Im very excited to have you onboard as part of the Pure Romance team. The opportunities are truly limitless! As your Sponsor, Im here to help coach you in your business. I work very hard to make sure my team receives both the training and support they need to grow and maintain a successful business. This is just the beginning!

About Me
I have been working my Pure Romance business for over 5 years. I am married to John, and have two beautiful boys, Caleb who is 11 and Brighton who is 3 years old. Pure Romance has offered so many opportunities to me and my family. I have taken my husband on a couples trip to Mexico and to Las Vegas 3 times. I have been to Naples, Florida on board trips and have earned jewelry and cash for just running my business!! This has been the best experience I have ever had with a job. I love what I do and I love helping others through my parties. Another passion of mine is sharing the business with others! I am so excited to have you on my team and I hope that you find being a Romance Maven to be satisfying, with lots of support.

My coaching hours are the times I am in my office and available to discuss Recruiting, Hostess Coaching, party bookings, selling and other topics related to your business. I block this time off each week to provide one-on-one training and coaching tips for members of my team. During this time I recommend you have a computer and internet access available. When scheduling an appointment during my coaching hours, please keep in mind, I expect you to be at home and focused on the conversation so you can take notes for future reference. I reserve this time each week for helping members of my team. Please reserve a time and date to discuss your coaching and training needs regarding one of these business topics mentioned above. You can call or email me at any time to schedule a day to shadow a party with me or another member of our team.

Team Meet Ups: The entire Romance Maven team will meet to review the months Retail totals, introduce new Recruits, review any new updates from Corporate, cover training materials on various aspects of the business, answer any questions or concerns, share tips, recognize achievements, and reward any monthly/advancement incentives. My Conference Calls
This is another way I provide support, on a monthly basis, to Consultants on our team. You can use this time to introduce me to your new Recruits as well as connect them with other members of the team. I provide team conference calls the Monday after our team meeting. Before each Conference Call an email reminder will be sent out with instructions on joining the call. Please refer to my monthly newsletter for additional conference calls that may be scheduled.

PARTY SHADOWS
Shadowing a party can be one of the best ways to help you advance in knowledge and ideas with your Pure Romance business! We encourage you to contact a sister consultant and shadow a party.

Shadowing a Party Guidelines Below are a few guidelines to make sure it is a positive experience:
Dress business casual, please no jeans. Wear comfortable shoes, as we may ask for assistance with totes. Always be considerate to the Consultant and the Hostess. Arrive at least 15 minutes, no more than 30 minutes before start time, never walk in late. Wait outside and walk in with the Consultant so you can be introduced to the Hostess. Shut down your phone; never be texting or taking calls during the party. Make sure all guests have a place to sit before you sit down. Bring your own bottled water or pop if you need something to drink. Never promote another business. Do not give out your personal information when you are shadowing. Do not participate in the games; these are for the guests to play. If you see a past client of yours never make them feel guilty for attending another Consultants party. Be seen and not heard when in the ordering room, this is your opportunity to learn up-selling and cross-selling techniques. Watch what is done in the ordering room, only if it is comfortable with the guests. Do not smoke. If you dont stay for the ordering process, please leave quietly. Your #1 role is to learn from this experience and take a lot of notes! Contact me to schedule when you will be shadowing a party with me!

Expectations of My Team Members
Im committed to spreading the Pure Romance opportunity with a strong focus on education, empowerment and professionalism. As a member of my team, I will look to you to be an inspirational advocate for this mission. The great thing about being a business owner is the power to take control of your success! I will provide you support but you cannot expect results without effort on your part. Leadership Once you reach leadership status, I encourage you to implement a Team Handbook of your own. Please feel free to request a copy of mine for personalization. You will also be responsible for your team and required to help with their training and incentives. Disputes Personal disputes have no place in business settings; I kindly ask that you leave personal differences outside when attending team events. Focus on the overall success of your business and our team. As a courtesy, I ask that you acknowledge my inquiries within 24-48 hours so I know you have received my messages. Office Hours and Communication I do ask that you respect my office hours and contact me by my preferred method of communication. During office hours you can reach me via email and my office phone. If you need to reach me after office hours or have an emergency, please call me on my cell phone. I do respond to text messages, but if you need to reach me, please call me directly. Do not rely on email or Facebook to communicate with me if you need an immediate response. Training Your first coaching session with me will take place as soon as possible so you can get off to a quick start. I will dedicate my time to help you explore the Consultant website, to familiarize yourself with this vital tool in running your business. We will schedule a date for you to shadow one of my parties before you receive your Kit. If for any reason, you are not able to attend one of my parties I will connect you with another Consultant in your area. I can help you go through your Kit contents when you receive your Kit. This may be done over the phone or in person depending on location and availability. Support Just because you work for yourself, doesnt mean youre alone! I am here to assist you in finding the right answers to your questions. My goal is to make your road to success as easy as possible. Your monthly retail totals allow me to see when you are actively conducting business and also help me identify team members who need more help. I use this information to encourage, update, and remind you of important deadlines for becoming/remaining active, special contests, incentives, and policies. If you need help and we have not been communicating regularly I ask that you reach out. I do not always know if there are trouble with all my team members so be sure to reach out when you are having troubles, that is why I am here.

