GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATE


1) The candidates before appearing for the written exam should satisfy themselves regarding eligibility criteria desired for the post with regard to prescribed qualification, age etc. against advertisement released. Qualifying the written exam is subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria. Appearance at the written exam is, however, provisional and does not entitle you of any claim for the post. You will be treated as debarred ab-initio at any stage of the recruitment process in case you do not fulfill any eligibility condition for the post. 2) There are two papers in the written examination i.e. Paper I (Objective type multiple choice) and Paper II (Subjective type in English Language). 3) The total duration of the written examination is two hours (i.e.1000 hours to 1200 hours). However, the initial 20 minutes (i.e.1000 hours to 1020 hours) are meant for distribution and filling up of OMR Response Sheet for Objective type exam and Answer Sheet for Subjective type exam. The remaining 1 hour 40 minutes (i.e. 1021 hours to 1200 hours) are meant for attempting both the Objective type multiple choice as well as Subjective type in English language Papers. 4) Candidates are directed to appear for the examination on the specified date and centre of examination mentioned above. 5) You must bring at least 2 HB Pencils of good quality along with sharpener, eraser and also a ball point pen (blue) to mark your answer and filling up the OMR Response Sheet and Answer Sheet. 6) You must report at the centre of examination assigned to you at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination (i.e. 0945 hours).Candidates arriving 15 minutes after the commencement of the examination (i.e. 1015 hours) will not be permitted to appear in the examination. 7) Use of calculators or any other electronic gadgets including mobile phone, books or any other objectionable material inside the examination hall is strictly prohibited.

8) You will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before 1200 hours. However, before leaving the examination hall, candidate must deposit his/her OMR Response Sheet, Answer Sheet, Question Papers and also the Admit Card to the Invigilator. Failure to do so would result in cancellation of candidature. 9) Any candidate found using unfair means/reporting late without the Admit Card or violating any instruction given or doing any undesirable activity would be debarred from the examination. 10) In order to establish the identity of the candidate by the Invigilator, candidates are also advised to bring one Identity proof (Voter card, Pan card, Driving License etc.) with them .
