Focused on photovoltaic manufacturing feasibility analysis and renewable energy systems design, performance evaluation, engineering, procurement and contracting consultation. * Performed Due Diligence assignment for Four Points Capital, a private equity i nvestment group, by traveling to Taiwan and China for purposes of evaluating a p otential CIGS manufacturing operation and the establishment of a solar based bus iness in China. Due Diligence included detailed feasibility analysis of an awar d winning CIGS process flow and subsequent thin film manufacturing operation as well as meeting with Chinese utilities, economic development groups and local in vestors on the establishment of a solar 'fab to farm' business model. * Planned and constructed a solar panel test facility and executed a side by sid e performance study of a-Si, c-Si and CIGS panels in an energy harvest compariso n test where measurements of global irradiance, current, voltage, cell temperatu re and fill factor were measured yielding generation assumptions for the technol ogies. * Won consulting contract with a west Houston Independent School District and lo cal A/E firm to perform BIPV, urban wind turbine and energy storage system desi gn for an 80,000 sqft junior college to be built in Katy TX. Integrated renewab le systems design into the architectural work flow and took the renewable system s program through building programming, schematic design, S/MEP integration and construction documents. Oct 2007 to Jan 2010: (Austin TX) Co-Founder and Vice President, Solar Array Ventures Inc.

Mission; to manufacture and market thin film photovoltaic's targeting utilities, commercial and BIPV applications. * Created & presented company pitch multiple times ultimately securing Series A funding of $2M in private equity from Oxantium Ventures, Washington DC, received term sheets from Yellowstone Capital and Quercus Trust. * Originated the 10MW utility scale solar installation with the City of Houston and Reliant Energy in July 08 and designed a 1MW ground mount array and a solar panel evaluation lab for Vectren, a southern Indiana utility. * Created detailed 5 yr business operations plans and financial proformas with c ompletely vetted supply chain and budgetary supply quotations for multiple facto ry operations, this included modeling for all manufacturing Cost per Watt indice s, Revenue, Margin, COGS, MCOS, Labor and Utilities. * Designed and modeled complete Lean Production Flow and Value Stream Map for pr

oposed manufacturing facility. Analysis included modeling for on hand inventory and turn requirements, internal logistics / material handling men and equipment modeling, material movement / time study, kanban material replenishment and eco nomic order quantity (EOQ) work flow development and work force sizing and sched uling requirements. * Modeled 'turnkey' PV installation project costs for commercial, utility, and B IPV solar installations. Including kWh performance estimations (SAM, PVWATTS), balance of system (BOS) costs, inverter and wiring costs, DC optimizer integrati on, permitting, labor and EPC ultimately yielding total installed cost and kWh g eneration. Applied Materials Inc., 13 years Nov 2006 to Oct 2007: Operations Manager, Solar Business Group (Santa Clara CA) Responsibilities included: the development, implementation and ongoing performan ce of the core Operations business practices of the newly formed Solar Business Group within Applied Materials. * On core team responsible for the selection and training of the Operations Team for the Solar Division.
