believed that I was worthy of love, worthy to have someone good in my life, I believed that I should take only what I can get and try not to do better because better was not meant for me. I didnt see myself good, I didnt see myself as a person that deserved good things, I always felt sorry for myself, my motivation level was at its lowest, I didnt know how to bring myself out, I allow depression to grab hold of me, I allow misery to keep me company. I didnt have a reason to live, I didnt have a reason to be inspired to live, nothing in my life seemed to turn out good, and nothing in my life was worth looking forward to. Then I met you God and you changed my life, not overnight but over time; you showed me what real love is, you showered me with it, you held my hand in love, I thought love was a fairy tale you read about but you showed me love is stronger than an argument, love is stronger than jealously, love is stronger than a disagreement, love is stronger than hate, love is stronger than disappointment, love is stronger than unforgiveness. I didnt know there were many levels of love but you showed me love never fails, love never gives up and you didnt give up on me, even when I gave up on you, when I stop praying, when I stop going to church and when I stop having faith, you still loved me and because of that you made me believe in myself, you made me take a look at myself, you made me believe that maybe there is more to me than just this sad person inside you made me believe that there is somebody greater on the inside, if you invested

your time and love in me and didnt give up on me, then I need to rethink who I am and that I am grateful for. I pray for a full turn in my life, I want to know who I am all over again, I want to experience getting to know the real me, every negative thing that I heard from my parents, friends and those who I thought loved me I ask that you wash it away, give me a clean slate, a new of thinking, new creative thoughts, new and positive outlook on life, believe in myself, believe that anything is possible. I seek a new attitude, an attitude that I am more than a conquer through Jesus Christ my savior. Bless me to be put in positive situations and to hear positive words to help me grow in my self-esteem, put positive people in my life to encourage along the way and remove every person that has been a negative influence in my life that spoke negative things in my life, I need a new slate. When you created me you had a plan and destiny for my life and in that time I have allowed myself to be side track by things, people and words that took me down the wrong way, now I ask in Jesus Christ name that you will show me the real me, teach me the real me, help me discovery the real me the me that was originally suppose to be. The me that you had all along.

Chapter Six Emergency Prayers There comes a time in a person life that saying your morning prayer or bedtime prayer may not be enough. There may come a time when an emergency is in front of you and there is no time for that twenty minute or thirty minute prayer or even to recite a psalm. Have you ever recalled a time say immediately was Jesus or are prays as well, remember it for or long drawn out prays, it God God for his when the only thing you were able to Help God, believe it or not those is not the fancy words God is looking is the honesty.

eyes is everywhere and you may say how is that possible how can eyes be on me that is in trouble and the man across world praying his child, how can God know and the answer is I dont know! But word says The eyes of the Lord are every where, watching over

the good and the wicked (Proverbs 15:3) and if his word says it then I believe it. God knows what is happening everyday in your life, he even knows what will happen in your future, which is why you sometimes have dreams and years or months later it comes true (not always), so when you come upon a situation and you find yourself in a emergency please pray because God does honor E.R. prayers and he does see everything. So what qualifies as a E.R. prayer, anything that is short and to the point, and anything that is honesty and true, sometimes your prayers are one worded; for example help! God! Jesus!, Please! Sometimes all you can do is cry! Or look up to heaven, sometimes you might even moan but God not only hear your prays but has compassion before you even pray. I recall a time when I and my nine year old nephew just gotten on the expressway and I started picking up speed to merge into the next lane and all of the sudden my gas paddle sunk down to the floor, I immediately panicked and the first thing that race to my mind was my nine year old nephew who by that time felt something was terribly wrong, I had to remember to stay calm so that my nephew wouldnt panic and all that I remember saying was Jesus! Help! I had just enough power to pull over to the shoulder on the expressway, I was so grateful that my breaks were working but I knew I wasnt out of the woods yet; I still was in danger on being on the shoulder of the expressway. I had my nephew get out of the car for safety reason and I immediately called a friend to come and get us off the expressway, mind you he lived at least forty minutes away but God! He knew I was in trouble way before I even got on the expressway and I believe God had prepared two men who had just gotten off of work to come to my rescue who had witnessed my car in distress and one of the guys happen to know about cars. I was nervous a little being a woman and having my nine year old nephew with me but I had to take a chance and trust them because I am stuck on an expressway in the middle of rush hour,(so you can imagine the cars whipping pass very fast) and within ten minutes I was back on the express rolling more carefully, I cannot recall what was wrong but I do know that the young men did fix the problem and the friend who was forty minutes away was not able to assist me quickly. It was amazing that God already had a plan to have someone there and God allow me not to drive so far in the expressway were a accident would have been greater to occur. Emergency prays are

