EMPLOYMENT

New Berlin School District-Administrative Assistant 08/10 to Present Responsible for all activity that takes place in the New Berlin High School. Re sponsible for all the financial activity for all the extracurricular activities plus paying bills for the regular High School Funds. Responsible for dealing wi th all students, parents, teachers, and all outside inquiries. Accountable for balancing the banking statements and credit card statements. Counsel students w ho need to talk usually in a crisis. Answer all phone lines, data input, make d eposits and other regular office duties. Tower of Refugee 6/09 to 10/09 Volunteer Designed, Implemented and taught Life Skills Curriculum to ex-offenders who had just been released from prison. Responsible for making sure these clients were s taying on track with their drug intervention programs and making sure they were reaching their goals that the individual had set out for themselves. Two times a week- the curriculum included basic hygiene, dressing for success, how to reac h self-confidence talk , talking about keeping their behavior on the straight an d narrow, how to get jobs, resumes and practicing for interviews. (Accepted this temporary assignment for experience.) My reports were sent to the judge explaining and concern, fro m either side, reaction of the children from either side, their behavior with th eir biological parents and after 6 months to 18 months depending on the case dec iding if the parent's rights should be terminated or if the same schedule should remain.
