CHAPTER 2 SUMMARY OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINEE ACTIVITIES

2.1 Activities performed during the industrial training Week 1 ( 4/7/2011-9/7/2011 ) staff. They bring me around the company and introduce to the machines. Registration.Key in data, course that attend by KL KRISS COCOA

Start to do the work of insulation.

Trainee is asked to do the work of drilling and wiring work.

They have taught me to do the piping and threading work.

Week 2 ( 11/7/2011-16/7/2011 )

They have taught me how to handle the grinder machine.

Supervisors have given some information about the safety purpose of the machines.

Trainee is asked to do the work of fish pond modification.

Trainee is told to hack the concrete sink.

Trainee learn to install CCTV cameras and its maintenance.

Trainee is asked to fix the automatic daily timer switch.

Week 3 ( 18/7/2011-23/7/2011 ) Learn a proper way to change compressor oil.

Trainee is asked to fix the wooden cupboards.

Trainee is told to fix the iron cupboards.

Trainee is asked to separate off the screws, bolt nut and washer.

Trainee is put grease for the bearings.

Trainee is asked to do the work of grinder machine (G2).

Week 4 ( 25/7/2011-30/7/2011 )

Trainee is asked to do the work of grinder machine (G2). Trainee is asked to make an airbrator cloth.

Trainee is learned the direction of fixing the airbrators.

Trainee are asked to remove the old paint of the roaster machine I and the scraping process.

Trainee have learned about the aluminium paint and its tendencity.

Week 5 ( 1/8/2011-6/8/2011 )

Trainee have learned directions of painting process using aluminium paint. Trainee learned to change the pulley machines v-belt.

Trainee is asked to change the belt of screw track motor. Trainee have learned about the aluminium enkle and its uses. Trainee is learn about the rivetting process by using rivetter

Week 6 ( 8/8/2011-13/8/2011 )

Trainee have learned about the uses of iron string. Trainee is asked to do the wiring installation in the cabin. Trainee have learned about the tricolour high light holder or high bay and its connections.\

Trainee have learned to replace the burned filter cloths with new ones.

Week 7 ( 15/8/2011-20/8/2011 )

Trainee have learned the process of changing the shaft of grinder machine. Trainee is asked to do the work of sifter machine. Trainee have learned the process of cleaning the shaft. Trainee have fix the shaft again to the grinding machine. Trainee makes intersection lines on the sifting plate. Trainee makes punch and more holes on the sifting plate.

Week 8 ( 22/8/2011-27/8/2011 )

Trainee is asked to do the work in compressor room. Trainee have learned to do the work of grease insert. Trainee is asked to do the work of CCTV maintenance. Trainee is asked to separate off the screws, bolts, nuts, and washers. Trainee have learned the usage of the contact cleaner. Trainee is asked to remove the old enkle shelf from the store room.

Hari raya puasa aidilfitri and national day holiday.

Week 10 ( 5/9/2011-10/9/2011 )

Trainee have learned to do the v-belt holder. Trainee have separate the v-belts by used and unused categories. Trainee have sort out and classify the v-belts by its groups and its sizes.\

Trainee have change grinder machine blades.

Week 11 ( 12/9/2011-17/9/2011 )

Trainee have learned about the topping up the battery water process of forklifts.

Trainee is asked to do the work of sifter machine. Trainee is asked to do the work of water pump motor. Trainee is asked to change the bitter blade of grinder machine.

Week 12 ( 19/9/2011-24/9/2011 )

Trainee is asked to give an aluminium paint coat for the hopper of roaster machine II.

Trainee is asked to give a coat of anti rust for the hopper II. Trainee have applied anti rust paint on wiring panel. Trainee have give an orange coat for the main and minor branches of the wiring panels.

Trainee give a coat of aluminium paint to the roasters fit screw and the R3 fit screw.

Week 13 ( 26/9/2011-1/10/2011 )

Trainee have learned the counting system of v-belt. Trainee is asked to count the oil seals. Trainee have learned to use microsoft excel program by key in the data. Trainee have learned about the counting system of sproket. Trainee have learned to key in the quantities of sprokets.

Week 14 ( 3/10/2011-8/10/2011 )

Trainee have learned about the silicone sealant and the directions of using it. Trainee have apply the PRO-SPEC Elephant Glue 168 to the broken filter. Trainee is asked to fix the iron cupboard in electrical room. Arrange the electrical stuff in the iron cupboard. Trainee is asked to fix the steam gasket. Trainee have learned the ways of fixing the blower machine.

Week 15 ( 10/10/2011-15/10/2011 )

Trainee is asked to put grease for the bearings. Trainee is asked to change the pulley machines belt. Trainee is asked to top up the battery water of forklift. Trainee is asked to wash up the parts of the grinder machine. Trainee is asked to replace the snapped v-belt with new one. Trainee is asked to clean the bouncing balls of the sifter machine.

Week 16 ( 17/10/2011-22/10/2011 )

Trainee is asked to fix the shaft of grinder machine (M4) Trainee is asked to open and check the high bay which is the tricolour high lamp holder.

Trainee is asked to change the bitter blade of grinder machine. Trainee is asked to top up the battery water of forklifts.

Trainee is asked to key in the quantities of sprokets and pulleys.

Week 17 ( 24/10/2011-29/10/2011 )

Holiday of Deepavali.

Week 18 ( 31/10/2011-5/11/2011 )

Trainee is asked to change the burned filter cloth with new filter cloth. Trainee is asked to clean the bouncing balls of the sifter machine. Trainee is asked to fix the steam gasket to the blower. Trainee is asked to wash up the parts of grinder machine. Trainee is asked to fix the blower machine.

Week 19 ( 7/11/2011-12/11/2011 )

Trainee is asked to put grease for the bearings. Trainee is asked to fix the shaft of grinder G3 and to take out the shaft of G1.

Trainee is asked to replace the damage belt of pulley machine with new one. Trainee is asked to do the maintenance and clean the CCTV cameras in the company.

Trainee is asked to top up the battery water of forklifts Trainee is asked to separate off the screws, bolts, nuts and washers.

Week 20 ( 14/11/2011-19/11/2011 )

Trainee is asked to change the bar separator of the grinder machine. Trainee is asked to spray on the wiring connections which is inside the motor machine.

Trainee is asked to make an airbrator cloth. Trainee is asked to replace the damaged v-belt of pulley machine with new one.

Trainee is asked to put the grease for the bearings.

Week 21 ( 21/11/2011-26/11/2011 )

Trainee is asked to open and check the high bay which is the tricolour high lamp holder.

Trainee is asked to change the burned filter cloths with new filter cloths. Trainee is asked to change the damaged shaft with new one of the grinder machine.

Trainee is asked to replace the snapped belt of the screw track with new one. Trainee is asked to clean bouncing balls of the sifter machine. Trainee is asked to wash up the parts of the grinder machine.

Week 22 ( 28/11/2011-2/12/2011 )

Trainee is asked to do the maintenance and clean the CCTV cameras in the company.

Trainee is asked to spray contact cleaner on the wiring connections which is inside the motor machine.

Trainee is asked to make the bearings works smoothly by inserting grease. Trainee is asked to key in the quantities of the v-belts and oil seals.