always important and it doesnt matter what situation you are in an emergency is an emergency. Another excellent way is to do a group emergency pray, that is when you may not have the strength to pray or you just want to send up many prays to get the attention of God, for example: When peter was in jail and the disciples and other women were praying all night long for peter safety and while they were still praying God had sent an Angel to help peter escape. So you see emergency pray does work, God hears your cry and honor your prays because you believe that he can rescue you out of problems and God wants to show is glory each and every time. Unanswered prayers Have you ever prayed for something or someone and you never got an answer, well I know I have! I prayed for an individual and for certain things but God just wouldnt honor my prayer request and for a while I was kinda of upset with the Lord because he knew I really like this person or I really wanted this certain thing but he just would not answer my request. As time went on I realized that God is a God of love, peace and he wants me to have the same thing but of course I didnt know that so I decided to help God out and strike up a meaningful or least I thought a meaningful friendship with that certain someone and wouldnt you know it the guy was a Jerk! Grade A Jerk! As a matter of fact, I was glad that I didnt invest too much time into that person and after feeling relieved that I stop talking to the person I realized God wanted to spare me from heartache. God knew the heart of this person and he knew this person was not right for me. I am God child and God doesnt want to see me with just anybody; just like your parents wouldnt want to see you with just anyone. I had to realize then that God just wants me to be happy and he wants the best for me. When God doesnt answer your prayer request sometimes it could mean several things, for one it may not be time for this particular thing to come to pass, maybe it is something more God needs to teach you, it might be patients or how to handle a situation better, possibly being nicer might be the problem, this is the time to seek God in prayer and ask him questions. It also help if you find out why you want this particular prayer request done and what will it mean if God does answer it and is this request in God will for your life and if

this request is in God will for your life why would he not answer or will he answer later. Seek God concerning the questions on your unanswered pray request and God usually answers sometimes right away sometimes not maybe it is something else he wants you to concentrate on instead. For example I went into the market to buy a house, I got approved, search for homes and found one and put down earnest money to get it, I figured that God would answer the prayer request because he knew I wanted a house and the word of God does say ask and it shall be given but unfortunately I didnt have the rest of the money to close the deal so the house went back on the market and my dreams of owning a home went up on a shelve collecting dust but the silver lining in this was the economy went belly up and I would have been one of those homeowners who lost their home because afterwards I lost my job. See! God knows how to protect from your own natural disaster, it wasnt time for me to get a house and God knew that but I didnt I wanted to do this without his help, I figured he would just give me want I want since I ask for it but God is concerned about his children he is concerned about our well being. Always remember that God is your father and he only wants the best for you so before you decide to venture out and do things on your own remember to think first, is this something God wants me to do is this in his will, the answer is to pray! Seek an answer first from God no matter what it is; is this the right person for me, should I buy now or wait, should I invest, should I marry, should take this job or that one, believe God will answer because he knows exactly what you need right away. Unanswered prays are also warnings! God will not answer a prayer request if it will endanger you, sometimes God will give you warning through dreams or signs (sometimes), for example going on a trip he a foreign country, you may think it is fantastic but God sees the danger ahead or maybe
marrying the guy who just proposed maybe God doesnt want you to be with him because of a secret violent past he has. It can seem frustrating that he prays are not being answered but that is were patients kicks in, you must consult God in prayer before making certain decisions. For example the president of the United States goes to his advisors before he makes a decision on taxes, war or anything that will effect the American people, he knows that counsel from advisors will make his decision the best decision possible and that is how you should be with God consult with God who is your advisor and he will make the best decision possible for you and just know his decisions are not to hurt you but to help. In God word it states that I come that they may have life and that more abundantly (John 10:10).

