Presidents Report Every effort was exerted and every lead was pursued in carrying out the thrusts

A.ORGANIZATIONAL IMAGE
RENAP HAS STRENGTHENED LINKAGES WITH BOTH GOVERNMENT AND NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS:

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (DOH)

RENAP actively participated in the meetings/ dialogues, continuously conducted seminars, accreditation exam/ training for nurses and dialysis centers and actively supported thrusts and program of activities of DOH.

PHILIPPINE HEALTH INSURANCE (PHILHEALTH)

RENAP actively participated in the meetings/ dialogues regarding issues in dialysis and actively supported thrusts and program of PHILHEALTH

PHILIPPINE SOCIETY OF NEPHROLOGY (PSN)

RENAP actively participated and supported PSN thrusts and program of activities.

PHILIPPINE NURSES ASSOCIATION (PNA)

RENAP actively participated in the meeting/dialogues regarding continuing education program and issues affecting the nursing profession.

PHILIPPINE REGULATION COMMISSION Board of Nursing

RENAP has taken positive steps to help in the development of high level nursing manpower in its quest for excellence in the renal nursing practice. The president and other RENAP BODS attended invitational professional conferences and updates to constantly rise to the challenges of the modern times.

B. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Roadmap 2030 for the Nursing professional with the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA), Philippine Nurses Association PNA, Professional Regulation Commission Board of Nursing and other Nursing Specialty Group. Cor Competency (PNA & PRC BON workshop)

C. MEMBERSHIP
The intensive membership drive of the RENAP PRESIDENT, BOARD OF DIRECTORS and the Technical Committee resulted to an increased regular membership.

D. ETHICS AND LEGISLATION


The adopted new By-Laws of the Renal Nurses Association of the Philipines will be presented on the 2008 RENAP Convention and to the Securities and Exchange Commission for approval.
As I end my report 2011, I would like to express my deepest thanks to: God Almighty for His love, mercy and amazing grace.

Mr. Ronilo Quinio, General Manager Fresenius Medical Care for his trust and confidence and a staunch partner in uplifting the well being of dialysis clients and the development of professional Renal Nurses of the Philippines. Mr. Eduardo Rodriguez, General Manager B. Braun Avitum Phils. Inc. for his unrelenting support in improving the quality of life of our renal patients and in nurturing the RENAL nurses toward professional excellence. RENAP Board of Directors for remaining focused and unwavering in their responsibilities as guardians of quality health care.
