Initial efforts were directed towards pruni ng the unprofitable product lines, followed by a major re-direction and re-organ ization of the business. Accomplishments realized were a return to a breakeven status in one year and the subsequent meeting of volume and earnings targets. I nnovative new product development included the incorporation of digital electron ics in analog equipment. 1962 to MICRODOT INC. South Pasadena, CA 1975 VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER

Directly responsible for two Divisions of Microdot; namely, Dynisco and Instrume ntation. And directly involved in bringing three acquisitions into the Instrume ntation Division. Successfully managed the company through a period of adverse market conditions. In late 1970, a corporate decision was made to restructure t he company. Thirteen divisions were divested over a three year period. Persona lly involved in the profitable selling of the Dynisco Division to venture capita lists and the Instrumentation Division to Cutler-Hammer, Inc. GENERAL MANAGER Promoted to General Manager of the Dynisco Division, a manufacturer of industria l instrument products. Developed excellent exposure and experience in competiti ve industrial sales, including international markets. MANUFACTURING MANAGER Promoted to Manufacturing Manager for the Instrumentation Division, with product s ranging from stress measurement equipment to microwave generators. Key accomp lishments were the significant improvement of profit margins and the realization of dramatic volume increases in the manufacturing of diverse product lines. CHIEF ENGINEER Joined the Instrumentation Division as Chief Engineer and received product respo nsibility for several newly acquired companies. Subsequently added manufacturin g responsibility for all measurement instruments. Major accomplishment was the improvement of marginal product lines to the highest corporate profitability lev els through a combination of controlling engineering, manufacturing and pricing activities.

(CEC/Tran sducer Division) as a development engineer. Progressed through a series of engi neering assignments involved with electronic instruments. Promoted to product l ine manager with direct engineering responsibility and financial accountability for sophisticated electro-mechanical devices. Received various U.S. patents for instrumentation products.