56 Emergency prays are as affective as any other prayer it is just activating faith behind it that makes God respond. Unanswered prayers are also meant to just wait! It doesnt mean no it just mean wait and a lot of times we has humans do not like to wait because we want things right then and there.

How long should I pray for something Most times we when we pray for something it is usually on our minds for a week and usually by two weeks if we dont get a response right away we move on to something else to pray for. So how long should you pray for something? The answer is until you feel comfortable that the Lord will answer your prayer. Some people have been known to pray for a month for a particular thing some only a few days. Usually when a person have peace in their heart and find comfort in God handling their prayer request he/she usually moves on to another prayer request. The best result would be to ask God to give you peace after you have prayed for this request, ask him to give you peace until that thing you want him to do will come to past. Sometimes you may have an urge to pray again for that particular thing and that is okay. Sometimes God is fixing things that you cant see and he is working it out in your favor and sometime there are hold ups in the spirit realm that causes that particular thing you want to be delayed, sometimes for months which is why it is important to pray until you have peace. When we pray to God rest assure that he does hear us and just because that particular thing you want God to do has not been done yet doesnt mean he isnt working on it, for example you may be praying for a particular job or job position and it has been a month already now two months and your going into six months now but what you dont see and know is that the position that you have asked God for is being made for you, God may have to remove a particular person from that position or he may have to give that person another job position as well to open up the one for you. There are so many things going on in the heavenly for us that we sometimes miss the small picture. Some people may feel praying one time is good enough and that God heard the prayer and it doesnt make sense to pray again if he heard the first time but I am convince that praying consistently for something is a act of your faith. God said in his word to pray

without ceasing, (1 Thessalonians 5:17). So if you feel an urge to pray again for a thing, then by all means do it; it could be God telling you to pray because something is being held up and needs to be release just by your prayers only. The truth is we may never know why prayers are not answer right away, each situation is different and God moves in his time and when the time is right and only he can justify when that time is. My pastor would always say, Prayer changes things and prayer changes conditions and I have seen for myself the result of consistent prayer, the more you pray for that thing the more you build up your faith that God is able to do it. Dont worry about worrying God, he can handle it; its people that get tired of one another. If something you have been praying for have not come to pass and it has been awhile then ask God concerning that thing, he knows if you should receive it now, later or at all, I remember in the bible that Paul wanted God to remove a certain thing from him, I dont know what it was, if it was sickness, a habit or a condition who knows but God told Paul that his grace was sufficient enough (2 Corinthians 12:9). God has his reason in why certain prayers are not answered regardless of how long you have prayed but seek God for an answer and he will give it to you. The key in praying for something is consistency and faith, also asking God for answers and asking God for peace until that thing comes to pass. A lot of women are praying for husbands, some want husbands to look this way or act this way and some just want a husband breathing and walking and most wait years for their mate some only months, it has been ten years going on eleven and I am still waiting but sometimes when God plans for you to have something whether it is a mate, job, new place, car or whatever you have to remember God uses people to make everything fall in place and if that person is not following God and doing what God has told them, then sometimes it takes much longer to receive what you want. I remember dating this guy and he received conformation and so did I that we were meant to be married, however he had other plans and wanted to do things his way and in his time, he wasnt ready for marriage, so there for ten years later I am waiting but never the less God always have a back up plan, it just takes time to put people in place and change situations and if your not the patient type then you are in big trouble because if you marry the wrong person or get the wrong

house then your praying for God to change that situation as well. Ask God for patients in what you want and to give you peace, it will make things a lot easier. I am not saying you are going to have good days all the time, sometimes the devil will try to remind you of what youre waiting for but that is when you need to ask God to refresh you with peace and patients. Remember asking God no matter how many times; doesnt worry God it not asking God that worry him.

