The following is the directive from corporate control: Warranty and non-warranty return Costs (also Cost of non-quality): Beginning January 1st, 2012 there is an accounting change in the treatment of warranty costs. In accordance with external accounting practices and peer group, as of January 1st 2012 all Warranty costs will be classified within Cost of Sales; Therefore beginning with AOP Tier 2 these costs should be planned within Cost of Sales.
