Important
This procedure for installation and configuration only has to be the first time that you install and configure their cameras. When you put a username, password or wrong wifi and camera is blocked, the same one hand has a small hole that says reset which allows the camera to factory settings, to do this with the camera turned on you to enter a PIN for 5 seconds and the camera will begin the process of formatting and reset, wait 2 minutes and the camera must be configured in its entirety again following these procedures. Note that resets a camera is going to lose users, keys, IP address and any information that has been posted previously. If you have problems with the procedures at the end of this document there is a support section with our address of electronic mail, skype and phone numbers to help you in your initial installation. If you believe that there is a failure the instructions in this manual thank tell you us via email to informacin@ssi.com.ve as you can as well help other people who also benefit with this document saving you the cost of a professional installer.

Watch video live locally See video in live in how remote. Record video on a computer on your local network Record video on a remote computer See live video using a mobile phone (Iphone, Android, Nokia or Windows Mobile) Set recording schedules Set alarms shipments by e-mail (when detects movement or when a camera is turned off) Each function in the list above is independent, i.e., to view live need not necessarily record that can be connected directly to the camera and see the live signal although the PC where this saving this shutdown. The same goes for alarms, of if a camera is off detects recording software when it loses the signal of any camera and recording software which sends notification via e-mail.

Security
Their cameras IP and the software of recording have several layers of security that you can use, but always so more important is that you take care of their key of access and that have criteria to establish the of a form safe. To ensure that any password is secure (and this can be applied to any situation in real life) we recommend: y Use combinations of letters and numbers, while most long best, y In the case of the letters do not form words in common use (home, its name, the name of his city, etc.) y You can use combinations of uppercase and lowercase y And most importantly, that you can remember it if needed again Each House you can put a user and key different, and at the same time recording software can place another key other than the above, this is his view of where wants to bring the security of their cameras. Check your computer regularly for viruses and Spyware, is a good security practice to try to avoid using USB flash drives that do not know their origin on their computers and avoid downloading software that does not know their origin on their computers.

Installing the software

To install the software and configure the language to recording software Spanish: 1) Place the CD in the box of your IP camera on your computer. 2) Surely the CD will automatically start and the following screen appears:

3) Install software telling DVS Image Center (is the 2nd option). 4) Optional: If has installed in his computer some program type firewall (avast, panda firewall or others) probably you ask permission to install the application of recording (DVS Image Center) this it makes because the application this enabled so can receive the signal of their camera through

Internet..

5) Continue the installation process by pressing the button

"next"

6) Press "Yes" to accept the software license

terms 7) Place your name in the first box, and in the second place the name of your company, if cameras are used staff put their name in both boxes, press "Next" to continue.

8) Select the folder and the hard disk drive where will reside recording, by default the system software is installed in the C:\Program Files\Collect Client\ folder, please note that the hard disk drive you select (in this case the C drive) will be the disk where recordings will be stored, you can add other albums where recorded by configuring the software later (for example you take on the C drive and disk) (D),

but always will use at least the disk by default is selected when you install the software. Press "Next" to continue.

9) As a prior step to copy the files click the "Next"

button 10) Once installed verify that start - > programs you have created a group called Collect Client, where the Group has not been created can locate the file in the folder c:\Program Files\DVSImageClient. exe (if your operating system Windows is in the folder Spanish will be c:\Program Programa\DVSImageClient. exe)

11) Download the update file to Spanish which is in the direction http://www.ssi.com.ve/tienda/index.php?route=information/information & information_id = 6 12) Unzip the single file that is inside and copy it in the C:\Program Files\Collect Client\Language folder (where you have installed the software in another folder locate and place in the Language folder file which descomprimi) (if your operating system Windows is in the folder Spanish) (c:\Program Programa\ Collect Client\Language)

If you have Windows Vista it is likely to on your computer will appear as follows:

Press "Continue" to proceed with the copy of the file. 13) Connect the ip camera to the router with a utp network cable 14) Start - > programs - > Collect Client must be a program called "Ip Camera

Control Center", click to open it, 15) If he asks user put admin and the key to leave it empty and press OK (you can check the check that says log on automatically when... If you are not him again to ask key to start the

If do not see you the option to "Spanish (Latin America)" return to step 12 and verify correctly copied the language in the folder file correct.