Should I pray for better sex life in my marriage?

This question should not be an embarrassment but unfortunately for many it is, a lot of marriages are suffering due to lack of communication, finances and sexual tension in the bedroom and most married couples would prefer to sweep that topic under the table, some whether seek the advice from friends and their pastors and some seek marriage counseling but if you want results it is always good to seek the Lord. I know some you are chuckling right now and saying what does God have to do with my sex life, well honestly God does play a role in your marriage, if you are a Christian couple you should know that God is the head of your marriage and God only wants the best for you and your family and if the slightest thing will tear a marriage apart including sex, well God is concerned. Remember in the new testament of the bible Paul states that a man and woman should not deny each other sex unless it is a mutual agreement and only for awhile because Paul knows that the devil would use any opportunity to tear apart a marriage. As you know sex does not hold a marriage together and it should not tear a marriage apart either. God created intimacy between a man and a woman to create life and if there are issues in your marriage concerning sex then by all means pray to God about. Some issues are concerning what women will not do and what men want the women to do, some issues are concerning the women not interested in sex any more and the man may not be sexually attracted to the woman, some issues may require counseling and other issues may require for husband and wife to get away for a weekend. In the end it is good to always seek counseling from God and not to be embarrassed about it, remember God created intimacy, he created man and woman to come together sexually so he is way ahead of you. There is nothing that is going to shock God concerning sex. There is no question to embarrassing for him so go into your secret closet and pray. Remember God said in his word that marriage is honorable and the bed is undefiled. (Hebrew 13:4). So to him your bed is your playground; so if you need pleasure in your sex life ask God to increase you and your spouse pleasure for one another, if you need to be comfortable in performing a certain sexual act, ask God to either give you courage or give your spouse patience, whatever it maybe just pray that God move in your bedroom.

In the mean time if you must seek counseling by all means do it but dont stop praying, eventually God will answer, he may soften the heart of your spouse to be more attentive to you or nurturing, he may increase pleasure or give you a desire to be more adventures in the bedroom, dont under estimate God, he does things that amazes people all the time, in the book of Joel, he told Joel to marry a prostitute, so that he can show how the children of Israel were disobedient, of course the prostitute constantly ran away and hung out in her natural life style but eventually after having children and God dealing with her she settled down, although it did take some time but the point I am making is that God used a man of God to marry a prostitute to make a point. Again dont under estimate God and what he can do. For those who are about to marry, make sure you and your mate agree about certain things in the bedroom, make sure that your mate is not the kind that cant live without sex, because if that is the case and you are not able to have sex for whatever reason, you might want to make sure he/she doesnt have a wondering eye to cheat on you. If your not a Christian couple dont despair, still pray and everything else still applies to you as well, just know it might take way longer for God to answer because your mate doesnt view the values of marriage from a Christian point of view the same and so he/she may not listen to the voice of God or shrug off God speaking to them. You tried everything else, so now try God and let him work it out for you in the bedroom. Remember he is the creator of sex and know the solution to every problem.

Should I pray in public?

