JA Exploring Economics, a high school program designed
to foster lifelong skills and knowledge about how the economy works. In cooperation with
your teacher, a JA Worldwide (Junior Achievement) volunteer will facilitate seven interactive
sessions. During the program, you will have the opportunity to explore concepts across micro-,
macro-, personal, and international economics.

programas emprendedores o a unirse
a los ms de 3,000 voluntarios de
IMPULSA/Junior Achievement Mxico,
y as ayudar a estudiantes de su
comunidad a encontrar la relacin
entre lo que aprenden en la escuela
y el mundo del trabajo.

1. Voluntarios
Impulsa promueve la participacin de
voluntarios e involucra a ejecutivos o
profesionales en la operacin de los
programas. Adems de facilitadores,
los voluntarios enriquecen los progra-
mas con sus propias experiencias y
asesoran a los jvenes en el desarrollo
del programa. El tiempo que los
voluntarios dedican a la preparacin o
imparticin del programa es mnimo
comparado con el impacto significativo
que dejan los estudiantes: 7 sesiones
con una duracin de 60 minutos.
2 Escuelas
Impulsa contacta a instituciones
educativas con empresas y as vincular a
las diversos actores de la comunidad, los
voluntarios reciben a los estudiantes en su
empresa o en la institucin educativa.
Participan escuelas pblicas y privadas.
3. Capacitacin
El personal de Impulsa brinda capacitacin
a sus voluntarios para asegurar que tengan
toda la informacin necesaria en la juntas
con su grupo de estudiantes, se instruyen
en las siguientes reas; manejo de grupo,
utilizacin de los materiales y comuni-
cacin efectiva.
4. Materiales y contenidos
Impulsa proporciona un maletn con todos
los materiales que los alumnos deben
utilizar, as como un manual con las
actividades a desarrollar y una descripcin
detallada de los puntos a tratar en cada
sesin, todo lo que necesitar para hacer
valiosa su asesora en el desarrollo de cada
clase. Los contenidos son innovadores,
acordes con la edad de los estudiantes y
complementarios a sus programas
acadmicos oficiales.
5. Seguimiento y apoyo del personal
de IMPULSA
El personal de Impulsa est siempre
disponible para cualquier duda o comen-
tario referente a los programas, de manera
permanente se monitorea el desarrollo del
mismo, el papel de los voluntarios y su
vinculacin con los estudiantes.
A travs de una serie de dinmicas, Explorando la Economa promueve habilidades para la
vida y conocimientos sobre el funcionamiento de una economa, incluyendo temas de micro y macro economa, economa personal e internacional.