Configure IP camera
To configure each IP camera: 1) If you are going to configure several ip cameras for the first time, make this procedure from a one at a time (because of factory all our cameras ip from the same model have the same IP address is that on a label on the back of the camera) 2) In start - > programs - > Collect Client to give the program called "Search Tool"

3) With the camera connected via a network cable to the same network which is connected to the PC with recording software (eye: do not connect the direct camera to the PC must be connected the camera and PC to a router, switch or network hub; unless you have experience in routing in IP networks). When the camera is connected to a cable network at the front to change light (power) of red to yellow. 4) Click on the "Search" button and should show you the direction of the new camera (and already have other configured on the same network will appear other) 5) If not listed the IP camera automatically verify the following: . If your computer has a firewall installed deshabilitelo, remember that Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 by default installed Windows Firewall can disable you in Panel Control - > Firewall - > disable firewall, disabled once try again to give the "Search" button b. If you are using a router make sure that your router does not have a built-in firewall that may be stopping connections, so follow the instructions in your router to disable the firewall integrated than is c. Verify that the network cable this firmly connected to the camera and the router, to be connected in your router, switch or hub is must ignite a light that there is no device connected to that port. If it is the light on the problem must be the cable or has not connected the power adapter of the camera IP. d. If you have a network of multiple devices (router, firewall, hubs) we recommend you talk with your network administrator about the security settings that must be enabled in its network and the ports that must work its new IP camera. If needs helps professional any professional of el area of systems, computing, networks or technology it may help in this configuration of network, if it wishes to can contact us and explain us your configuration specific to support it with his installation. . 6) All IP camera need a unique address on its network which will be communicated (this is what is known as IP address), your network router also has a unique IP address, in the back of your camera box IP appears the direction IP that brings your camera by default, it remembers each camera on your network must have a unique IP address. 7) First identify which is the IP address of your router, you can do this by opening a command window (start - > run or start - > search programs type alli CMD and press enter (if you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 once you type CMD should

wait that you search your computer and display a program called CMD and click above)), there you will appear a window of commands (black), type ipconfig and press enter, at where say door of link default and is of the form XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX this is the IP address of your router (in my case in the following example is the 192.168.1.1), close the command window once has the address.

8) Defined in a map IP addresses to use for each camera, for example, if your wifi router is 192.168.1.1 can apply to one of the Chambers of address 192.168.1.200 to the next 192.168.1.201 and so on, the important thing is that the first three groups of digits are equal to your router (in this case 192.168.1. XXX) and that the last three are unique on your network to a maximum of.254 (there is no other) (computer, camera or printer that is using that number). If it is your company's network and systems personnel, they should indicate the direction in which his new IP camera should be placed. 9) Re-install the software "Search Tool" window, select the camera you want to configure (by clicking on the top of the camera that has appeared to give him "Search") and press the button "modify settings" 10) Put it in where it says "IP address" address is going to have the camera (in the example the first camera can be the 192.168.1.200), where it says "network mask" or "network mask" place 255.255.255.0; in where it says "Gateway" insert the IP address of your wireless router (for example 192.168.1.1) 11) For each camera edit and write down the value of the field that says "Data port" or "data port" (default is 81), you can place any value from the 8081 onwards, each House must have a value in the data of different port if you are going to monitor their cameras from the Internet. You indicate the 8081 onwards that some customers have told us that if you have other services on your network such as Web servers, print servers or routers tp-link can present disadvantages using low ports such as the 81.82,... 12) Place at the bottom where it says user: admin in where is the key to leave it blank and press save. IMPORTANT: If you do not place the username and password when you save will give an error that you can not save 13) If you can successfully save indicate you a short message that guardo "succesfully" 14) Wait 15 seconds while the camera restarts automatically single with the new settings

15) Now if you press the "search" button should appear the camera with the new address assigned 16) Repeat this procedure for each IP camera to install, Note : remember only the IP cameras certified by us as compatible with the system will appear, if the camera is not compatible you must use another burning software different from ours. If you have high resolution (series H) IP cameras, software is different from the of the cameras IP standard, you can not mix high resolution cameras with cameras of standard resolution in this software, use the provided software on your high definition camera to record those images in HD. Our cameras are compatible with commercial NVR such as Qnap or NUUO in case that has an atmosphere of IP cameras hybrid.

