Previous introdu ction of a new product took 5 months. * Creation of 28 future state diagrams that detailed various impacts to business processes across all business domains for deployment of new unsecured product. Sr. Business Analyst Enterprise Risk, Capital Markets & International Mortgage (April 2005 to July 2007) Designed a transient extensible canonical model (XCM) built to translate EDI X12 and XML data mappings for Mortgage Originations, Claims, and Servicing files. XCM contained over 250 data elements, and resulted in decreasing interface devel opment from 90 days to 2 days. Radian went from delivering 4 to 5 interfaces pe r year, to 4 to 5 interfaces per month. Represented Radian at all MISMO trimeste r Mortgage Insurance conferences, and contributed to the improvements of the 2.3 .1 MISMO standard. * Created a comprehensive metadata repository that contained data elements, form at, business definitions & rules, expected data ranges, enumeration decoding, an d subject matter experts throughout the enterprise. Prior to having this availa ble, I received approximately 20 calls per day about various data elements, and questions about what the data was intended to represent. Created a risk matrix that scored data element s across 5 major categories including compliance, premiums, Net Insurance Writte n ($ volume), amongst others. Delivered a series of modules that monitored data outliers for each data element, and performed root cause analysis based on data creation and data change criterion. Effectively monitor whether a system proce ss or user modified the data, and then propose either fixes to automated process es or training for habitual offenders. * Successfully corrected more than 200,000 data errors in 2004 * Developed visual basic code to extract, format, and save 185 weekly monitoring files, improving the time to process information from 2 business days to 10 min utes.