Participation I encourage you to attend all corporate events and team meetings held within a 100-mile radius of your home. The training, networking and motivation all contribute to your success as a Pure Romance Consultant and independent business owner. Did I mention the Corporate Office awards various incentives to Consultants who attend events training within a 200-mile radius? This is also a great way for you to receive leads, prizes, recognition and other incentives from me! Team Meetings are the perfect opportunity to network and learn from fellow Consultants. This will allow you to extend your support system within Pure Romance. I will be a resource for you to help you develop skills for success. Rest assured, if I dont have an answer for you, I will find one as soon as possible. When responding to your questions, I will explain where you can find the answer in the future. This will allow you to confidently research and answer questions as you become a resource for your own customers and future recruits.

Communication Plan
Ongoing communication is an essential ingredient to a successful Pure Romance business. Being informed and up-to-date will allow you to become more involved in all aspects of owning and operating your own business. Effective communication will allow you to become a leader and prepare you for managing a team of your own. The better we all understand policies, procedures, and products, the more effective we become as business women. Having a set communication plan will help us have a greater understanding of the business, which will lead to better customer service and higher sales. I have outlined my various methods of communication below. Please feel free to share your ideas on new ways I can communicate with our team.

How I Get In Touch with You


E-mail is the number one way that I will get in touch with you. As a Pure Romance Consultant you will want to create your very own business email address and update the Consultant Online Office with that information, otherwise all contact info will be sent to the email you specified when signing up. Please check this account daily! If this is difficult for you to do, please select the option to have your email forwarded to an account that you will check on a daily basis. I often send party leads, meeting reminders and important announcements via email and trust me; you dont want to miss out on valuable business information! Also, your customer might email you there and you do not want to miss their emails either!! If you need assistance with that, please let me know.

Party Lead Requirements for Team Romance Maven


From time to time, I will have party leads to pass along to my team. These party leads are my preferred customers, leads from Corporate, or leads from other Consultants. I will only reward these party leads to Consultants who are actively working their business. As a reward for your hard work, you can be included on my party lead rotation list when you do the following: Sales Requirement You must have and retain at least $600 in monthly retail sales. If you reach below this level, you will be removed from my rotation list until you achieve $600 in the following month. Corporate Meetings Requirement You must attend all local corporate meetings. Team Meeting Requirement You must attend team meetings Reporting Requirement You must e-mail me a status update of the party within 24-hours. Your update should include: o Number of Guests o Total Retail Sales o Total Parties Booked o Number of Potential Recruits Should you fail to report back to me within 24 hours, you will be removed from my party lead list.

How Party Leads Are Distributed When I have a party lead that becomes available, I will distribute it to the current list. Therefore if you receive an email with a party lead you need to respond to it via e-mail. No phone calls* please! I will review all responses and then give out the lead according to 1) meeting the requirements 2) the last time you received a lead 3) location of the lead 4) type of lead (they may request a certain type of Consultant or that the Consultant carries ample stock, etc.).

Emergency Leads From time to time there will be a party that needs to be covered last minute. When this happens, I will email everyone in the area to cover it. If you are available, please reply! I will distribute the lead based on the best fit for each other (hostess and Consultant). Leads are never given out on a first come, first serve basis. Always respond to the lead in the manner it was sent (e.g., email email me, text text me, etc.). Permanent Removal from the Party Lead List Under no circumstance may a consultant give another consultant a party lead; I allowed them to cover / utilize to grow their business. You must contact me in an event of an emergency so I can distribute to the next lady in rotation. Also, if I receive any party complaints, including failure to deliver product to the customer in a timely fashion (within 7 to 10 business days) you will permanently be removed from my party lead list.

Team Leadership Opportunities


When you are working your business by booking, selling, and recruiting you may have the opportunity to join our Leadership Team. When you have recruited a specific amount of recruits and maintain certain sales, you may receive a personal invitation to join with our Leadership Team, which puts together our area team meetings and helps with creating trainings and content for our team. To become a member of the Leadership Team you must: Attend all team meetings Attend all local Corporate meetings Attend Empowerment Summits Become a Senior Consultant and maintain minimum retail and recruiting requirements specified in the leadership agreement. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will be asked to meet the following expectations at all times: Accountability to your personal team leader, your team and yourself Willingness to serve Knowledge of Pure Romance policies, code of conduct, current news, contest book, etc Arriving early to all Pure Romance functions, whether they be Corporate or locally sponsored Having a welcoming and friendly spirit to all Consultants in all situations Contributing suggestions and input at team leader meetings or conference calls Dependability Consultants on the team should know that they can contact you for support Sharing your concerns and/or struggles with your upline Director or the Director closest to that role. Never complain to your team or to Consultants on other teams. Lead by example Book, Sell, Recruit, and Train before you expect your team to do the same. Never miss a meeting unless it is an emergency that cannot be avoided. Participate in offering incentives to your team members. You do not have to follow the incentives set by your upline but you must offer some sort of help to your downline whether it be a paper award, gift of your time (one-on-one meet ups), or prizes (free product, gifts cards, etc). If you do not offer incentives to your team, your upline will award their incentives to them and you will no longer be eligible for any leader incentives offered by your upline.
Becoming a part of the any Leadership Team is a privilege, you can choose to decline the position at any time you feel that you cannot meet these expectations.