Recall in the book of Matthew Chapter 6:6 that praying in private does get God attention, the Pharisees and priest wanted to pray in public and because of that God gave them their reward which was having the attention they were seeking for. There have been different cultures that have been known to pray in public, some kneel others use their arms and hands for gestures but to honor God is to pray as he has suggested and that is privately, now there is nothing wrong in praying in public just as long as it is done discreetly. Some pray while riding the train to work, others grocery shopping, some at the doctor office, remember God knows the thoughts of men so to pray silently is okay with God. There are times when praying in public is appropriate; for example: your church decides to go out and win souls to Christ and so church members go in certain neighborhoods and pray for those who are wanting prayer but just dont know where to start or when someone is hurt outside and an emergency is called to pray in the spot of the injured. Now you may say what is the difference; why should one person be excluded and another permitted but the truth of the matter is praying in public out loud concerning your life and personal issues or even for the hungry or peace on earth is not something that is done orderly. Meaning God is a God of peace and a God of order and he does not want people believing that they can conduct their self in any way and expect to get results from God. Your relationship is with God and to have a personal relationship with God you must commune with him privately. For example when you are out with your spouse and you guys are having a wonderful time and all of a sudden a couple of friends show up and want to hang out with you two but you just want to be alone, you dont want to add to special time together with others who have no idea of how you feel about each other so, you excuse yourselves and continue on in your private cozy day out; enjoying each other company. God wants to commune with you he wants to have a relationship with you, he wants you to tell him your problems and he want you to believe that he can solve them, he doesnt want to share your business with strangers who eaves drop but cant help you like God can. This is why it is

important to have private time with God, so you can get to know him and he can speak to you, whether by thoughts or dreams or even spoken words. Praying in public should be done to bring about a change; a change to win souls a change to save a life a change to deliver or a change to change some things but to pray for your self stay in your private closet God will love you for it. Chapter Seven Prayer or confusion by the enemy A lot of time we as humans do grow weary of praying especially if we are praying for a certain thing, we tend to let our pray life slide downward a bit because we dont see the reaction of our constant prayer life being manifested and this will challenge are faith in God. Someone can easily say to you hold on and be strong but it really isnt that easy, if it was that easy to hear words of encouragement there would be less depressed people but the truth is, it will take more than a mere man words to encourage you; it will take the word of God and God strength to help you through. Reading the word of God and praying can be very rewarding if you take a little time to understand that reading the word of God can translate into prayer time, many people read the book of Psalms because it is a form of prayer and sometimes when your not able to prayer there are various of different Psalms that can encourage you. Sometimes praying can take its toll on you and you can get over whelmed and sometimes it can lead to frustration, which in turn can make you decrease your prayer time but when you see this start to happen this is when you need to ask God to bless your prayer life because the enemy(Satan) does not want you to have a prosperous prayer life, Remember God is a God of peace, a God of order, so when you find yourself frustrated, confused and cant pray the most simplest prayer it is time to talk to God, even if it is just to say help me God in my prayer life, give me strength and peace when I pray. Satan will do whatever he can to distract or discourage you from praying that his job but your job should be to never give up and

pray still, even if it is only for five minutes; it is important not to break your communication with God, trust me he knows that the enemy is trying to distract you but he also wants you to be strong and pray still and when God believe that your strength is failing that is when he will come in to refresh you, so dont give up when you think you have prayed the worst prayer or when you think God didnt hear your prayer, God always hears and answers prayer. I remembered a time when I was a baby in Christ and I so agitated and the enemy was bothering my mind and I just keep pray good at all, this lasted for the better part of the day but I didnt give up and decided to go in the bathroom at work and pray, I did not know what to pray for and decided to pray for my mother, well I closed my eyes and folded my hands and the next thing I know I saw a vision of my mother walking, it was so crystal clear (better than HD TV) that I saw what she was wearing and how she was wore her hair, I immediately left out to call my mother but she wasnt there and when I did get her by the end of the week I asked her what she was wearing on the day I saw the vision and she told me and wondered why, well of course I knew the Lord showed me my mother at the same time I was praying, the prayer that I felt was the weakest prayer ever, the prayer I thought God did not hear at all but Lo! And behold God allowed me to see through his eyes at the same time I was praying for my mother. Since then I was convinced that God hears even the weakest so called prayers. I can only say to you pray but you have to have the desire and will power to do it, you have to have it in your heart never to give up on God because he will not give up on you. You have to FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! Fight to stay alive, fight to live, fight to survive, fight to keep your mind, fight to hold your life together
and if you have a family you have to fight to keep your family too! It is no easy battle, no battle is but it is up to you if you want to fight in the battle, do you think your family is worth it, do you think that every thing you have gone through is worth losing now, do you believe all the problems you endured is worth just giving up now. Sometimes giving up is not the answer, for example let just pretend you are in college and you are now a junior with one more year to go and in order to move on to be a senior you would need to take a special exam and the cost of this exam is a hundred dollars every time you take the exam. Now let say that you have taken the exam three times already and you are on a

