IV. THE CASE STUDY OF WEB VIDEO CONFERENCING
SYSTEM FOR THE NETWORK TEACHING AND RESEARCH
ACTIVITIES
A. The Process of Teaching and Research
In this paper, take the interactive application seminars of
high-defnition video technology between Guangdong and
Zhejiang for example, carried out the effectiveness analysis.
This meeting realized the long-distance teaching seminars
among different provinces. It helps to share and exchange
different cultures, which is a good start to carry out teaching
and research activities. The network teaching and reseach
conference has two conference venue. The main venue set
up in ZhongChun Secondary School, Guangdong Panyu
District, speaker teacher is Zheng Li-xia. The point venue
set up in audio-visual hall, in Zhejiang Province, shown in
Figure 2, Comments Specialist are Education Department of
Zhejiang Province, the teaching and research staff, Cai
Shao-jun, audio-visual museum deputy director of Zhejiang
Province, Wang Hui-jun. The institute's director of the
audio-visual hall of Zhejiang province is Tu Yuan-cheng.
The main content of teaching and research activities are
junior language open course "poetry appreciation", experts'
class evaluation and interaction between two provinces.

B. Efects Analysis
This network of teaching and research bring a new
model for sharing resources of high-quality teachers, but
also strengthened the strengths of teaching and reseach. It
has set up a communication platform for teachers and
experts in two districts. Teachers living in different places
can understand the situation of education in different regions,
levels and provinces, to improve their teaching standards
and teaching effectiveness, thus enrich their professional
basis.
Delight IP 5.0 network video conferencing system has
many fnctions, such as video transmission of high quality,
interactive actively between teachers and students, and put
students in good conditions. First, break the time and space
limitations, fexible organizations, strong interaction. The
case achieved interaction of the teaching and research
between Guangdong and Zhejiang Province. The main
venue set up in Guangdong Panyu District, the sub-venue in
Zhejiang audio-visual hall. It avoids the troubles of running
around. The Interaction among teachers has more space. In
the traditional classroom, lectures are diffcult to exchange
experience with the school teachers. But, in the network, it
can share high-quality educational resources anytime and
anywhere, which overcomes the geographical constraints,
across time and space. All of these can improve teaching
effectiveness. Second, without face to face communication
between the speaker teachers and the comments experts, it
can promote diferent culture exchanges and share high
quality resources. Non-face communication, teachers can
avoid excessive tension and students can concentrate on
their studies. In the case, the process of Zheng Lixia's class
is relaxed, natural and humorous, it mobilize the enthusiasm
of the students. Educational specialists in Zhejiang observed
the teachers lectures through the network. They feel the
atmosphere of a lively discussion on the site and comment
on the teaching process, analyze strengths and weaknesses,
helping teachers to improve teaching standard. It can
promote exchanges and collision with each other between
different cultures. So that it promote the development of
teachers professional and achieve teaching and research
activities effectively. Thirdly, the class evaluation is
openness and transparency. By Delight IP 5.0 network video

conferencing system, the experts in two provinces can face
to face communication, express their view feedom, achieve
knowledge sharing. On the one hand, the network of
teaching and research can shae good experience with other
schools, really played a prestigious role of resources sharing.
On the other hand, you can also get off-campus counterparts
appropriate advice and actually bring a wider range of
teaching exchange. Thus it attacts more attentions to
education in all sectors to participate in the discussion. So
the new curriculum reform closer to real life. Shown in
fgure 3, by Delight IP 5.0 remote interactive teaching
platform, Cai Shao-jun, Wang Hui-jun, Tu Yuan-cheng
express their insights, observe carefl, look at others or their
own teaching, and then afer school discuss. So that all
members of the teaching and research participate, share and

the past. And because of the network delay, the statement is

Finally, through this platform, recording fnctionality

teacher fnd shortcomings, retain advantages and promote
the teachers improve their teaching. Afer class, teaching
process can be re-observe and refect, in order to discovery
and maintain the advantages, face and correct shortcomings
and defciencies. It promotes professional development of
teachers and enhances the quality of teachers, so give

C Problems
During the process of teaching and research, there ae
some problems such as microphone suddenly silent, the
image is not clear and so on. Network technology can be
seen to be frther mature. Due to the reasons of the
bandwidth and equipment technology, Network transmission
has the situation such as sound, images and other
information decay. Compared with the traditional teaching
and research, there is defnitely a different in audio-visual
effects. Therefore, by online video platform, teacher can feel
atmosphere of classroom, but still subject to the clarity of
the voice network transmission, video picture quality.
D. Suggestions and Comments
Before carrying out off-site network of teaching and
research, ensure the usability and stability of network
platform. It carries out to using the Interet and computers,
so there is a certain level of demand for the information
technology levels of the teachers and experts that involved
in the network of teaching and research. Network platform
in the implement process, we must pay attention to certain
requirements. One is Delight IP 5.0 web video conferencing
system operating environment, another is hardware and
sofware. We must ensure that the network platform is
stability and smooth, so that teachers can the network
class evaluating teachers' initiative. First of all, test
equipment to protect real-time voice transmission, clear
picture quality, sound and picture synchronization,
essentially simultaneously real-time interaction, does not
affect the interaction between the two places. Second, the
automatic tacking of the camera system should be fexible
and available, simultaneously recording medium of
instruction screen [8].
Network video teaching and reseach is only part of the
network of teaching and research, but there are also many
ways to compensate. For example, the establishment of
large-scale teaching and research sites, he use of instant
messaging sofwae, the opening of the forums and Blog, the
establishment of teaching resources network lesson, the
sharing of teacher lesson, instructional design and classroom
teaching video. All of these forms are now available at he
present, teachers and teaching researchers achieve inter
school teaching and research network through the network
teaching and research, using the interet to promote
interschool teaching observation. Rely on the advantage of
the various schools and the backbone of the power of
teachers, the establishment of regional network of teaching
and research entity, the establishment of the same subject in
different parts of the network between teaching and research
mechanisms to promote the common development of the
school faculty.
v. CONCLUSION
took participate in the high-defnition video
conferencing in the April 14, 2009, in Guangdong Panyu
District. At that time, I am aware of the far-reaching
signifcance of the network video education and research
activities. It had a good attempt for expanding and sharing
the high-quality educational resources. It also an applied
exploration for flly developing "campus communication"
program network fnctions. At the same time, it has brought
a new model for network of teaching and research and
teacher training. Network of teaching and research has set up
a platform for exchange of teachers between the two places.
It allows teachers to lear knowledge that can not obtain
form the book. In exchange, their mutual exchange ideas,
opinion, practice, ideas and so on. Their thinking collision
with each other, spaks produced in the collision process, it
is the sparks illuminate the road ahead of them. Through the
network can promote better understanding between teaching
and research, to promote cross-learing, to play role in
promoting the development of education.
