We welcome you to the Journeys End CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program for the 2012 season!! Members enjoy fresh, seasonal produce from the farm from June to November! A F ull S ha r e i ncl u d es : A bounty of in-season, flavorful, colorful and heirloom Veggies, Fruits, and Herbs 10-15 pounds of fresh produce each week Weekly Pick-Up at Journeys End on Tuesdays 3:30-6:30pm Weekly Blog Newsletter with share info, growing updates and recipes Volunteer Opportunities Community Events Pick-your-own herbs and flowers All of our produce is grown at Journeys End without the use of pesticides or chemicals with the intention of nurturing the soil and ecology of the land. Members enjoy freshly picked produce and an opportunity to get to know the people who grow it!!
We offer three other share options:
Half Share: Members pick up one full share every other week on the farm.
Farmers Market Share: The Farmers Market Share offers more flexibility for members. This pick-up happens at the Wayne County Farmers Market on Saturday mornings from 9:30pm to 1:30pm. If you purchase a Farmers Market Share you will have a pre-paid account with us at the market that you may use to buy whatever produce you choose from our table at a 10% discount: you may spend as much or as little as you like any given week. (Plan to come early for the best selection!)
Workshare Barter: Workshare members get a chance to experience a bit of real farm work in exchange for their seasonal bounty! Sign up for a 4-hour weekly shift during harvest season (June through October). In exchange for 4 hours of harvesting help on either Tuesdays or Fridays members will receive a free CSA share for the whole 22-week season.