65 strict budget, you cant afford to take the test again and besides for that the test last about three and a half hours, you are so frustrated that you feel like giving up, so what do you do? Do you take all of the education, time being up late at night studying, book fees, loans, study groups, getting up early for class and staying late for class, sacrificing hanging with family and friends is worth throwing in the towel. Truly all the hard work is over and now is time to glide in for the victory; add up all the pain, struggles and heartache and carry them over to show that your victory is not in vain. Remember staying strong in prayer is never easy at times but always look at what you have gone through to see what is worth getting and you make the decision to win the battle or lose to all the struggles you have gone through.

Does the devil here my prayers

When we pray to God we expect God to hear us and rightly so he does and unfortunately the devil hears youre pray too. Remember the enemy is the prince of the air which means that he can get into the thoughts of men and in order to get into the thoughts of men the devil must hear the voice of men as well. Recall in the book of Job 1:7 when the people came before God to honor him and the devil was right in the mist and God asked the devil what was he doing there and the devil replied: Going to and fro in earth. The enemy is right there when you wake up and when you go to bed, he is there when your being tempted and when your being tested. His job is to keep you oppressed, depressed and confused, he has an assignment to keep you from your destiny and promises of God but rest assured that God also have angels that are assigned to make sure you get to your destiny and promises. When you pray to God out loud or in silence the enemy knows what you are praying but the enemy doesnt have the power to stop Gods plan only to hinder; only you can stop God plans by giving up. Should you be concerned because the enemy hears your prays, well consider this; God created every thing in heaven including Satan and Satan was there with God when God created you and sketched out your destiny, so of course Satan is going to listen in on every thing you have to tell God because his job now is to hinder and try to stop you from completing your destiny. I would say be concerned that God is hearing your prayers and that God will answer your prayers. Has you grow stronger and older in the Lord God; you will learn how to rebuke the enemy and how to bind up the enemy schemes and plots. There are many books related to defeating the enemy and how to pray defensively but continue to stay in the word God (the bible) and you will start to grow as well.

Dont Forget: stay closely connected to God in prayer and God will take care of you, even though the enemy does eaves drop, remember it is God that gives the victory. How come God does not answer sinners prayers The bible tell us that the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much (James 5:16), also 1st Peter 3:12 states that The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and his ears are open to their prays but the face of the Lord is against him that does evil. You

67 have to remember that God is a holy God and he loves righteousness; he is also a just God that judges fairly. Let me use as an example a father who has four children and let say that they are all boys and lets also say that these four boys were given chores to do in and outside the house, well two of the boys not only completed their chores as they father told them to do but they also helped their father with a project he was doing but the other two sons decided to sneak off to the arcade and steal quarters out of the gumball machines in a hardware store and by the end of the night all four boys wanted to go and see a movie and needed money from their fathers. Now you can guess what happen next; well the two boys who were obedient did all their chores and help their father not only was given money for the movies but he also gave them extra money for snacks and for arcade games but the two boys who were disobedient and lied to their father stating that they completed the chores not only did not get money for the movies but they also were put on punishment and sent to their room with no television. Look it is really simple God does honor honesty and righteousness and for those who have continued to sin against God word and against his commandments he will not answer. The whole reason why Jesus Christ came into the world was to save sinners from death, God wanted man to have everlasting life and to have a wholesome and fulfilling life on earth and the only way to get to God is through accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior and repenting of your sins (meaning being truly sorry for all the wrong you have done), this is the only way of a connection with God. Righteousness is always right with God and I believe righteous life will always give you brownie points with God. living a