Steps to enter the administrative options from the IP camera

1) If this is the first time, connect the camera to your network by connecting the camera ip with your wireless router using a network cable. 2) Open a browser Web in a PC that this connected to the same network in where this connected the camera ip that you want to configure. The PC may be connected with a cable or wirelessly when East in the same network (or the same Wifi router). 3 ) P l a c e the URL http://XXX in the bar of the browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome).XXX.XXX.XXX:yy / where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the IP address which have been assigned to the House during the Setup procedure and YY corresponds to the data port which has also been assigned the House during the Setup procedure (if you forget that IP address has the camera open start - > programs - > collect client - > search tool and press search and will appear you different cameras connected to your network and the port that is assigned each) (por) (default data port comes in 81 if you do not change when configuring your IP camera) 4) To el enter you will request a user and a key: place user: admin and the key leave the in white (if you change the user, the key or both put their new credentials in these boxes. 5) On the screen that will appear if you have Internet Explorer click the ActiveX option (and read the next point of this procedure); If you have Firefox, Chrome or Safari press the second button (the lower). 6) Optional, if it is the first time you enter in the computer: If you have Internet Explorer and give OK to the dialog that it will appear the first time requesting permission to install an ActiveX control in your browser, this control will allow you to access the video live live in your Internet Explorer Web browser. If you have Windows Server must deactivate in the part of security elements ActiveX blocking to ensure that this control may appear initially to install ActiveX. 7) Once you enter wait a few seconds and a screen you with the image live from your camera. If it goes black image try to turn off (disconnect the cord from your ip camera), close the Web browser, return to connect and login again with your Web browser to the camera. If it keeps coming in black image and you have

Internet Explorer check in your Web browser security settings for an option that says "Block ActiveX controls...." Activated. 8) Optional: in some versions of Internet Explorer the same software can tell you to make changes to your security settings to allow your computer to communicate with the camera, for example, can appear a text like this:

Follow the steps that can indicate the text to resolve the problem that the software has been detected, if you have a problem and fails to delete this information contact us so that we can advise. 9) Optional: you can improve the graphic quality of the image, in the part superior right appears resolution: 320 x 240 or 640 x 480 select which pleases you most. Default is selected 640 x 480, but keep in mind that the 320 x 240 resolution occupies half of hard than the of 640 x 480 so disk space to use cameras if your hard drive is very small and you want to keep as many days of recording can download the resolution of the camera so that report to it more hard disk space, but instead will have less image quality. Also the transmission of 320 x 240 video your router will perform faster than the transmission of a 640 x 480 video so if your router this very overloaded traffic can use this parameter to help you. 10) Optional: Along with the resolution appear bars where you can adjust the graphic quality of the image, use them according to your taste and judgement brightness and contrast, we recommend you not place cameras with front sun because no camera can record in these circumstances (even a high-definition professional) levels of clarity. In this part of graphic quality much depends on the site where you go to install it. 11) In the part upper right appears a text that says "for administrator", press it and you will appear a menu in the part side left with texts, there is found in the menu administrative of the camera IP.

Connect IP camera to Wireless Wifi network

Close recording system

The recording software has an integrated security system to avoid that another person not authorized and PC access intentionally closed the burning software. When you gives the X in the upper right part of the sale of DVS Image Center to close it will appear a dialog that he requests user, password and the action that you want to.

, place user: admin. the empty key or the key that have placed you you the user admin from the burning software, in action out and select give OK at that time will disappear the images from the cameras and can give cancel and close window normally.

