- Further reduced CAPEX with the deployment of second generation digital receive rs as compared to first generation digital receivers at FOX affiliate sites. Responsible for the implementation of: affiliate an alog satellite distribution technologies, and digital transmission and rollout, and Project Manager for transition analog-digital transmission project, - Serve as engineering department engineer in designing, issuing RFP for the ne w Fox Pico lot satellite transmission facility (1998) Fox Tape - May 1992 to December 1998 Vice President, Satellite Engineering - Responsible for the development of the plan and implementation of modernizing Fox Tape's then current two transponder uplink facility in Hollywood to six tran sponders within a six month period of time, and re-licensed the site with the FC C, - Developed the functional specifications and provided production and testing re view for the new addressable analog satellite receivers to be used for the Fox B roadcasting Network, - Developed and issued the RFP for required satellite receiver and descramblers to support FOX Network's conversion to addressable technologies, - Developed the testing criteria for the satellite scrambling RFP issued by FOX and conducted testing and qualification tests for the various vendors that respo nded to the RFP, - Served as affiliate engineering project leader that culminated in the successf ul launch of FX and FXM, - Developed the functional specifications and supervised the production, testing and deployment of the new Unity 4000 addressable digital receiver for Fox Cable Networks TVN Entertainment - Burbank, CA - May 1989 to April 1992 Vice President, Engineering