Is it right to pray for wealth? When Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and me it was not just to save us from eternal damnation but it was also to give us a full life on this earth. Jacob who later became Israel was a rich man, Abram who later became Abraham was a rich man, David who later became King David was a wealthy man, Job who lost every thing and his children later was given even more beautiful children and more wealth, Esther who was a Jewish virgin who later became Queen Esther was married to the King and became wealthy of course, Solomon who was the son of King David was so wealthy that Queen Sheba had to visit him, the children of Israel left Egypt with much treasure from their enemies the

Egyptians, Joseph who was sold by his brothers into slavery became Governor under King Pharaoh was very wealthy and lived a prestige life, these are just some of the people of God who became not only wealthy but had prestige, fame and honor. Understand that God didnt automatically give them wealth, there were some trials that they had to endure, there was time that passed before they were able to receive honor, wealth and prosperity and there were enemies that they had to watch out for. It was not easy, wealth had to be earned and God had to trust them with the wealth, he had to put them through test after test and you may say that it is not fair but when God invest in time in you and loves you he doesnt want to see you go backwards he wants to give you so much but you have to be able to handle it mentally. So to the answer is yes it is okay to pray for wealth but dont just pray for wealth pray that God will give you wisdom to handle wealth and the things that come along with it, pray that he always keep you with a humble spirit and pray that he reminds you daily about blessing others. Wealth is not about how much you can buy where you can go and who you can boss around because of your money, wealth is being sensible, having wisdom, respecting money and how to spend it and wealth is about be a blessing to others less fortunate than yourself. Remember just as God blessed you with money; he can easily take it away. Prayer for my children Father I thank you for giving me children, I thank you for allowing me to come through each child birth and Father I thank you for giving me the opportunity of being a parent; allowing me to have the money to care of my child/ren. I had some ups and some downs; I even wanted to throw in the towel from being a parent. Times were very stressful and it seemed that I need more help than I was given but Father in the end you preserved me in strength. Now Father I pray that you will help me raise my child/ren and be the head of my household giving me council on what to do in child rearing. Give me wisdom on how to raise my child/ren and

give me peace when I have made the right decision, peace when I have to go up to the school when my child/ren is in trouble, peace when they are a bit to much to handle, peace when I have to take them to the emergency room, Lord God I pray for peace in raising my child/ren. Father God give me patients when life is out of control raising my child/ren, love for when I dont love myself enough to teach them good morals and values. Father protect my child/ren as they grow up and keep them when they go in their on way. When they are places they have no business have mercy on them to escape, when peer pressure make them do things they ought not give them strength to flee, cover them with your blood Jesus and protect from danger seen and unseen. Protect my son from the violence of this world, protect them from gangs, retaliation, gunfire, stray bullets, mob fights and keep them out of the jails and out of court all the days of their life. Protect my daughter from the monsters of this world, pedophiles, molesters, rapist and cruel boys and men who mean them no good, keep them safe in school and at home and as they grow into ladies bless them with wisdom in choosing the right mate, keep them out of abusive relationships all the days of their life and give them friends that will respect them and appreciate them, remove and keep them safe from jealous girls and women who come to do harm. Give them good health throughout their life, and put passion in them to live a healthy and productive life. Bless them to get a good education and to obtain their Bachelors, Masters and Doctrine, bless them to be successful in life and prosperous, give them Godly wisdom, bless them to be able to afford their education and give them a mind of success and a mind to believe the impossible. Bless them with a mind to be humble for their many successes. Now Father save them and baptize them in your son Jesus Christ name, draw them in with your loving kindness, let your word overtake and undertake in their life, give them the church home

you choose and not them, let your blessing for them flow in church, bless them to work in the house of God, fill them with spirit, overshadow them with your mercy and instill in them love and Lord when they stray from the house of God, draw back in for you are married to the backslider.