Configure your router to see ip cameras from the Internet

Once you verify that your cameras correctly view them within your local network, if you want to see them from the Internet you must configure the security settings of your router. All routers always have an option called Port Forwarding, forwarding ports, forwarding or virtual servers, depending on the brand of your computer can indicate any of these

options. It is this option of Port Forwarding where you have to tell you that any application that makes data YY port must forward to the XXX IP address.XXX.Its network XXX internal, must do this for each camera you want to view from the Internet. To enter the configuration of your router placed in your Web browser the IP address of your router (if not known in step 7 of the procedure of how to configure an IP camera appears to know the address of your router), surely it will ask a user name and password, so refer to your computer user manuals or placing the key assigned to the time to configure it. Once configure your router, you can enter each House with its public address on the Internet and placing each camera data port, for example: http://190.204.226.234:8081 if my public address is 190.204.226.234, and the House that I wish to enter is 8081 data port (if not placed the: 8081 or the number that corresponds to your camera may not enter), remember that if does not change data port at the time to configure your IP camera will surely it will port 81 which brings the camera default. To get to know your IP you can enter to the website http://www.cualesmiip.com/ and there will tell you your actual public IP. If not wishes to enter to the camera by its address IP but by a name (is very useful not only to remember, but those suppliers of Internet in Venezuela is common that change his address public IP everytime you is connect or each true time) can use the service Dyndns.org that has a version free by 30 days. You can also use any other service on your computer such as noip.com or any dynamic DNS service. If you want to see all of the IP cameras on a single screen, install the recording software again on the remote computer, but at the time of setting up each camera (in Server Group) rather than using the search button fill manually the camera with your public IP address and its port of data for each camera, the speed in which receives the images depends on your Internet service provider (both of which are physically cameras) (as your provider of Internet at the location remote. You can place up to 3 remote locations simultaneously without any problems if it has available Internet bandwidth. Below there are some paragraphs for most common routers in our country marks, make sure your computer is any of the following brands that will probably be the same or very similar configuration of port forwarding. If your computer is not of any of the common brands that we place in this document you can use the site http://portforward.com/ (is in English) and search there for your specific model of router and you are going to be an open ports on your computer. Please note that the data that will always require will be the IP addresses of each camera in your local network and data port (port data) each assigned camera has.

TPLINK
For example, if you have a router tplink, once inside the configuration comes an option that says Forwarding and below other than dive Virtual Servers

Press, the "Add New" button, the following screen appears:

Place for each camera in "Service Port" data port (YY) which have been assigned to that Chamber, in "IP Address" address IP that has been assigned to that Chamber, "protocol" leave ALL selected, "Status" leave Enabled and let the last option of "Common Service Port" with nothing selected (-Select One-), press the "SAVE" button For the TP-Link routers it is very important that you use the port 8081 8082 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 8081 8082 end_of_the_skype_highlighting onwards ports 81,82,83... uses internally the team and several customers have reported that in these low ports your router prevents them from see the cameras on the Internet.

BELKIN
In the case of the BELKIN routers there are two versions for older, to enter the configuration routers leave you a screen like this:

FOR each camera IP place on the list of polling stations "LAN Ip Address" the last three digits of the address has been assigned to the House, in "Description" place camaraX where X is a number that you identify that camera, "Protocol Type" insert TCP, LAN Port and Public Port place data port (YY) that it has been assigned to that IP camera at the time of configure it and check the box that says Enablebelow insert the same data but changing "Protocol Type" insert UDP and just select enable. (the IP cameras use two types of Protocol to connect both TCP and UDP and in these routers old Belkin does not allow grouping both types of Protocol in a same option). Once fill in all data for all their cameras remember to give the "Apply Changes" button otherwise lose the information you have written. For the router more recent Belkin will appear the following screen:

, Select enable to each camera IP, put in "description" a name anyone assigned to your camera (can be camarax where x is a number that it identifies any of their cameras), in "Inbound port" and "Private Port" place in both boxes (YY) data port assigned to its camera, in "Type" place "TCP" and in "Private IP Address" place the last three digits of the IP address of your camera. Replace the following line the same data but will change in "Type" by UDP. Once fill in all data for all their cameras remember to give the "Apply Changes" button otherwise lose the information you have written.

UBIQUITI
Those routers Ubiquiti are to use professional, these teams along with them Buffalo are the range high of routers and allow cover large distances and expand the profit of their antennas and a management more efficient of el width of band. For routers Ubiquiti use Ubiquiti Wiki and follow the procedure there indicate, the address is: http://www.ubnt.com/wiki/How_to_configure_Port_Forwarding

We have extensive experience in this area and manage several brands specialized in industrial use. The high resolution IP cameras may not be mixed with standard resolution IP cameras as those that are covered in this procedure, please contact us to advise you in your specific case.

