When Murphy Speaks-listen (by George E.

P Box): Murphy law says that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. He also said that every operating system supplies information on how it can be improved and if the information is used, it becomes the source for continuous improvement. First of all it is necessary to clear the concept about the system. Industrial manufacturing process might be the example of system or it might be just luggage handling etc. further author has given three examples of the systems faults, in which he has told that the people connected to the fault actually know each and everything about the origin of the fault but still, they do not take any action and feel powerless. One way to respond to the Murphy is the Edward Demings major culture change. Change in management philosophy is needed from managers who think they know each and everything to the managers who proved to be a good coach. There should be a close contact between supervisors and operatives, this leads to the less complications. The contact seems to be in a problem due to the barrier between the managers and the employees. Improvements result when a routine is in place whereby data coming from the system are automatically used to improve it. Improvements continue if each individual is working according to its responsibility. Three strategies that can be used to criticize the Murphys Law are corrective feedback, simplification and preemptive feedforward. Corrective feedback occurs when elimination of the system fault\ is done. Somehow this approach is wrong. One should identify the faulty data and should cure the faults in the system, rather than eliminating the faults directly. Preemptive feedforward is a process in which careful forethoughts or analysis reduces the occurring of the faults. This process acts as a precautionary measure to the faulty system until the better system is being devised. If the faulty system continues on its own, it leads to the complications. When the system becomes complicated, it leaves none of the traces of the simplification. The tools are required in order to catch the radiations coming out of the faulty system, which behave as the faults. These tools are discussed in the Ishikawas seven tools, which are check sheets, parato charts, histogram, stratification, cause effect charts and scatter plot charts.

The traditional view about the creativity was that it was only expected from the degree owners, but somehow creativity is residing within each and every person. Further two example are given about the usage of the tools in the system, which was related to the asthma patient making plot graphs on his health which worked better than his treatment. Quality effects the expectations. The importance of the quality improvement involves the revitalize economy, improves quality of life and gives experience to the joy of the creativity. This article had put the light on the many aspects about the quality, thus author expects from the media to aware the general public about the quality.
