The Art Center offers scholarship opportunities to families that demonstrate a financial need and an interest in the arts. Full and partial scholarships are available. While other factors may be taken into consideration, scholarship amounts are determined on the basis of financial need.
To be considered for a scholarship, all fields of the application form below must be completed and returned to the Art Center along with a registration form, copies of recent tax forms or pay stubs for all contributing adults, a personal letter of intent and a letter of support by May 9th. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Submitting a scholarship application does not guarantee a space in the summer camp program and spaces will not be held during the application process. Funds are limited and will be dispersed based on financial need.
Eligibility
Scholarships are limited to one week per child during Summer Camp. Multiple-week scholarships will not be granted. A separate form must be submitted for each child applicant. Children receiving scholarships must be members of the Art Center, either as a child member or under a household membership.
Scholarships cover tuition only. Scholarship applications will be collected up until the deadline, and then will be considered collectively. Registration must be finalized and any remaining balance paid within 5 days of receiving notice of a scholarship award from the Art Center. Failure to do so will result in loss of the scholarship. Scholarship money and/or scholarship applications may not be transferred from one session to another, or from one child to another.
