Park Manager III Arizona State Parks, San Rafael Short Grass Prairie Reserve, Patagonia, AZ Grade/Salary: (21) / $34,097 - $52,145 per year Closing Date: (usually about 4 weeks from the announcement date depending on the type of job professional/staff) The Position: Manages the daily operation of San Rafael Short Grass Prairie Preserve. Plans for the development of Preserve facilities and resources. Prepares yearly operating budget. Oversees preserve administration, interpretive education Programs, facility and grounds maintenance activities, Supervise park operations staff. Ensures security at the preserve, visitor center, and historic site locations. Residency is required. Minimum Qualifications: On year of experience equivalent to a Park Manger II OR two years of experience equivalent to a Park manger I, or Park Operations Coordinator. A Bachelor's degree in Park Management, Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Geology, Ecology, Recreation Planning, or closely related field may substitute for one year of the Park Manager I or Park Coordinator experience. Special Selection Factors: Possession of or eligibility to obtain Arizona Class D Driver's License. Employment is contingent on the passing of a medical/physical examination.
