Stick with chocolate milk or a banana!

Teacher Tip:

Our math fact strategy of the month is combos of 10. Students will be learning strategies to make and break up the number 10. Number sentences include addition: 7 + 3 = 10. They can also be subtraction sentences: 10 7 = 3.

Instructional Focus:

When your child is doing Fundations Homework at night, encourage your child to form letters neatly and correctly on the lines. This helps to reinforce proper formation of letters! Rememberletters do not start at the bottom of the line!

Dont forget to send in $1 for the Hanover Education Fundation Bowl-a-Thon. Money raised for this event will help to support Hanover County Schools.

Timeline Projects are due on Friday! Enjoy this time to share fun memories with your first grader!
