About Aashritha:
Aashritha Helping Hands Community was established
in I.I.T. Kanpur, UP, India. A group of similar minded
students transformed their thoughts to reality, and
formed Aashritha. Aashritha began its journey on the
22nd of February 2008, with just a handful of
students. The community is registered as NGO in
India since 1st August 2008. Our Motive: "To provide
financial and moral support to underprivileged and
physically challenged children for their education
and thereby improve the average education level in
rural India with main focus on child education."