I give my children back to you because I need you take care of them and teach them, I know you will do what is best for them. In Jesus Christ name. Prayer for child in jail Father God, I know that your word is true and your word is powerful and sharper than any two edge sword, your word cannot lie because it has been settled in the heavens since the beginning of time. Your word states in proverbs 22:6 that I should train up a child right and when he is older he will never depart from it. I have done the best I could, I have given my child/ren the wisdom to live right in this world, I have reprimanded them justly for your word says in Proverbs 22:15 foolishness is in the heart of a child but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him and Lord you know how many times I had to chastise my child/ren, you know the many punishments that I had to hand out, for your word says in Proverbs 23:13 with hold not correction from a child; for if you beat him with a rod he/she will not die. I know that I can only do so much and I know that the wisdom that I have given them was sometimes not Godly wisdom and sometimes it was, I also know that outside influences have settled in the head of my child/ren and now he/she have gone in there own way. Father forgive me for not doing all that I can when I knew I should, forgive for allowing myself to let things slide when I knew that I should have chastise him/her, days when I came home and all I wanted to do was rest and didnt punish my child like they should have been, exposing them to outside fluencies that I knew would be wrong and not taking the time to love them when they wanted to be love and not my child is confined to a life that has no freedom.

Forgive my child/ren for their transgression, their sins, forgive them for blaspheme, forgive them for unbelief, forgive them for turning from you word. Have mercy on them Lord, I know Father God that you judge fairly and I am not denying their wrong but I am asking that you being a God of chances that you would have mercy on them and save them, deliver them and bring them out. Give them an earlier release, give them favor with the attorney, the judge and even the jury, set his/her sentence, be the judge over him/her for you judge fair. While they are inside prison walls, speak to them, speak to them in dreams and through the unusual. Let only the word of God come and all imitations be scattered. Help them to learn a trade, help them to receive education and good healthcare and even though the prison walls are filled with convicts allow him/her to receive a friend, now cover them with your blood and put a hedge around them, in Jesus Christ name. Take care of them all the days of their life. The power of prayer As you have read that prayer is not in eloquent words or lengthy speeches but prayer is expressing yourself to God and laying everything you feel in your heart to him and by now you should know that prayer can take time to come true or it came come quickly it is in the hands of God, for God moves in his time not ours for Psalms 90:4 states a thousand years in thy sight are but yesterday when it is past and as a watch in the night and in the book of 2peter 3:8 it states that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years are as one day. Humans are the only ones hung up on time; God is a God of the future he can also go in time (future) and fix a problem before it even happens, so dont despair God knows when to fulfill your promise and he knows when to fix your problems, remember all things work together for the good for those who love the Lord God. Always remember to communicate with God, put God first in all things no matter how small the matter, he says in his word, cast all your care upon him for he careth for you. Dont take the

world on yourself it is too big for you but if you give your problems to the creator of the world he will be there for you. I want you to know that prayer is a life changer, prayer if you stay faithful does work. I am reminded of when I first received prayer at a church and I ask the pastor to pray that God would give me a spouse, house, children, money and so on and so on but what did she do she didnt pray any of that for me she only prayed that God would safe me and keep always in good health and strength. Needless to say I was upset and did not want to return to church again but as the years went on and I got saved, I realized that if God was to give me everything I wanted when I wanted, I would not trust him now, I would not believe in him so much, God wants us to continue to trust him and depend on him so sometimes he has to give you your blessings in seasons and teach you many things, he also have to try your heart to see if it is him that you want or the things that he has in his hand. So be patient with God because he is patient with you and your hangups, mess ups and faults. Prayer is very powerful but the only way it will be effective is if you believe that God is able to do what it is that you are praying for and if you stay faithful to God and persistent in your prayers, God will come through for you in his time.