Cameras for housing estates

Our cameras for exteriors are in common use in housing estates in conjunction with wireless networks of long reach, if you need this type of installation can offer you our sales and services configuration according to the requirements of its urbanization (amount of cameras, locations, points of electricidad, place of required Repeater grabacin,). For estates it is normal to use Wifi professional teams rather than the typical home routers, and also use antennas with higher capacity and customers CPE so that everything is connected wirelessly and do not have to break streets or houses to pass cables from a typical video security system.

Common faults
Slowness in the images received
This can have several causes, it may be that there is interference of electronic, electrical equipment, columns of concrete or metal beams located between the camera and your router IP, do a test approaching the IP camera showing slowness to your router to see if it improves the speed of transmission, if that is the case we recommend you (any of these options can solve the problem): 1. place the camera in another location, 2. change your wifi router location or your wireless router antennas 3. If your wifi router is removable antennas to place greater power antennas (them can be purchased at any computer store and is required on the basis to the number of db that need it, while larger number more power and coverage will have the antenna) If your router is multiple antennas and will replace them must replace them all equally. 4. Wifi networks are scalable, you can add another Repeater wifi router to your network and that this located at another location closest to the ip camera and it will receive less interference and connect your ip camera to this new relay instead of to your original router. 5. all IP cameras have the ability to connect with a network cable, so if the other options did not work you it is likely that at such location interference level is very high and should set a network cable from your router to the camera. 6. If wired isn't an option may at its location have many devices or wireless networks using the same channels, Wifi has 11 channels available for your router "talk" to their network equipment, but may neighbors also have wifi on the same channel that you are using, and if there are many neighbors (a typical building) is likely to have what is called "Overcrowded environment" which is that there are many networks using the same channels and generates slow and collisions from traffic to all networks operate slower. To improve this situation either or try changing your router's channel (we recommend 1 extremes channels 2 and 10 or 11 instead of the channels mostly used 6 and 9), a time change your router's channel must reconfigure each camera IP again so that it detects the new channel of your router in the administrative part of the ip camera. If you still have problems with channels you can purchase additional analysis service of bands Wifi in our online store (available only in Caracas, Los Teques and Maracay) to review such data at your location wireless traffic. This analysis of bands Wifi is to execute during a period of a few minutes a sample analysis of all the packages of surrounding networks with a specialized tool that we have and generated us a chart like the following:

That tells us where this more concentrated the traffic of the surrounding wifi networks and where we can set up your wifi router suffering less interference from neighbouring networks (for example in the previous charts the channel 1 is 40% of use while the channels of 4 onwards are to less than 3% of use)(, that surely our neighbours are all concentrated in the first channels and our network and will function better in any greater than the 4 channel). To purchase the service can do so by the link: http://www.SSI.com.ve/Tienda/index.php?route=product/product & product_id = 67 If you acquired us to us his IP camera, can be applied at the time of your purchase online the coupon: MICAMARAIP and you will get 30% discount on the cost of the service.

Do not appear available Wifi networks

When you "Search" within the administrative part of the ip camera in the Wireless option, not appears any Wifi network. Note: the "Search" button needs to be given multiple times (up to 5 have reported some customers) rather than appear their Wifi networks, this is due to high traffic on surrounding networks. 1. Verify that at the location EXACTA where this camera has other available wifi networks, can do this with a laptop or cell phone with wifi 2. If you see at least 3 bars of coverage, check in a your router that does not have "hidden" your network (SSID) identifier usually option appears as "Hide SSID" This causes that security nobody can see your network wirelessly, if this is the case enabled it temporarily while configuring your ip camera. 3. Temporarily place to effect of test your IP camera beside your Wifi router and check if your network appears to make "Search", if this is the case it is likely that your router does not have sufficient coverage to the location where the camera is placed. 4. If the above options do not work please contact us (in the next section technical support listed contact details) and it is likely that we will have to change the team.
