*HQHUDO ,QIRUPDWLRQ A brake test on the dynamometer cannot equate 100% to real conditions during a braking procedure on the street. Due to the relatively high weight difference between front and rear axle, it is normal to obtain a high measured value at the front axle. Vehicles with low rear axle loads will achieve only low braking power at rear axle. In addition, driving-related braking influences like load shift, relative friction, road conditions etc. are not reproducible on a dynamometer. The following table shows the minimum braking power at rear axle, dependent on the actual axle load with vehicle stationary. The braking power indications in the following table represent standard braking thresholds. The table lists the lowest tolerance value that must be achieved. It is always obtained or exceeded for a properly functioning brake system.
